Illyia has a happy go lucky personality, and is outgoing and friendly on the surface. However beneath the surface she is deeply paranoid, taking the time to analyse everyone she meets. She masks this with lots of jokes and puns and silly games, using them to feel people out and gauge their intentions.
When confronted with new mechanical devices this paranoia vanishes and is replaced with a childlike sense of glee. Illyia takes extensive notes and drawings of all new mechanisms she encounters.

Just like his name, Jack's mind is pretty simple. He sees brute force as a way to solve almost all of his problems and enjoys brainless routine, like scrubing the floor, this habit leaked out to the other aspects of his life and gave him a low-key obsession with tidiness. He also likes flexing his muscle and is an advocate of high-protein meals.

Biography
Born in Fishman Island but later decided to join a scavenger group called Abyssal Hunter. Their job was to hold expedition into the dangerous floor of Calm Belt, walking right below those Sea Kings to retrieve sunken objects or discover things. A damn dangerous job.

Four years ago they got a request to investigate a disappearing ship so they booted their submarine and went down to look for it. Until this day they never found the ship, but they did find the cause of its disappearance, in a hard way. A swirling vortex that sucks everything including their submarine. At that moment Jack was sure that it would be the end of them because the submarine was destroyed by the vortex, leaving then separated from each other. However, Jack miraculously survive because he got thrown right into one of the upper level of the undersea where some of the marines rescued him. The others? He didn't know their whereabout.

Stranded on an unfamiliar place, Jack works as a laborer and made a name for himself as the Anchor Jack since he lugs around a chained anchor, the only thing he could find from the incident. Sometimes his mind wanders into the deep of the earth, wondering whether any of his comrade survived down there.

Home Island: Kikutaru Island
Deep within the edges of the grand line rests the reportedly idyllic island settlement of Kikutaru, a brimming production hub for the world government without a care in the world as they live content lives to produce important compounds for the vital peacekeeping missions of the noble marines. From the colorful characters to vibrant and shining spires this idealized city is believed to be the example of the ideal life the world government seeks to bring about, receiving glowing reviews from its natives to the point so many seek to join the community and nay a person wishes to leave resulting in the location boasting the highest population density per square meter of any island under the control of the world government. Another more important draw to the island is said to be the healthcare provided to its citizens with a 100% satisfaction rating, the cornerstone of such is the mandatory medicinal supplement "Bliss", from the outside and to the majority of those within the existence can be described as little other than perfect, and those who disagree? well, they are simple downers that need to get cheered up at one of the many centers for such.

Peel back the pretty facade however and the true nature and state of the island are revealed to be the polar opposite, factory atop factory intent on cramming as much as possible into with living spaces a vague afterthought, the higher management would receive accommodations at the upper levels of the city with the workers down below and those unable to work or escaped trapped below the bowels to suffer the seeping emissions, collapses and all manner of other atrocities in the crime-filled underbelly as the Scraps. The outer rims of the city were devoted to supplying pipes with any previous vegetation or wildlife either drastically mutated from the chemical runoffs if not killed altogether by the contaminated wasteland. this meant leaving the city was not an option outside the arranged transports reserved for bringing in new citizens or escorting the "upper management" out when required.

In any other settlement, the conditions would have already started an uprising or some other manner of mass riot conflicting with the authority, yet this was avoided with the implementation of the mandatory Bliss. Regular intake of the medication resulted in drastically altered perceptions and compliance of the population along with a smile on every face, seeing the idyllic life of sunshine and rainbows the island was reported to be to the rest of the world, while the "downers" who refused to take such would quickly be revealed as they discovered the truth and taken away for "harsh" and unconventional treatment. That is to say, simply refusing to take such was more difficult than it seemed with the highly addictive nature as well as the infusion of such into the water supply. The source and key component in the Bliss was a plant that had once grown wild on the island though now incubated artificially, The "Grinning Garland" a powerful hallucinogenic with several other properties for which it was also exported for other purposes after the dangerous task of cultivating and farming it on mass was conducted by the locals. All this and more was made possible by the most prominent controller of the island Samara Darlington known to her people as "Darling Auntie" but to the rest of the world as simply "The Wall".

This woman was primarily the Head of the Division Black of Marine Biological Research. A cruel and methodical logical woman responsible for the cataloging and transport of numerous rare compounds for use by the various other Branches, this also included administering and securing of test sites such as Kikitaru Island. She holds little value in the concepts of past loyalties or bounds being a realist through and through seeking efficiency and results regardless, in her pursuit of "Ordered Justice" she has displayed an unrelenting and aggressive drive. A frightening intelligence she has shined primarily in the organizational and logistical management of the book projects but also in political science. Strangely has been noted to appear in multiple locations seemingly simultaneously, which had aided her in keeping tight control over her purview.

Personality
The enigmatic female who breaks through the calming deceptions forced upon her for the majority of her life in favor of the reality regardless of the comfort the prior may have brought. When asked regarding her past she may be included fragments of truth through a combination of the trauma, prolonged exposure indoctrinations, and feelings on such often result in somewhat unreliable answers. Calm, Blunt, Sassy, and with a Dry sharp wit they are never the less friendly overall to those she is familiar with yet this will not prevent her from pointing out several uncomfortable truths when needed.

The main ideal that appears to move her forward is both her desire for freedom and that of others, wishing to shatter false realities or deceptions as she challenges others to do the same to her in a somewhat hypocritical nature. Her main goal, however, appears to find a method to orchestrate the downfall of the world government due to its part in not only her past but many others, spreading truths and shattering the false image they have built for themselves.

As a result, she is far more likely to attack authority figures she judges as unfair or corrupt to those they lord over yet wishing to avoid permanently harming those who are simply misled by these deceptions. She also holds severe reservations about attacking those who have not provoked such or fellow doctors doing their work regardless of who for. Even to her crew, she has allowed them to believe numerous false things, some outlandish though often with ways of convincing or backing them up.

Biography
It is on Kikutaru island that Rerio would be born into the same "idyllic" life of its many other occupants, those born upon the island far more confined and controlled by its nature is the only world they had ever known making rejection far more difficult. So in relative terms, Rerio would group up "Happily" spending her time in the communal nurseries, seeing her parents for a whole hour every week and learning all about the island for the important and fun position they would soon take. It was however during this part that the first crack in the programming would be made, her mother introducing them to a song they had long since forgotten its origin but never its importance along with a myriad of other comments within the cracks of control, a tune that must never be forgotten but also danger so must be kept close. The concept of "Danger" was new to Rerio and from this, the first of many questions would begin to form, though fortunately, she would not be one to speak them openly, she didn't want to be a downer after all.

When Rerio was old enough to walk she was quickly brought to the Kindergarten to start her part in helping the happy city, clearing out the pipes and moving through the small places as only a child could but it wasn't long before her true talents began to be noticed. The culmination of this being her quick thinking in fixing a stuck limb of one of her the other worker's playmates within the pipes, making sure they didn't only get to ride away with the waters but also didn't get a cool peg leg but all was good so it was easy to forgive her, especially when Auntie moved her to an even more important role. This would be the start of her path as a Doctor, something she took to in earnest, and in her entire being able to help and keep the smiles around wasn't something she could turn down could she?. Still, the cracks and questions would continue to grow, urged on by an innocent yet simple comment by another playmate she had overheard "What is beyond the City Wall? What is beyond that?" she never did see the owner of the voice again, but the question was something she never could quite forget.

Still, time would continue to roll by as she grew and developed becoming one of Aunties favorites through her abilities alone, yet what will rise may also fall...and so she did when the realities of the world came crashing down to drag her with them into the abyss with the true nature of the island shattering the image built up over so many years. It had started with a question to Auntie, a slight change in the bliss formula...then while she was in the lab....she was chased? no, she stopped and threatened something...the freedom of falling? peace? no not peace, fear and anger she was shouting louder than she had before, she felt burning as if she was hitting something wet....then she was chained up in a cell...the entire series of events playing like fragment and blurred video but regardless of how it went down her final fate Rerio born again with an unnatural determination, forgoing conviction for resolve as she spent her time in the cell planning to get beyond that wall now the world she had grown in was finally clear.

Though to say this was all that occurred before her final grand escape would be too simple a punishment and far too wasteful, despite what Auntie would try Rerio appeared to refuse to die and so they simply solved one problem with another. As a result of the actions taken by the superior, the dietary budget of the island was slashed substantially with a new "protein" being added to the citizen's meals. Previously ALL "waste products" would be reconstituted and mixed with fast-growing algae to feed the citizens with their intoxication on bliss hiding the truth of what was being consumed, but for this period the algae were needed as the torture of Rerio had provided more than enough.

