One and Only

Kaliyah followed her husband and smiled as she saw the baby was okay. Relieved, she sat down and stretched her tired muscles. "Where's Sabra?" She asked suddenly.

Sabra lay down beside Aiden and leaned her head against his chest, completely unaware of what was going on bak home.

Roderick spun on his heel. He ran through the house, yelling hid babygirl's name. When it was evident she was not there, he sunk to his knees. "No...god, no..."

Aiden kissed the top of her head. It was nice to just lie with his fiancee.

Kaliyah rushed after him, worry seeping into her very being. Maybe she was down at Apolline's? Perhaps with Aiden? Aiden... "Rodrick... Let's go down to Aiden's. She may be there."

Sabra soon fell into a light sleep, her arm wrapped around his chest and her head buried in it.

Roderick looked at his wife. He nodded. "Bring Alfie...I don't want to leave him alone." He ran out the door, kicking up dirt behind him.

Aiden looked up at the stars, smiling as he connected constellation after constellation.

Kaliyah nodded and held her son close before following suit.

Sabra mumbled something incoherent in her sleep, cuddling closer to Aiden's chest.

Roderick knocked loudly on the boy's family's door. "Sabra?" He called.

Aiden gently untangled from her and sat up, preparing the boat to go back. Then he turned back to her. Leaning close, he kissed down her neck, fingers unbottoning the back of her dress.

Kaliyah stood anxiously as they answered, saying neither Sabra nor Aiden were home. His father suddenly beamed, "But you never know what young fiancés will be off doing." Kaliyah's head shot up.

Sabra grinned and lifted herself so the dress would come off easier. She leaned forward and slid her bands beneath his shirt.

Roderick was confused. "Fiances? I'm sorry, I don't understand..." he said, hands clenching.

Aiden kissed her, only leaving to let her lift his shirt off.

FADE TO BLACK

"Aiden proposed..." His father continued. Kaliyah held Alistar tightly.

Sabra caught her breath before sitting up and glanced over at Aiden. "Shall we be off then?"

Roderick cursed. He thanked his daughters father in law and turned on his heel. He knew exactly where they would be.

Aiden nodded. "I got everything ready, already." He stood, holding his hand out to her.
