One and Only

Roderick growled. "She is not going back there. Not now, not ever. Her place is right here. Next to me." He didn't want to mention his children, afraid to put them in harms way. "I left that life. It doesn't fit to my life anymore. I got what I was looking for. Please...just let me be." He asked. "We used to be friends." He addef, searching the other mans face, even as he blocked Kali from his view.

Aiden pulled her into his lap. He slid the ring on before pulling her into a desperate kiss. "Gods, I love you..." hos arousal poked thighs.

Dustin laughed. "She's a princess, Rodrick. The only heir to that throne. Do you think they're going to let some man just take that away?" He said lowly.

Sabra giggled and kissed him back, her hand running through his blonde hair. "I love you too," she whispered.

Roderick growled. "She is my wife. She willingly left that life. They have no right to take a woman from her husband. That's kidnapping." He said, closingbthe door behind him as he steeped out onto the porch. Kaliyah didn't need to hear this, especially so soon after giving birth.

"And now you're mine forever... your father won't hurt me, right?" Aiden chuckled, nervously. His hands gripped her hips tightly.

Dustin stares coldly at Rodrick. "You're still an assassin whether you like it or not. It was your mission to kill her, and you failed." He got in his face, hazel eyes blazing. "You're a disgrace."

Sabra chuckled and shook her head. "He won't, I promise," she said reassuringly before leaning down to kiss his lips gently.

"I'm not anymore. Haven't been for nearly 15 years. And yes I failed. My employer was the disgrace, wanting to kill his Princess. In a sense, I did kill her. I took her away frpm a lifeshe hated. She isn't the refined little puppet she was. In all senses, she is dead." Roderick said, pushing forward just as much as the other man. His hand flew up to fist in Dustins collar. "Now I'll ask you once more. Leave us be."

Aiden kissed her back. "Good. I should get home...my mother will worry..." he said, glancing out the window. He pulled Sabra on top of him, hand running up her sides, following her curves. He gently brushed over her breasts. "Unless you'd like me to stay..." he grinned wolfishly.

"Even if I leave, they're always watching you. You maybe killed the princess, but Kaliyah is alive and the kingdom needs their ruler. Now, if you refuse," he pushed Rodrick back, pinning him against the house. "I have orders to kill her myself."

Sabra shivered and her eyes went wide as his hands explored her body. "Whatever you want but... But... I would be terribly lonely..." She whispered, kissing his jaw teasingly.

Roderick shoved him back, quickly landing a hard right hook to his jaw. "You won't touch my wife. My famiky is protected till my last breath. And if I go down...you sure as hell are coming with me." He growled, doing a spinning kick to get him off his porch.

Aiden grinned. "Can't have my future wife getting lonley..."

FADE TO BLACK

Dustin brought his hand up to his now bruised jaw and stared hard at Rodrick. As the other man kicked, Dustin jumped backward, barely missing the impact. "I always was more skilled than you, Rodrick." He snarled because leaping forward and pulling out a dagger, aiming at his throat.

Sabra breathed heavily and lay back, eyes closed. She was even more sore now, but it was worth it. "That was amazing, but no more tonight or I'm going to be sore for months."

Roderick dodged the blade, smiling cruelly. He bent and ripped a floor board from the railing. He swung it at the back of Dustins head. "You only thought that. I made more kills in a day than you did in a week."

Aiden smilled, pulling her close. He kissed the back of her neck. "Goodnight my dove."

Dustin gasped as the board came in contact with the back of his skull. He stood a moment, dazed, but quickly recovered. He'd endured worst. "At least I actually completely my assignments." He growled, stepping backward.

Sabra soon fell asleep, her eyes closing peacefully and her breathing slowing. It was so comfortable beside him that it was hard not to.

Roderick sighed in irritation. "Look Dustin. I'll offer you triple what your employer is offering. Just leave us alone. I heard Trevor has some new jobs." He said, still holding the board just in case.

Aiden woke up in the middle of the night. Carefully, he got up from the bed, sliiping on his pants.

Dustin grinned. "This isn't about the money. But I'll leave you alone, for now." He stated before turning to leave. "I was just warning you. Be careful, watch your back Rodrick."

Sabra woke in the morning, turning to kiss Aiden only to find him gone. He just of slipped away in the night so his mom didn't worry. Smiling, the girl got out from under the blanket and dresses herself.

Roderick scowled and went inside, locking the door. "Kali! Love!"

Aiden woke up in his own bed, a smile still on his face. He got up and went down stairs. He was met withh cheers from his family.

Kaliyah was shaking scared as she rushed to Rodrick, wrapping her arms around him. She has tears in her eyes. "I heard all of it," she whispered.

Sabra changed into a soft pink dress and went downstairs to see Alistar.

Roderick hugged her close. "I promise. I will protect my family...we have to go back. Make sure they are alright. Come, pack." He said, kissing her forehead. His eyes were scared. He knew Dustin would follow through with his threats.

Aiden knocked on the front door, acting as if he had just gotten there.

Kaliyah nodded, a bit sad they had to leave, but Rodrick was correct. They had to keep their family safe. Dustin seemed like a terribly scary character, and she was nearly shaking as she began to pack up her belongings.

Sabra frowned thoughtfully and went to open the door. It was Aiden. "Hello!" She said, grabbing hold of his hand and pulling the two of them outside.

Roderick was putside, saddling up the hourses. He paused, breathing hard. Bending down, he snatched up a big rock. With all his might, he hurled it into the ocean, letting loose a heartbroken scream. He knees buckled and he fell to the sand, sobbing openly.

Aiden smiled and bent in for a kiss. "Hello darling. Sorry about the disappearance this morning." He tucked her hand into the crook of his arm, so that she was close against him.

Kaliyah came outside holding her and Rodrick's bags of possessions. She saw her husband sobbing on his knees, clearly distressed. She dropped the bags by the horses and rushed over to him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and holding him close.

Sabra returned the kiss and added an extra one to his nose. "I understand, it's alright!" She replied, a smile lighting up her face. "So what's on the agenda today?" She asked him.

"Everything was going so well..." he gasped between sobs. He curled in on himself, not really noting the arms that held him.

Aiden shrugged. "Whatever you want, little dove."

Kaliyah rubbed his arms gently and smiled gently. "It'll be okay, I promise. We will protect them."

Sabra wrapped her arms around his middle and grinned. "I thought we were leaving to go somehwere?"

He nodded and leaned into her, burying his face in her bosom. "Lets go home."

Aiden grinned, scooping her up. "Oh, you mean the island?" He nipped her jaw.

Kaliyah nodded her agreement and helped her husband to his feet. It was a long ride, and they would need to head out now. After he was standing, she moved to mount her horse, holding the reins of his so that his stallion was still.

Sabra laughed and nodded excitedly. "Pretty please? I would adore that!" She exclaimed, turning to kiss his cheek.

Roderick mounted his horse. Clicking his tongue, he set off at a run. He had to get home. Now.

Aiden carried her to where his little sailboat was moored, helping her in before untying from the dock and setting off.

Kaliyah followed suit, urging her mare forward with the heel of her boot. The horse eagerly set off in a full gallop, trying to catch up to the faster stallion.

Sabra grinned delightedly and leaned against the side of the boat, closing her eyes to take in the fresh air of the sea.

Roderick reached the house first. He swung off his horse and ran inside, straight up stairs. He got to Alistair's room first and picked him up gently.

Aiden laid the blanket out on the sandy beach of the islandx inviting Sabra to sit with him.