While others would fall into acceptance of their fate Rerio would not and after a year the event that would earn her their freedom would take place as well as would have secured a sizeable bounty for the damage done...if not for it quickly being collected in the final moments. While she was unable to break her restraints she had instead managed to break herself to gain freedom, rushing the door during a routine inspection and breaking out of her cell to begin a rampage through the compound, driven only by the need to be free and get beyond that wall. Tearing through countless of the marines stationed she would proceed like an unchained beast, neither the blades are driven into her nor the bullets stopping their assault, even with the loss of her arms they clutched a blade within their mouth and kept pushing until she broke past the walls, pushing further until finally atop a hill of obstacles she saw blue atop the cliffs of the shore after so much.

This sight of salvation was short-lived, however, a voice from behind would speak leaving her only enough time turn before the cliffside soon fell into ruin and her into the waters below once more believed to have finally died. Had it be that simple it would have sparred them what was to come, drifting amidst the salted waters she would lose track of time, refusing to die yet her skin engulfed in flames even beneath the waves...suffice to say the experience was quite painful and quite prolonged. Relief would come eventually, she was not sure how long it had been but it came as she would eventually be washed up on (STARTING AREA)

The rest of Rio's story remains to be told, for good or ill the woman who now stands as been defined by the events that brought her to this point and will be further defined by those yet to come.

description: Through the use of their fruit they enter a state similar to autohypnosis with increased perception and reactions becoming closer to instinct and reflex, the greater the damage they have suffered the stronger the effect produced allowing them to act without impairments. This is connected to their water-based martial arts and has often resulted in them anticipating actions before they have even begun to be performed then acting with superhuman levels of ability for split seconds pushing the body beyond its limits, increasing their actions by several factors. Its appearance has been described as of the Sea, Flowing and Crashing in its own unique style separate from Fishman Karate typical forms.

Description: Through the use of personal medical knowledge and a steady hand they are able to accurately target opponents' weak points be they physical or mental through either hand to hand or through the use of small blades. This also allows the reading of the target body as if one were reading a conventional language gleaming a large amount of information from the muscle and eye movements of the individual. This however has proved ineffectual versus mechanical or cybernetic targets.

-Fishman nature gives them many traits of a Zebrafish resulting in advanced healing lacking any distinct scars or disfigurements despite their risk-taking nature. This also has given other features such as sharper teeth and enhanced senses including electromagnetic detection.
-The smell of food automatically activates her visual senses waking them up near instantly.
-Has a large number of siblings though they themselves are an outlier, they have had very little contact with them following birth.

Personality
Fuji loves the woods and would prefer to just spend his life roaming them endlessly, though he does worry that by staying in the same woods too long he would eventually grow bored due to getting to know them perfectly. While he is not above killing animals for food or because they're dangerous he loves them and dreams of discovering a new species. On the other hand he doesn't like killing sentient creatures but will do so if he sees no other option. He isn't too fond of zoo's but understands why they exist and is willing to leave them alone if they treat the animals well enough, he really hates animal abusers though.

Fuji can be a bit embarrassed by how "uncivilized" he can be and as such tries to hide the fact that he doen't really get the value of money and that he has no problem with eating certain raw foods. On the other hand he doesn't care if people know he prefers being outdoors pretty much all the time.


Biography

While his parents didn't like Fuji spending so much time in the woods due to dangerous animals they realized they couldn't stop him. Instead they signed him up for lessons in wilderness survival as soon as he was old enough. There were some issues at first, mostly due to Fuji preferring to explore on his own and getting lost for about two days. He survived because it was in an area without large animals but got some food poisoning due to him eating some bad berries. After that he learned his lesson and didn't leave the others to set of alone anymore. He ended up doing well enough that eventually the instructor put him in the advance class, the one on one lessons in more dangerous areas that came with it were something Fuji really enjoyed.

Unfortunately for Fuji he eventually ran out of areas on Aerion he hadn't explored and started becoming bored. In an attempt to fix that he decided to try and take up hunting. It was during these trips he picked up both the blowgun and spear wanting ranged and melee options. Since he had to teach himself how to use those weapons he didn't improve as fast as he liked but eventually he became decent enough with both. The new experience helped a little but he felt the island just didn't hold anything really exciting for him anymore and he wondered if he should start exploring other islands on the Grand Line. Just as he was about to set off news of the Undersea reached him. Seeing his chance to both discover new animals and explore places no one had been before he signed up as a colonist while planning to leave his assigned home as soon as possible.

All his friends and family knew what he was up to and before he left his instructor entrusted his treasure to Fuji, a Devil Fruit. The instructor had had the fruit for years but never saw a need to eat it and besides he loved swimming. Fuji on the other hand ate the fruit before leaving Aerion, not fully understanding how expensive it was, but kept his new abilities secret from his fellow colonists. Almost immediately after arriving on the Undersea Fuji left his colony to look for a pirate crew he could explore this new world with. Of course having no experience with sailing he wasn't exactly first pick material but eventually he found a crew willing to take him for his wilderness expertise.

Kessho Island - A fairly average island, it’s main quirk being a hefty abundance of a specific kind of crystal that can be found in what few caves are located on the island. The crystals, being as common as they are, have no significant value. However, their durability makes them good for creating weapons or armour, Kal doing the latter. The island isn’t too advanced technology-wise, being on the lower end of average. However, the island is filled with poisonous plants, making it ideal for research based on this.

Personality

Kal attempts to act tough, but is an overall soft person. He loves to take care of others, and happens to be particularly great with children although he has none of his own. Though he is a gentle person, he’s not the kind to be taken advantage of, as he’s smart and able to tell when people are trying to use him for personal gain. He’s really accepting of others, and willing to make friendships that last. He tends to be really giving, willing to sacrifice his own personal belongings for others who may need them more. He’s very adventurous and loves what he does. Kal would use his skills in poisons to intimidate others, but would never put anyone in direct harm.

Biography

Kal was born to two unknown parents, but was swiftly moved into the care of a couple who’s last names were Aguillard. The couple happened to be phytotoxicologists, and Kal was fascinated by this, wanting to study the same field as them them. When Kal was around 10, he began his self-taught lessons and was fairly great at picking up and understanding the information. It was around this time that he had mistakingly consumed the Bat-Bat Devil Fruit, enabling him the ability to transform into a fruit bat. This made Kal’s study easier due to his new form; he could use the senses he had as a bat to identify poisonous or edible plants.

It is unknown the reason why, but at the age of 13 he completely lost his ability to read. However, this wouldn’t stop his pursuit for knowledge. He continued to practice and would officially receive his unofficial title as ‘phytotoxicologist’ at age 22. Kal didn’t stop there, however, and continued his practices while picking up a few new hobbies and studies. Kal found that learning becomes quite difficult without the ability to read, so he continued to practice until he got down basic words and phrases; he also learned better to understand pictures and gestures, symbols and significant colours. This way, he wouldn’t have to find out if something was poisonous or the hard way.

By age 27, both Aguillards died of unknown circumstances and Kal would take their last name out of respect. He then began to really figure out about pirates. Though he had never been the type to travel, nor the type to do much anything dangerous, the idea of becoming a pirate, or at least being a crew mate really excited him. He knew that if he were to join a crew, he would definitely be able to discover new horizons, as well as new plants. Age 37, he made his way alone to Helmouth in an attempt to join a crew that would accept him. Most reject him due to his outward appearance and the nature of his Devil Fruit ability, not seen as good compared to others combat-wise.

Personality
Mesa is an incredibly care free person. She doesn't tend to hold back at all when it comes to saying what she wants or getting herself involved in risky situations 'because it seems fun'. She is practically fearless and incredibly bold. When something sparks her curiosity she is often quick to jump in to try and see it for herself even if it might be dangerous. She isn't at all hesitant to get straight into a fight even taking some personal enjoyment out of it. She has a bit of a soft side to her in terms of wanting to help out the helpless in part seeing a bit of her old self though she wouldn't ever be direct in having such intentions in aiding someone in need. She is quite a good liar, more so able to speak out her lies with such confidence its easy to actually believe them despite in cases she might not even have a clue what the hell she is claiming.

Mesa's sanity can be... questionable. She can be rather reckless to the point of getting herself into dangerous situations due to the sheer thrill of it. She does have a bit of a mischievous side to her. She can be rather sadomasochistic at times, finding a bit too much joy out of being hurt, as well as inflicting pain both physical and mental on others. Her darker side when left unchecked can be rather dangerous requiring her to have others to really pull her back. She has a deep seeded need for companionship in some form always attempting to keep in the company of others when possible even if she might come off hostile or troublesome for those she is around.

Biography
Born on a pirate ship, the young girl only spent a short time on sea before being supposedly abandoned by her mother on an incredibly hostile island of Gull-Rock. She was taken in by a woman named Wes Sael to live with other orphaned children. She was given the name Flo. Wes would teach the children to steal, beg, or do anything it took to survive. The money that was brought back for begging was taken and most used by Wes to get her own things she wanted while giving the child who brought the money back the scraps of food left over. It created an unspoken rule for the children, stealing was the only way to get what you want being able to take as much as you want for yourself. The worst element that while Wes Sael never taught it, in her own twisted way it was what she wanted the children to learn.

