Afternoon RPN! It's little ol' me here again, looking to start some 1x1 roleplays with people.
I'm pretty sure you've all seen these 10,000 times so, let's get on with it shall we?
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME;

— 21 year old roleplayer named Ilya.
— Nonbinary.
— 4+ Years of RP Experience.
— Questionable amounts of free time but definitively able to respond at least once a week.
— Flexible Length, so long as it isn't a oneliner. I write as much as I'm given, typically.

I'm looking to start some 1x1 roleplays with people! I'm looking for fandomless roleplays, with some level of world-building and plotting required. My genre interests range from fantasy to sci-fi or even crime mysteries so there isn't a lot I'll decline (aside from Zombies,just nope). I'm LGBT+ friendly and write males, females, and nonbinary characters.
FAVOURITE GENRES:
Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Period-esque/Historical, Supernatural (Theme, not the show), Urban Magic, Mystery, Crime, Adventure, Mythology, and Horror.
( I also love drama, angst, platonic or romantic fluff, conspiracies, and character growth )
CURRENT IDEAS/INTERESTS:

Medieval Nonsense, Fantasy or Otherwise;
— Dragons. Anything with dragons. I would not decline at all. Shapeshifters that go from dragon to man? Dragonriders? Etc? Yes.
— Political/Arranged Marriage.
**BE WILLING TO PLOT AND MAKE IT MORE THAN JUST THAT, THOUGH.
— Knight x Royal.
— 'A Traitor to the Crown is actually a hero' type of situation.
Modern Nonsense, Fantasy or Otherwise;
— Superheroes. Just, give me something with superheroes whether it be adult heroes or a school for heroes in training. Superpowers man, I need.
— Modern Fantasy; Witches running stores, Werewolves as Club Bouncers, etc. etc.
— Cop x Mafia Leader (Undercover Cop?)
— Reincarnated Gods in a Modern Scape

— Abusive relationships of any kind are not permitted.
— Character relationships =/= our own relationship.
— Patience for responses is a must. That being said, at let me know if you're busy/what your posting schedule is usually like and I'll be content.
— Life and mental health come first. Always.
— Basic roleplay rules (No godmodding, no metagaming, etc) apply.
— If you're demanding a romantic relationship right off the bat, I'm probably not the right partner for you. Romance needs a proper build-up for me.
— Help lead the roleplay. Be an active participant. I don't want to do everything.

King Chevalier of the Eastern Kingdom was a benevolent man, charitable to his people and forgiving to those who scorned the name of the crown. However, such was not the manner he carried himself in his youth. He was once an ambitious, ruthless leader who grew his empire from practically nothing through conquest and bloodshed. Though many have made peace with his past because of what he did with his future, others were not so forgiving. The Kingdom to the west, led by one of his oldest enemies, seeks to start war with Chevalier's kingdom. However, they themselves do not have the means to destroy the empire. Instead, they've conspired with the dark forces to the south, demonic beings with a thirst for blood and power limited only by the sigils burned into the ground that keep them from crossing into other territories. Foreseeing the end of days through the ambitions of the Western Kingdom, the Queen and Oracle of the East ordered her son and a trusted companion to prevent the deal from being made. A group any larger would surely alert the Western Kingdom to the forces seeking to stop them. She only hoped that two lone souls could prevent a horrible fate from befalling not only her people, but all the free peoples in their land.

A School for the Gifted has opened in New York City, its students consisting only of those formally invited to attend the school. It is a prestigious academy for those born with special talents - powers, some might call them. However, while on the outside the school appears to be training a new generation of the elite to lead the nation into prosperity, the reality is far less innocent. Experimentation and brainwashing are commonplace in the school, all conducted in the basement laboratory. The food, air ventilation, and water are all plagued with various chemicals to keep the students nonethewiser to the reality of the school - that it was not a house of academia at all but rather a nesting ground to build soldiers of a new breed. A new wave of students will be attending that year, but of the group, alongside their sparkling invitation to the School of the Gifted, a cryptic note was also sent to two of the students' homes. 'Beware.' It read. 'All is not as it seems.' Will they become privy to what the school really is, or will they also become unwitting participants to an experiment to create the perfect soldier?