Flo eventually was put out onto the streets to survive only being four. She learned how to beg getting scraps from the locals who as horrible as they might be could shed a small degree of humanity for a child. Such generosity only lasts so long as she grew a bit bigger eventually turning around six when Wes took a bigger cut of what she could get and the people so use to seeing her seemed to have much of their pity for her all but dried up giving her less and less. It caused the girl to resort to stealing as the other children learned to do. She wasn't very good at it.

Flo occasionally would get some food she managed to swipe but often times eh would get caught, leading to being beaten down to teach her a lesson and thrown out without anything to eat. There are many days she can recall having to try and sleep aching from the beating she received and the cries from her stomach demanding food. None the less, malnourished as she was Flo managed to make it by. She grew better at stealing though never quite as adapt as many others were. For her she learned to grew resilient learning to take the beatings if it meant taking some bites to eat while she was being kicked on the ground.

One day the nine year old attempted to steal food ended up going quite horribly wrong. Setting her targets on a pirate crew that had docked there after a rather fruitful pillaging, Flo stole from them making her escape with plenty of food and foods alongside a few other kids. Unfortunately for her one of the pirates had spotted her figuring out where she went. She hid away enjoying much of the food and ill begotten goods when several members of the crew barged in striking her down and beating her down in an inch of her life. It was then one of the pirates spotted an incredibly disgusting looking 'fruit' they mistook as being some sort of fungus growth from what she had stolen from them. He had shoved it into her mouth forcing her to eat it causing her to get the powers of the Flesh-Flesh fruit. Not knowing what she was doing she used the power of the fruit bloating her body as if to soak up their blows though turning herself partially into a hideous abomination causing the pirates to simple leave her in disgust assuming it to be some sort of infection.

Now with the power of the Flesh-Flesh fruit Flo started to use it to her advantage. While not fully knowledgeable about it she would grab the food using it inflating herself to partially absorb the blows softening the pain which would often lead to them wandering away thinking her to be some horrible abomination. Rather then stealing she started to use it toying around to do rather horrific looking things acting as if she was dissolving her flesh with her hand and other disgusting shows to disgust the person into giving her something to go away. The devil fruit itself helped her greatly making the rather subpar thief have a way of getting far more then she was capable of before. A seemingly boon for the then recently turned ten year old. She found her way in the hell hole that was Gull-Rock Island. Unfortunately it didn't take long for her methods to become more well known.

As time passed Flo found herself being avoided. While always known as one of the 'street rats', she never had found herself being avoided as much as she had with the devil fruit. Few would venture near her with many staying away. Her fellow orphans who would interact and talk with her suddenly stopped going near her with many avoiding her not wanting to be near 'the blob' and eaten. It slowly worn on Flo feeling more and more rejected. The girl would try and make friends showing off her 'tricks' to dispel the idea she was some abomination playing light of what her powers were only to be rejected that much more. Wes Sael her 'caretaker' all but dismissed her not being willing to even take her scraps in fear of it somehow being able to infect her with some sort of contagion.

As time passed rumors passed of the twelve year old inflicted with some horrific plague that melted flesh and consumed her and could infect others. Several of the islands residence took up arms attempting to murder her. Flo was stabbed and beaten managing to escape bloodied and scarred. She slipped away hiding away as best she could. With little choice she managed to stow away on a random pirate vessel and escaped from her home island never to return again. The pirate vessel she later learned was the Freak Show of the Freaks Pirates

Flo remained a stowaway doing her best to not be caught though as poor of a thief as she only lasted barely a day before she was spotted and taken in. Lady luck was on her side though as despite the roughness of the crew they weren't so quick to toss her overboard. Instead they allowed her to stay temporarily as a cabin girl. So long as she did the chores on the ship they would take care of her and even help her learn a bit how to fight. Rather then being horrified they embraced her devil fruit powers using her in numerous raids having her act the part of the pirate crews poor victim as the captain 'made her into mush through the power of his sight' to the villages horror causing many to put their arms down immediately and surrender their goods. It wasn't that long after Flo changed her name to Mesa Fleisch in part due to the insistence of the First Mate.

Mesa traveled the seas with the crew for just over six years. She learned how to be a pirate, but also learned how to be more kind hearted... as much as one could be when your with a crew raiding ship and stealing goods from people. She grew to learn to fight and use her Devil Fruit for more then simple disgusting displays to gross people out or to act as a makeshift cushion. She found a great love for the sea and what true companionship was, something she never fully realized how much she needed until she knew what it was. She was the crew's 'daughter' and they were her family. They ventured the East Sea gaining some wealth and renown.

Then eighteen the crew was unexpectedly ambushed while exploring a seemingly uninhabited island by another pirate crew. It turned out that one of the Freaks crew members ended up betraying them helping to setup the ambush. In the attack most of what was her family was killed with Mesa herself being injured in the fight and simply left for dead assuming to be killed off herself. The only sound left behind was the burning of the ship she once called home and a few painful cries of her fellow crew members as they died off unable to do anything as she fell unconscious.

Mesa managed to wake up a few days later pinned down though her devil fruit luckily able to be used to escape with none of her internal organs hit able to be alright. She was left deserted on the island for several weeks. A sense of loneliness crept into her head as an ounce of insanity found her. She did her best living of what she could as luck once again when a ship arrived three weeks and four days later hearing about a passing ship reported seeing flames several weeks ago and the captain of the vessel curious enough to try and see if they could find anything managing to stumble upon the island after spotting some of the charred remains of a ship that had washed ashore.

Mesa was taken back to another island. Now without a crew she was left to her own devices mostly lingering trying to find some purpose with her sanity partially torn, uncertain what she should do next. Perhaps something... reckless?

Personality
Kalletta is an easy going person despite her looks. She is often friendly to everyone she meets, possibly a bit too friendly as she usually just says whatever comes to mind to them. She is quite intelligent though its most often used to see how much trouble she can possibly cause. Kalletta enjoys most things that involve violence but she does have a talent in both writing she likes to exercise. She is also very good at sewing somehow, do not compliment her on these things as she will get angry, while completely not liking your praise.

Biography
Born and raised in Barosa Island, Kalletta didn’t have an easy life. When she had turned 8 her parents had simply gone away, one day leaving the shack they had lived in with one another and never returning. It was then that Kalletta had to basically take care of herself. She stole from others, fought for her own survival in a place that wouldn’t forgive her weakness.

Kalletta often wandered about the island, for food or other necessities. Which is where she found the weakest person she’s ever met. A historian who’s home she had broken into for his food, by the name of Clarent. He was an older man, gentle, more interested in his studies than anything, when he told Kalletta he often forgot to buy food for himself in favor of a good book she was pretty certain he was senile on top of everything else.

Yet when Kalletta left, she couldn’t stop thinking about him, mostly about how he’d probably waste away if because of his own stupidity. So, in what was probably her own brand of stupidity, she would come by his house sometimes and split her food. In exchange, she would get to read his books and other items, there weren’t too many of them on the island after all, so it was at least interesting in that way. Some of them even taught you how to fight good!

This went on for a few years, at least until the world had gotten word of the strange new Undersea. Like many other places it was the talk of the island, naturally knowing old man Clarent would talk her ear off about the topic she went to visit him begrudgingly.

Instead of talking her ear off he was weeping, both at the discovery of new people, new places, living when history was being made, but in sadness of how he was much too old and much to frail to go himself. For the first time she's seen, that content old man was frustrated with his own lot in life. So to shut him up she grabbed a bunch of maps and yet to be filled journals and told him she would make the history, or rather, write it down when she gets there. He was shocked into silence, Kalletta almost thought he had a heart attack, but instead he began to weep on her shoulder. Gross….


Combat InformationShe borrows many of her fighting techniques and abilities from various forms of martial arts, though doesn’t particularly focus on any one. As her background would suggest, she's a lot more of a street fighter. The only weapon she uses is a hollowed black pole she grabbed from Clarent’s home which he apparently held onto from travelling in his youth. He has forgotten the name of it after all this time, so Kalletta simply calls it the “Old Punk”

Friendly but blunt, Jeremiah doesn't mince words no matter who ya are. He's a straight shooter both figuratively and literally. He ain't been caught lyin a day in his life, even if it meant it could cost his life. His gut told him real young that lyin wasn't gon' get him nowhere in life, and he always trusts his gut. His gut also told him that when his pappy said folks what don't look like him aren't good people that his pappy was fulla pig shit. Tall, short, furred, gills, or wings. Ain't no one gon' get judged by Jeremiah off anything but his own take of 'em. Fond of the sea and dark, dank places alike Jeremiah ain't ever been one to shy away from no adventure no how.

Biography
Born on Backwater Island, Jeremiah Abernathy was the son of a farmer who was the son of a dozen generations of farmers datin back to when dirt was invented. He grew up farmin' and was sure he'd die farmin if his gut was to be believed. But what came between was not somethin his pappy or his gut coulda guessed. A lone pirate crew washed ashore on their island once, and after helpin them out Jeremiah followed his gut and snuck aboard to sail with em. His gut told him so, and this was but one o' many instances where it did him no wrong. He sailed with them pirates for ten years learning all about the world and navigatin, which he took a particular shine to. Them pirates weren't no lootin and pillagin type, but bon-u-fide treasure hunters. Unfortunately the crew broke up in Jeremiah's twenties over some dispute or another he can't very well remember these days. He spent another ten years treasure huntin' and ruin spleunkin' on his own before he met his future wife.

They had a couple kids and live happy like before she passed unexpectedly from an illness. Unsure o' how to raise em alone, he moved back to his home island and raised them with his pa and ma for a time. With time his pa and ma passed and his kids went and grew up on him. Some stayed to handle the farm and others left to venture the world on their own journeys. Teary eyed Jeremiah was happy to see them off on their own paths. But his gut was tellin him. It was time again to go out to see himself. He'd be needed for something, somewhere at some time and he needed to brush up on his navigatin skills before then. So off he went, venturin wherever his gut took him before ending up in the Undersea on another grand venture with another crew o' family.

Home Island:
Arpeggio Archipelago - A small, sparsely populated chain of islands within the East Blue. The only thing of note within the Arpeggio Archipelago is their namesake, the Arpeggio Cliffs, a series of rock formations that dot that islands that produce musical notes under proper weather conditions. Most of the island's inhabitants are either the proprietors of or employees of some resort, or another tourist spot. To put it plainly, the Arpeggio Archipelago is primarily a tourist trap.

If you were to put the gears of business aside, there are a scant few native inhabitants of the Arpeggio Archipelago. A small, quaint town sits on its northernmost island in the shadow of "C Minor", one of the Arpeggian Cliffs. Its population numbers only in the double digits, at least half of which are the staff and students of the local musical academy, which was supposedly founded by a legendary, swashbuckling maestro that discovered the archipelago hundreds of years ago.

Personality
Chipper by nature, and meek by nurture. Amelia attempts to be a bright young woman, wanting to put smiles on faces and joy in hearts. Her poor constitution, however, lends her a much weaker impression. While the words she picks are cheery, the voice she speaks them with is soft and shaky. She'll happily greet strangers, welcome new comrades into arms, and share a meal with most-anyone, hoping that the strength of her words will outweigh the weakness of her actions. She doesn't share the same seafaring spirit for pillaging and plundering as some of her crewmates and is instead entranced with the beauty of the world both natural and manmade. She's perfectly happy to just behold a magnificent artifact or grand vista, not feeling the same scallywag's impulse to make it her own that drives most pirate crews.

Biography
An Arpeggian native through and through, Amelia has always had a passion for music. Her parents were both accomplished members of the island chain's orchestra, and she spent many a sleepless night dreaming of following in their footsteps. It was only natural, then, that she enrolled in the Arpeggian Academy for the Musical Arts at a young age, training under the best talents that the small community had to offer throughout the whole of her childhood.

Her studies started off rough, but after a handful of months she eventually found her niche within the woodwinds, and once she found a seed to plant, it flourished. Amelia's talent for the bassoon was notable, her progress was steady, and by the time she was approaching her thirteenth birthday, she and some of her classmates were offered a guest position within an upcoming performance. Within the halls of one of Arpeggio's smaller resorts, she played her heart out. The performance was short, only consisting of a single piece in a procession of many by differing groups, but she left satisfied none the less.

In the following year, Amelia continued to practice and perform at as many venues as she could muster, until she eventually drew the attention of a travelling bureaucrat. She and her friends were invited to accompany him as travelling entertainment. He travelled safe routes, he assured them, visiting small islands on political missions to improve relations with the World Government at large. While hesitant, the group eventually decided to accept, leaving their homes in the pursuit of heightening their artform.

The first few months they spent journeying were fine. Pleasant, even. They ate well, performed better, and were able to take in a variety of sights and sounds, but that all came to an end when they were beset by pirates. Their sails burned, their loot was plundered, and ultimately, their vessel sunk.

As far as she knows, Amelia was the only one lucky enough to wash up ashore a nearby, uncharted island.

She spent months there, constantly either on the verge of dying of starvation or dehydration, and it was during that time that she came into the possession of her Devil Fruit ability. Amelia isn't entirely sure when it happened, but she certainly remembers how. Another day spent eating anything she could get her hands on, and then a night spent in agony as a swarm of bizarre insects made her body into their home. It wasn't until she left the island that she learned just what exactly had happened to her.

When she did leave, it was only by chance, her meagre homestead atop the island's shore being spotted by a travelling trading vessel.

It was in her time there that Amelia decided not to return home. She'd been rescued and might have even been able to resume her old life, but her heart was heavy. Her body had been changed, mutated beyond recognition, and more importantly, her friends were dead. She was ashamed. How could she face their families, returning home alone and with nothing but grim news?

She couldn't. At the very least, she would return home with a story of justice in tow, or she wouldn't return home at all.

Description: Amelia's body is infested by a swarm of gory, bee-like creatures. Her flesh serves as their hive, pock-marked by a network of tiny, hexagonal tunnels, and sometimes squirming on close observation. Their relationship is symbiotic, and while she does not strictly act as the 'Queen Bee', she may issue them commands, as it is in the hive's best interest to keep her living and breathing.

Description: The insects that inhabit Amelia's body produce a red, salty honey as a form of sustenance. As with regular honey, it is strongly anti-bacterial and is what protects the hive's various entrances and exits from Amelia's body from microbiotic infection. Unlike regular honey, it also has a mild psychedelic effect. Upon ingestion, it induces fever-like symptoms and muddles the senses, overwhelming the victim with a barrage of sounds-turned-sights, smells-turned-sounds and sights-turned-tastes. Amelia herself is constantly 'ingesting' blood honey, as it is produced within her body and absorbed through her mucous membranes. She's built up a strong resistance to it, but as a result, her senses are more sensitive and she can perceive both scents and sounds.

Description: Amelia ejects a lack cluster of bees from her body, and they swarm towards a single target to encage it with their own bodies. Once the target is enclosed, they will begin to vibrate their wings rapidly, generating heat and beginning to cook the target alive.

Description: Any blood may be used in the production of Blood Honey, not just Amelia's own, and as such any enemy can be made into a prospective pollen bed. By willing the Queen Bee, which resides within Amelia's eyesocket, to release a specific pheromone, the swarm is excited into a feeding frenzy, leaving Amelia's body in search of their sweet, red nectar. She has little fine control over them in this state beyond directing them towards a target, the wounds of which they will invade and expand, seeking to return home with a great bounty.

Description: Usually, Amelia's bees are hesitant to sting. Much like their natural cousins, they can only do so once and will die not long after. However, in defence of the Queen, they will do so without hesitation. As with Harvest, Amelia excites the Queen to emit a pheromone, this one convincing the rest of the hive that she is in dire danger, and swelling them into a rampage. She has even less control over this than Harvest, often suffering stings herself by blood-addled bees who attack the first thing they see.

Description: A technique that requires Amelia to impress as much of her will as she can muster onto a small collection of bees. Sacrifice sends out a suicidal command to her bees, causing a handful of them to bathe themselves in honey, and then seek out the mouth of Amelia's enemy. Then, they will essentially force-feed themselves to the victim, dosing them with a substantial amount of Amelia's Blood Honey and subjecting them to its effects.

Description: Amelia does not like to treat her instrument as a weapon, but when push comes to shove she has developed certain means to employ it. By surrounding her bassoon with a cluster of carefully arranged bees, she alters its pitch, frequency and volume. This allows her to produces ultrasonic vibrations which, while unnoticeable to the naked ear, cause induce nausea and dizziness in the bodies of any who hear it. These effects are felt more strongly by those with heightened hearing, such as those under the effects of Amelia's Blood Honey. Amelia herself has to muffle the noise as it enters her own ears, by surrounding them with bees and having them beat their wings at an opposing frequency.

Quirks
On account of the literal holes riddling it, Amelia's body is very bad at maintaining heat. She dresses quite heavily to combat this, even in hotter conditions.

Francis is an expert in hand to hand martial arts, usually spending most of his time meditating (When he’s not trying to peep that is). He may not seem like it, but if anybody he cares about is in danger, he will attack the threat without hesitation. In his spare time, Francis likes to draw and paint (Although even he admits he’s not the greatest at it) As a creative outlet on his path to inner peace.

Biography
Born Into the Contour family, Francis began his life of studying martial arts at an early age of 5 years old. Over time, he grew an affection to his teacher Najina Shouto, studying close to her and following in her every footstep. Eventually, he found a way to fight on his own, by channeling his anger into the power of his blows. 10 Years pass, and all seems well enough until the day a pirate ship arrived, As to who these pirates were, Francis did not bother to remember; Thankfully, they were not here to pillage nor plunder, but sell and trade “How odd.” Francis thought as he stood from the steps of the Bishawii temple. Days pass by and finally, it was time for the pirates to go. They bid their farewells, and headed off into the sea once more. As the crowd began to disperse, Francis Looked to his feet and noticed an oddly shaped fruit. Taking it into the temple with him, he brought it to his teacher, to which she informed him the dangerous power of such a thing.

Later that night, as Francis began to finish up his daily cleaning of the temple, curiosity got the better of him; He found the fruit hidden away deep in the temples shrine, he inspected it for the longest time before finally, He took a bite. “Ugh, this is worse than my cooking..” he groaned aloud to himself. Afterwards, he decided to go to sleep, a feeling of shame washing over him.

The next day, when he and Najina were sparring in the early morning, he unawaringly blew a gust of wind so powerful that it crushed the ribs of his instructor. As Francis quickly brought najina quickly back inside of the temple, he quickly confessed in his misdeed in eating the devil fruit, his eyes filled with tears. Najina placed a hand on Francis cheek and wiped a tear away “Do not weep for my loss child...consider this...the next lesson...on the journey to...enlightenment...” And Finally, Najina Shouto Took her last breath.

After many years had passed, Francis had learned to better use this newfound power of his, Meditating and training to have his fists become so powerful that they are able to break wood. Eventually, word got around that a pirate crew in Helmouth Island was recruiting, seeing this as an opportunity to continue down the path that he sought, he embarked onward to the island on a traveling pirate ship, paying them with whatever he had left to take him to the Island.

Personality
Indigo despite being a thief is surprisingly loud and carefree. He is friendly to almost anybody he meets. This can sometimes include even enemies. Many would describe him as air-headed however he can at times be quite smart and cunning, leading others to wonder if it’s all just an act. When asked about his eyepatch you will seldom get a straight answer. Despite being so welcoming to others, the way he talks and navigates conversation is blunt, sometimes bordering on rude. Living his life on the run has taught him that having friends all over is a good thing and is willing to listen to others as a way to build trust. But unless Indigo trusts you with his life, you will never hear a word about his past.

Biography
Indigo has no clue who his parents are, he doesn’t know their names, their age, or what they look like. What he does know is that they are for sure dead. Death from overwork in the holy land of Mariejois, home to the Celestial Dragons. Made a slave from birth, Indigo was branded with the sign all slaves are given, the foot of the dragon, over his left eye. For years Indigo worked as a slave, enduring the beatings and the hard labor forced upon him. When he was 17, the revolutionary army made an attack on Mariejois and freed several slaves, one of which included Indigo.

The revolutionary army led the slaves out of the grand line, as far away they could from the holy land. Many of the slaves joined the revolutionary army, but not Indigo, he decided that since he was now free, he’d be living life how he wanted. The army respected his decision and let him go free, with a few supplies and an eye patch to cover the brand. He would later choose his first name after his favorite color, and his last name after a man that gave him a free meal.

After some time, he very quickly ran out of money. He had worked his entire life serving others and Indigo had no intention of doing it again, even if he was getting paid to do it. Thus the life of thievery was chosen and at first he was awful at it. Making noise and laughing whenever he got close to stealing something. But as time went on and as he picked up the skills of lockpicking and pickpocketing. Slowly but surely thievery was becoming a lucrative career for Indigo. But thievery and money was simply a means to an end to attain his dream of true freedom.

Cavaliere Island:
An island that houses an abandoned castle at the peak of its highest mountain. Sailors still remember a time when the island was still populated by its own people, ruled by a monarchy. Stories of the royal family were many, some calling them tyrants and despots, but most tell of just and fair rulers. Whatever and whoever they may have been, it is all lost in ashes, for it is told that one day, some years ago, the king released a number of ships into the wide blue sea, telling his people to leave the island, and to forget that they had ever lived here. The island would be destroyed that night, razed to the ground in its entirety. The king and his royal family was said to have remained on the island, and perished with it, leaving no heirs, and should there even be any, there was nothing left to return to. Historians sifted through records and even the ashes, trying to piece together what the island had once been, but to no avail. It was almost as if saboteurs had combed through the historic world, destroying what could be known of the island. To this day, historians still debate if the destruction of Cavaliere Island was perpetrated by pirates, the law, someone within, or a combination thereof. The truth will never be found, as the people that once lived there will die with their secrets.

Character Strengths:
Tzofiya is plenty friendly and warm, and quite the learned conversationalist, having dabbled in many topics outside of her own expertise.
She is a particular supportive member of the crew, and is always willing to lend a listening ear.
Despite her reservations, she isn’t so petty enough to disregard others in need, even if she really hates their guts.
Tzofiya is as fit as a fiddle, and rarely gets sick. She claims to have a stomach of steel, too. Due to certain psychological quirks, she still comes off as weaker than Cayden though.

Character Flaws:
She holds onto grudges tighter than Cayden does, and is much more petty than he is.
Following the above, it can be attributed to the fact that Tzofiya doesn’t express her anger as openly as Cayden does, and lets her anger fester.
Her existence alone can cripple the crew in terms of combat strength, as while Cayden is want to do battle and has the ability to do so, Tzofiya is untested in combat, and would more likely flee than put up a genuine fight.
It’s not always apparent whether she or Cayden is in control at the moment. Though neither really mind being addressed wrongly, it is quite disconcerting to adapt to whoever is currently inhabiting the body.

Personality
The ‘princess’ to Cayden’s ‘knight’. Tzofiya is the supposed intellectual of the pair, but she seems to be more of the ‘kooky researcher’ type. Simply bursting with energy, Tzofiya goes through her daily life with vim and vigor. She exhibits fascination at the capabilities of others, whether it be physical or mental ability, and only has the utmost respect for masters of their respective craft. She, herself, is intent on mapping the Undersea, and will let nothing, especially not her ‘disability’, stop her.

This Tzofiya, it must be noted, is not the ‘true’ Tzofiya, and is, rather, simply one extreme facet of the real one. She represents the real Tzofiya’s take on the world, seeing unexplored corners of the world, undrawn upon canvases, as a fog she must clear from her mind, and that the world should benefit from discovery, rather than just a select few people. She had often wanted to be more open to the world, and to be less like a regent to take the throne. With that wrested away from her, she finally found freedom, and this Tzofiya relishes in it.

Biography
In a small home at Santa Reno Island, a week’s boat ride from Cavaliere Island, Tzofiya awoke from a nightmare, a nightmare that saw her home being attacked by unknown forces, and her parents and their faithful holding the castle together as she was dragged away by her servants. She remembered the smell of burning, of crumbling concrete, of her father’s back as he led the charge against the invading forces. Then she woke up to the faces of her worried servants. They looked worriedly at her, and their expression turned serious as she tried to smile and reassure them that she was fine. When they asked what she remembered of the fateful night and of their journey to Santa Reno, she had laughed, and told them she was out cold for the most part...right?

Years passed. Through them all, Tzofiya tried to bid her servants goodbye, but they would have none of it for these years, continuing to raise her as their own child, and to teach her as she was taught before the tragedy. It was as if nothing had changed. Though they worried for her, she simply told them that whoever she was whenever she wasn’t Tzofiya, they were to treat her the same. Tzofiya trusted that, whoever this Cayden personality was, as he told the servants to call him, he would take good care of their body when he was around.

Tzofiya wasn’t particularly interested in the art of combat herself, finding a certain distaste at the idea. Though she thought it annoying that Cayden had kept their spadroons around, and that they were often cared for, she didn’t much care to interfere with whatever he was doing. After all, he was building up their body for them. Let him do all the hard work then. She, on the other hand, was going to keep pursuing her studies.

One year ago, Cayden and Tzofiya communicated through notes, planning to take their craft to the seas, rather than to stay here at Santa Reno forever. Tzofiya’s studies in cartography had found some maps wanting, almost as if some people were hoarding their knowledge for themselves. She wanted to fill the libraries with maps of seas and worlds beyond. If not for the world, then for herself. There was just much more of the world to see and scribble down. Cayden had his own reasons, but either way, both agreed on their plan, and once they were able to, they bade goodbye to their old friends, and set off on their own journeys.

MiscQuirks:
She has quite the appetite, and when she eats, she usually consumes a lot of food. She shares this trait with Cayden.
She is tone deaf, and while she can somewhat appreciate music, she can't hold a note to save her life, with an instrument or her voice.

He’s hard working. You’d be hard pressed to find a person who trains as extensively as he does, especially to maintain his muscled physique.
Cayden is extremely hard to put down by way of sheer determination. Nothing short of taxing himself to the point of physical exhaustion can keep him out of a fight.
Though prickly and cold, Cayden still has a heart, as much as he wants to deny that fact. While he has no reservations about hurting feelings, he does have something against hurting people.

Character Flaws:
Cayden is a stick in the mud. While he doesn’t hate fun, he extols the virtues of doing a job well, perhaps a little too much.
He’s blunt and combative, to put it simply, and, as mentioned, doesn’t really care if he hurts others’ feelings.
He doesn’t share Tzofiya’s experiences, and, as such, is less learned and able in doing her duties than she is. Due to this, whenever he is in control, the ship essentially loses a cartographer. He can still make rather clumsy sketches and notes, however, and lets Tzofiya fill in the details later.

Personality
The ‘knight’ to Tzofiya’s ‘princess’. Cold, aloof, and unfriendly, Cayden is a consummate professional, and is around to serve as muscle, nothing more. Just as his counterpart, he pursues perfection in his craft, but with his swords. Having been raised as a princess knight, the way of Cavaliere’s swords remained with him, while the intellectual studies went to Tzofiya. He hones his art, striving to prove to not the world, but to himself, that the Cavaliere art was not dead, even if its people may be. As a knight, he holds his swords to protect those under his charge, and will throw himself into the fray to do just that, come what may. Though his oppressive behaviour may seem otherwise, chivalry is not dead to Cayden.

Cayden, it must be noted, is what the original Tzofiya behaved more akin to. Like Tzofiya, the personality, he is simply an extreme facet of the true Tzofiya’s mentalities. She was quiet, reserved, and kept to herself, most of the time, but would express herself openly whenever she was slighted. She held her family’s values of protecting the people close to her heart, and this was what probably manifested Cayden in the first place- a personality to protect others, including herself.

Biography
In the dust of the Cavaliere Castle, a girl cries to the many stars above her, screaming questions at what cruel gods look down on her, wondering why her family deserved such an unjust punishment. Why, she didn’t know. Who, she didn’t know either. One thing was for sure, however, Cavaliere was dead, and so will she be, if she didn’t get off the island post-haste. With her swords, and a Devil Fruit that her father had passed to her to keep safe, she rallied the remaining survivors. Alongside a handful of servants and soldiers, she attacked a lone ship that remained at the harbor, and took control of it, and sailed them away from the devastation. The survivors with her noted that this was no longer the princess they knew. There was no more reassurance behind her face, no more smiles, no matter how wan they used to be.

The girl awoke one day, and her demeanour surprised his servants. Confused, she queried on their bemusement. Though they hesitated to tell her the truth, she pressed them on it. She had fallen asleep for what felt like a day, and yet, they were surprised when she awoke. Why was that so? Unable to lie to their liege, her servants told her of her other personality, of one who did not seem to carry the pain as she did. Understanding this, the girl told them to not see them as one person, then, if that would help. From this day forth, he would be known as Cayden Cavaliere, and she as Tzofiya Cavaliere. Treat each of them as they were their own individuals, and do not worry for him or her.

Cayden had not much interest in studies, and whenever he was in control, he honed his body, taking extra pains to map out healthy diets and exercise plans. The strangest part of it all was that whenever his body ached from the exercise, Tzofiya would never be the one who took over. It was aggravating, but at least he was the one in control of the exercise, he supposed. She would threaten to ruin his hard work with what she ate all the time. He sought out mercenary work in the meantime, most of which simply consisted of kicking in doors and beating up thieves, bandits, and wannabe pirates, but occasionally played handyman and did some heavy lifting. Eventually, however, this got dull.

One year ago, Cayden and Tzofiya communicated through notes, planning to take their craft to the seas, rather than to stay here at Santa Reno forever. Cayden was bored of seeing the same faces that he had to thrash every other week or two, and he swore that some of them were actually beginning to enjoy having him come in to give them a good tussle. Cayden wanted to get stronger, and staying in Santa Reno was not a place to do just that. He had to go elsewhere, to become stronger. Tzofiya had her own reasons, but either way, both agreed on their plan, and once they were able to, they bade goodbye to their old friends and, to Cayden, old enemies, and set off on their own journeys.

-Logistical Expert from his years of service in the Marines and working as a smuggler before that time when the Marines press ganged him into service.
-Master Strategist who was on his way to a major promotion within the Marines before his falling out with his corrupt superior and witnessing the flaws of some outlooks on Justice.
-Extremely Patient born from years of smuggling and outsmarting Marines until he was finally caught. He then put this to good use in dealing with his assignments as an officer and crewman within the Marines.
-Excellent Negotiator born from his smuggling years and getting the best provisions for any Marine group he was assigned to either as its quartermaster or ranking officer. He loves a good bargain.

Character Flaws:
-Once angry, can lose himself to an almost berserk rage when his mask of serenity breaks.
-PIcks fights with Marines, mainly those abusing their power but generally despises the whole institution after seeing innocents suffer or corruption covered up.
-From his Marine days, favors suits and refuses generally to don disguises if only out of a matter of pride.
-Hates having his suits ruined, this is the most likely reason to trigger one of his rage fits.

Personality
Silas Fang is a generally calm and calculating figure, seeking to keep things peaceful amongst his crewmates. He can seem a little cold but will never turn his back on an ally or friend when they are in need of help. It is only when something happens to break the veneer of calm that the more savage and dark side of his personality can emerge. Silas can turn into a monstrous berserker if pushed far enough. He generally won’t stop until the source of his rage has been properly pounded on or he’s been rendered unconscious. Punching out his target can also end the rage if only because he has no reason to target a helpless figure.

Biography
Silas Fang grew up in Loguetown and like many was caught up in the tails of Gold Roger. He though ended up getting more into the business of smuggling goods rather than piracy. After all, pirates paid good money for supplies and hard to get items often enough. Unfortunately someone talked amongst his clients because the Marines soon enough sprang upon his business and dismantled it. Facing prison time, Silas talked his way out of it by offering his mastery of logistics to the Marines.

The following years were spent training as a Marine while surprisingly enjoying his work. He climbed the ranks before colliding with the corrupt Commodore Frances Stahl. Stahl tried to use his logistical expertise in manners he did not approve of. Commodore Stahl even ignored the need of people in his operations area at times, or flat out seized their supplies for his own uses or personal profit. Before he could report Stahl, Silas was framed for all the actions that had taken place and sentenced to a new prison sentence.

Silas, having long realized things might go south, fled after stealing the latest illegal item the Commodore had been seeking, a special Zoan devil fruit. He wasn’t sure what it really was, but Silas elected to spite the Commodore by eating it. Since then, he’s developed a reputation for himself that his nickname comes from due to his favored style of dress and behavior outside of his moments that his rage is unleashed.

Towerfordd Island: Towerfordd island is relatively small, but plays home to a massive population, with most of the lower classes forced to live on wooden docks and wharves that extend out from the natural land, which plays home to wealthy merchants and aristocrats. Towerfordd is both an industrial power and a bustling centre of trade, with thousands of ships passing through and offloading their cargoes and taking on new wares every day. The top merchant houses of Towerfordd are incredibly wealthy and influential and several of them were instrumental in the formation of the Undersea Trading company and now hold positions on its board, the UTC's home office is also located in Towerfordd.

Adventurous: After an early life of suppressing her wanderlust Sora is ready to go places no-one else has ever been, no matter how dangerous.
Nurturing: A habitual older sister, Sora has a knack for bringing out the best in people, seeking out their talents and supporting their passions
Resourceful: The poor in Towerfordd get by on the scraps and refuse of their betters, recycling and reinventing with what little they have. To care for her younger siblings Sora became proficient in this art and rather creative as a result.

Character Flaws:
Reckless: Sora's whole life was always her family and friends, now that she is free to also pursue her dreams her personal safety and wellbeing are a very distant third priority and she often puts herself in danger.
Stubborn: Having put her dreams on hold for so long, Sora refuses to be turned away from them anymore, even if would be the sensible thing to do.
soft-hearted: Despite her dream of being a pirate captain, Sora is pretty far from a ruthless scourge of the sea, she can't resist stopping to help people in a bind or righting wrongs

Personality
Sora is an odd mix of extremely practical and an unrelenting dreamer. She's very good at focusing on the problem at hand and taking care of people's needs, there's a part of her that's always stuck in big sister mode, trying to organize and support the people around her and taking care of the little, sensible things that need taking care of. But deep down Sora's heart has always been full grandiose visions of conquering the vast and unexplored reaches of the world. Now that Sora has finally been able to get a taste of adventure she's a bit addicted, she'll never drag along anyone who doesn't want to come or hurt anyone innocent but otherwise, come hell or high water she's getting her exploration on damn it!

Biography
Sora was born on the island of Towerfordd, the eldest child in a sprawling, impoverished family. Sora's father had been a pirate for a time, but had to return to the island when he was seriously ill, after which he found it near impossible to work, forcing Sora's mother to support them all on her meagre salary. While Sora's father could do little to provide for his family's material needs, he nourished their hearts with tales of adventure and daring on the High seas which enraptured the children and brought joy to their otherwise humble existence. As Sora grew older and her Father's condition worsened, she stepped to to take more and more responsibility for her younger siblings, handling most of the chores and child care so that her Mother could work and her Father could save his energy for fighting off his illness. Sora grew quickly into her role, mastering the basics of cooking, cleaning and repair to keep the families' few possessions in working order and when she was old enough she started working as well to bring in some extra money. But deep down, Sora dreamed of something more, of sailing and the sea and freedom! But it was not to be just yet.

Sora eventually found work as a low level clerk for one of the merchant houses that would become part of the Undersea Trading Company. it was repetitive work that paid little but it was the only job she qualified for that let her leave early enough to care for her siblings. Besides that, working for a merchant house might eventually allow her to apply for a transfer somewhere more exciting. It wouldn't exactly be the highseas adventure she had dreamed of as a child but it was something to hope for, maybe when the other children were a little older and their Father's condition evened out a bit. But that was not to be just yet either.

Instead of improving, Sora's Father grew sicker and sicker until eventually he had to be moved to a hospital, forcing Sora and her Mother to work extra shifts to cover the bills. There was talk of an experimental treatment that might help his condition but the cost was well out of reach of the struggling family, all they could afford was to extend his life. During this challenging period Sora was asked by her manager one day to make a delivery; the owner of the merchant house had ordered a certain package and he needed someone reliable to take it from the docks up to the warehouse, a short trip but an important one. Sora had meant to be careful, truly but she had also been tired from working extra shifts and the cobblestone roads were uneven. Eventually Sora tripped and fell and the package split open to reveal its contents. Sora recognized it for what it was from her Father's stories: a devil fruit! Mystical! Powerful! Immensely Valuable! This was it! The doctors that served Towerfordd's lower classes often accepted payment in services or barter, the devil fruit would pay for her father's treatment and then some and their doctor was a shady fellow with rumoured connections to some of the local gangs, he'd be able to sell on the fruit easily enough.

Sora raced to the hospital as fast as she could but she was too later, her father had passed away in his sleep, leaving behind only a handwritten note begging his children to "follow their dreams". The family slowly recovered from their loss, never fully but enough to carry on, they still had each other after all. Sora tried to sell the fruit to provide for them, but it had already been reported missing along with her, making it too hot to move on the black market and she was nearly arrested the few times she tried. Eventually her family had enough, they were sick of Sora putting everyone ahead of herself. "eat the daman thing" they told her "then leave, chase your dream"

Sora wanted to argue with them but deep down she knew they were right. She could hardly get her old job back anyway so she wasn't of much use anyway, she'd just attract trouble to them as the robbed merchant hounded Towerfordd for his missing fruit. She'd have to leave anyway, it might as well be on her own terms. Sora left that night, stowed away on a cargo ship where she was able to hide herself away with her new found abilities over locks. Sora would bounce around the East blue for a few years after that, sometime stowing away, sometimes working on crews, it was fun for a while but now that her spirit of adventure had been awakened it wasn't enough. She needed something new, someplace no one else had ever been before...

Sheri doesn’t really have any skills that could help on a ship besides her freakish strength, and even then she is loath to use it and it would probably be more trouble than its worth.

Character Strengths:
Possibly blind optimism: A world view formed from fictional adventure novels leads to the belief that there is no issue that can't be overcome!
Patience: Due to a life spent sitting still to not break anything, Sheri is incredibly patient.
Intimidation: Super superhuman strength is scary to the average person.
Terraforming: Moving and breaking obstacles is no trouble!
Arts and Craft: Being able to bend metal with your bare hands does have its uses.
Good Natured: Sheri has yet to be stripped of the innocence of childhood, making her kind and empathetic. Although depending on what she is exposed to, this might change.

Character Flaws:
Clumsy: Due in part to her incredible strength, she has a habit of breaking things around her. She can’t even open a door without crushing the handle or tearing it off its hinges.
Uneducated: Her parents tried to seclude her from the world, causing her to lack real-world experience. Because of this, she is quite gullible and easy to manipulate.
Fear of her own power: It takes a lot to get her to willingly use her strength, even in a serious situation.
Can't Run: Due to her immense strength, if she tries to run the floor underneath her generally breaks, or she ends up embedding her legs in the ground. Additionally, she always tries to move carefully to avoid breaking anything.
Reckless: Having never truly felt in danger before, Sheri underestimates the dangers of the outside world.

Biography
Sheri was born with incredible, superhuman strength. However, she has never seen this ability as a blessing, but rather as a curse. Trying to live as a regular person whilst having the strength to lift a house proved impossible, especially with the fact that she doesn’t have the superhuman finesse needed to control this strength. Her youth was rife with accidentally destroying everything she touched, be it plates, doors, trees, walls or even entire houses. One day a young boy tried to hold her hand, and she accidentally crushed it. This experience was traumatic for her, and for her parents. Her parents proceeded to isolate her from the village and attempted to prevent her ever using her strength in fear of her someday hurting someone. Because of this, she grew up with little contact with the world, her only solace being adventure stories her parents would read to her.

Eventually, she reached adulthood, and her parents realised they couldn’t keep her contained anymore. She had to find her own place in the world. So with tears in their eyes, they gave her a small rowing boat stacked with supplies and wished her goodbye, hoping she could find a place in the world where her strength wouldn’t be a curse. With little knowledge of the outside world except what she’d read in fictional adventure books, she decided to become an adventurer and accidentally became a pirate.

Personality
Who she is as a person has very much been shaped by her unnatural strength. Being someone born with incredible power but not control, she has developed a fear of her own strength stemming from her inherently kind nature. There is only two directions for someone born with this sort of strength; wield the power freely and risk becoming a monster, or try and suppress the power and live among others. Sheri is the latter, having no desire to harm or to destroy anything and being an honestly good-natured person. Due to being sheltered her whole life to protect the world from her, she is naive, gullible and easily excited by trivial things.

She is terrified that she will someday hurt someone she cares about.

Karkassonne Island: A out of the way island that seems to be stuck in a bygone age. Firearms and advanced sciences are unknown here and the place gets little in the way of visitors. Ruled by a king and a knightly noble class they have been adamant in their refusal to join the World Government. Without the WG protection however Karkassonne is the frequent target of pirates seeking to ransack the kingdom. So as a result everyone from Karkassonne is very good at fighting and outsiders aren’t welcome.The island has five towns that surround large stone castles. The noble-born and their families live in them along with their servants. Surrounding the towns are miles of farmland where the majority of the common folk work. Beyond the farmland are fields where shepherds bring their flock to graze. Beyond the fields is the wilderness where many a nasty beast lurks. The most dangerous of them are Draks, large lizard like creatures with an appetite for metal. If a Drak consumes enough of a certain kind its skin becomes coated in it.

The last knight of Karkassonne Maximilian does his best to live up to the ideal of being a knight while being a pirate. He will not lie, he will not run from danger and he will never betray a true friend. Considering his captain, his lord and his Crewmates fellow warriors he defends their floating kingdom with his life.Despite their strange ways and sometimes madding action he loves them. Being a stranger to the sea and undersea he’s eager to learn more of the outside world.
Biography
Maximilian was the only son of Lady Jeanne “The Quester” Lyonesse. Years before his birth she’d left Karkassonne in a makeshift raft to explore the outside world. When she returned she was seven months pregnant with Maximilian. Jeanne refused to tell anyone of who his father was and either got sad or angry when it was mentioned. Her father, Duke Richard “The Wyldharted” Lyonesse, was up in arms about her having a child with some unknown foreigner. He demanded that she take up another husband( from a noble family of course) and abandon the child. Jeanne attacked her father over the insane order and their ensuing fight demolished half the Lyonesse estate.
Having been matched in combat by his daughter the duke allowed the unborn Maximilian to live. But Jeanne would still have to take a noble husband. She reluctantly agreed.

When Maximilian was born he was given the epithet “The Bastard'' marking him as fatherless. While noble-born he would never carry the name Lyonesse because of his partly non noble blood. But like all noble children of Karkassonne he was trained as a warrior since he could walk. He was taught alongside his younger half brothers and sisters the children of Sir Louis( a knight under the command of his grandfather) and his mother. While they originally looked up to their older brother, the harsh words of their father towards Maxi poisoned their perception of him.

They would often make him the target of pranks or gang up on him during sparring practice. But, Maxi took it in stride see’s their attacks as tests to improve his skill. His instructors were no better and would often give him more drills and sword practice than his siblings. There were days where he’d swing his sword till his hands bleed. But Maximilian accepted this as well, more training would give him more strength.

When he turned sixteen the day came for Maxi to test for his knighthood. His task could’ve been anything from finding a rare object on Karkasssonne to facing a fully fledged knight in single combat. Instead he was given a task that aspiring squires almost never complete. He was to head to the depths of the wilderness and bring back the skin of a Drak. Duke Richard was the last to do so in recent memory and it nearly cost him his life. But Maxi headed for the wilderness without a second thought!

Journeyed deep into the forest and bogs of the Karkassonne wilderness for two weeks until he found his prey. It was an elder Drak, Twice the size of horse and covered in Iron scales. The two ironclad warriors clashed and while the young squire landed many a great blow he barely harmed the beast. Exhausted but still willing to fight he charged the Drak to land one final blow on it. He sword scraped against a nearby rock with so much friction it caught fire! The heat of his blade coupled with the desperate strength broke the creatures scales and severed its head!

Maximilian skinned the Drak using its own claws and took its ironhide back to lyonesse lands. His family was impressed to say the least. Pretty much everyone besides his mother expected him to die or return empty handed. He was granted Knighthood, the Drak’s skin which was made into a set of armor and was given a new title. No longer was he Maximilian the Bastard he was now Maximilian the Drakskinned! For a year Maximilian served as a knight under Duke Richard defending the coasts of Lyonesse lands from pirates.

He’d been able to drive many of them off with his strength and the help of his sword siblings. But, there soon came a day when both would fail. The ships of the Yonkou known as “The Conqueror '' beached on the shores of all of Karkassonne fiefs and gave an ultimatum. Surrender or be destroyed. The people of Karkassonne answered with sword and spear. They fought like demons but died like any other mortal. Maximilian would’ve gone to the front lines to die with his fellow knight’s if his mother hadn't knocked him unconscious and set him a drift on a dinghy. Since then Maximilian has wandered the ocean, looking for mates to fight with and a captain to serve. But, he also seeks the strength to defeat the conqueror.

It has a very dry climate with little rainfall but still it seems to thrive under the leadership of Nefertari Cobra, especially after the previous warlord Crocodile was removed for trying to overthrow him.

Personality
Penelope is often a two sided coin that is impossible to tell which side it's about to land on. On one side she tends to be generally be a sweetheart who loves baking and having people try her food. Someone who would be the first to stick up for something of someone they care about; while at the same time maintaining her ladylike manners that she's perfected over the years. She's a girly-girl at heart after all who loves pink and fluffy dresses.
But on the other side she is impossibly stubborn and hard headed, as well as ready to thrown down at any possible moment. She has a hot temper and often times doesn't know her own strength which can be a devastating mix for those who might leave a mess in her kitchen. All in all she is definitely someone who you'd rather not get on the bad side of, and instead have them as an ally so you may experience her sweet side more times than not.

Biography
The true origin of Penelope's birth is unknown, which includes, her birth island, her birth parents and even whatever her last name should've been. You see when she was just a baby she was dropped off at a place simply named the drop off. This place is located in one of the most remote areas of the Alabasta desert. It is a place that functions similar to an orphanage except no child is really ever adopted.
This is where Penelope grew up among the other abandoned children. It wasn't that bad in actuality though, the nice older lady who ran it made sure they were fed and periodically they got new books or magazines from the more populated areas of the country. Penelope even had a best friend, named Telone whom she'd stay up all night with, talking about the fancy clothes and foods they'd read about that someday they'd get to try.
It went on like this until she was about twelve, and that's when it got much much worse. The land was thrust into a drought which the older lady who cared for them said was the worst since she was a little girl and with this their usual delivery of goods was cut off as well as any hope they had of growing food themselves. The older woman and the other kids began dropping like flies, some from starvation but most from simple dehydration. In the it was just her and Telone who was on his last legs.
He asked her to promise him she'd survive and live their dream for the both of them. Penelope had to do things she'd not proud of to survive but in the end she made it to the next major city and began pursuing their dream of being gourmets.

Misc-Early on in her adventure she caught a ride on a marine vessel, offering to bake dessert for them on the journey. However quite a few of them ended up being very rude to both her and their normal kitchen staff so she intentionally gave them all food poisoning before taking a dingy for herself.
- She has a special harness she wears that's specifically made to hold her giant fork and spoon in an X shape on her back.

Quirks
-Doesn't really like her freckles and hopes with less sunlight they'll fade away.
- Hates vegetables and will often serve them to the crew but forgo eating them herself.

Silverion Straits:
A twisting channel surrounded on both sides by sparsely populated islands, the Silverion Straits are home to an indigenous species of fungus that grows on the islands' various rock formations and cliffsides. Though soft to the touch, the fungus bears a characteristic silver lustre, giving the rocks it coats an illusion of sterling silver. Though the first colonists were sorely disappointed after learning the truth, the 'Silverion' moniker still stuck.

In recent times however, the Silverion fungus was discovered by islanders to have potent aging properties. When chemically processed, the fungus could age and food and alcohol at vastly accelerated rates, leading to a boom in the straits' alcohol industry. While the straits have seen increased business and commerce, the properties of the fungus remain a closely guarded secret.

Character Strengths:
Standing over three meters tall, Karl's imposing figure is accompanied with appropriately prodigous stregth and endurance.
In addition to brewing, Karl is an expert in the storage and preservation of food and drink.
Intensely focused, he can dedicate himself to a task of his choosing for days on end.
Surly demeanour aside, Karl is a (mostly) tolerant and patient man. He might not be very verbose, but he'll always be there if you need a wall-shaped listener to air your problems to.

Character Flaws:
Years of experimenting with Silverion fungus have prematurely aged parts of his body, his graying blonde hair the most obvious.
Huffing alcoholic fumes isn't great for the body and years of doing so have turned him into a pseudo-workaholic on top of regular ol' alcoholism.
Having spent most of his life dedicated to his craft, Karl is somewhat lacking in book-smarts and has piss poor awareness of current affairs.
While normally patient off-duty, he has a hair-trigger temper that rears its ugly head during matters of work or warfare.

Personality
As stiff as his brews and twice as intense, Karl is a brusque, no-nonsense man on a mission of inebriation. Most of his time is spent pursuing his passion of honing his alcoholic concoctions, either through tweaking his recipes or experimenting with new chemical agents and additives. His mouth obscuring beard and the wrinkles on his face of a man twice his age also do little to temper his image as a crotchety senior citizen, but he cares little about the opinion of others on matters unrelated to his alcohol. After all he'd much rather they spend their time and mouth-energy on gulping down his brews instead.

Off the job, a rare occurence in itself, is when Karl allows himself to mellow somewhat, often sprawling himself out on deck and taking in the sights and sounds around him. Though still the untalkative sort, he's more open to company and conversation when they aren't getting in the way of his work. He'd never admit it but he's often quickly emotionally invested in the lives of his fellow crewmates, displaying an uncharacteristic interest in gossip or discussions of love, whether it be familial, platonic or romantic.

Biography

Born the only son to a pair of chemists, Karl has been surrounded by bubbling beakers and flasks of highly suspect liquids all his life. Spearheaders of the rapid development of Silverion Strait's alcohol industry, his parents were the ones who first discovered the aging properties of the native fungus. Within months, the Brauer family home was transformed into a bona-fide islandwide brewery. Naturally, Karl was one of the first employees of the Brauer's burgeoning business, starting off as a barrel-maker and general manual labourer, before being allowed to help with the actual brewing processes once the company expanded sufficiently to begin hiring.

Given the task of broadening the varieties of Brauer-made alcohol, Karl poured his time into developing experimental brews and distillations. Using all manner of local flora and fauna, he sought to evolve alcohol beyond its simple ethanoic 'Aqua Vitae' form. Successfully developing a new form of base alcohol would be a feat that would forever change alcohol as people knew it. After exhaustively experimenting with every known local species, Karl turned his sights towards the great blue and set off for foreign islands.

His efforts however, were to no avail. Years went by, and although Karl had greatly expanded his own repertoire of booze, he'd failed to make any progress towards his ultimate goal. Though the Brauer family business saw significant commercial success despite this, his parents had fallen into a lifestyle of stagnancy and excess as a result. Seeing little point in their son's continued ventures, they cut promptly ceased their funding, and instructed their son to abandon his search and return home.

Undeterred and disgusted with his parents newfound sloth, Karl promptly ignored his orders to return. Now peniless and with no place to return to, he sought out the company kindred spirits, namely pirates and vagrants. Flitting about from crew to crew, Karl learned of the ever increasing pirate interest in the Undersea, a place teeming with all manner of unknown marine life and vegetation. Knowing at last where his next destination would be, Karl eagerly set off, keen to discover what lay in store for him.

Description: A sweeping barrage of hooks launched in succession whilst Karl advances forward using the momentum of each swing and the full weight of his body. A crude but effective technique, it relies on Karl varying the angles and force of each strike in order to remain unpredictable and unopposed.
