One and Only

He furrowed his brow. "Missed what?" He asked, plscing one hand on her hip to bring her closer.

((Skip a few months forward? Baby is just born, and Sabra is entering a formal courtship?)

"You," Kaliyah breathed, her eyes settling onto his.

(Sure!)

Kaliyah held her son in her hands. He was born but a week ago. The little guy was asleep and his mother rocked gently back and forth.

Sabra was at Apolline's trying on a few dresses that she had insisted on making for Sabra. They were beautiful things that helped give her a distraction from her new sibling at home.

Roderick peeked in. "Is he asleep?" He whispered, a goofy smile on his face.

Aiden entered his aunt's friend's shop. "Hi Apolline, I ju-" he cut off when he saw Sabra in one of the dresses. His jaw dropped. "Wow..." He blinked.

Kaliyah nodded, gesturing with her finger that he stay quiet. She wasn't prepared for him to wake yet. Truth be told, she was exhausted lately and it would only worsen as he grew.

Sabra jumped as she heard Aiden speak. She blushed deeply and averted her green eyes to the floor. "I wouldn't say wow... I mean, it's a beautiful dress but it's not wow on me," she said quietly.

Roderick nodded, tiptoeine in. He lowered himself gently onto the bed, putting an arm around her shoulders. He kissed her temple. "He's beautiful, Princessa..."

"It looks beautiful on you, love. Truly!" The blond complemented. He walked over to her and pressedkisses to the tips of her dainty fingers. He smiled up at her. "And how is my girl today?"

Kaliyah beamed over at her husband, nodding her agreement. The boy woke, but silently. He reached forward, pressing his small hand against Rodrick's cheek.

"Quite well, actually. And you?" Sabra replied before stepping down to embrace him. Apolline soon interrupted, eagerness displayed in her eyes.

"If you thought that was pretty, wait till you see the next one," she exclaimed, shooing Sabra to the back to try on the next one.

Roderick smiled and took Alistar's hand, letting the baby wrap his tiny hand around his finger. "Hey buddy. Daddy is so happy you're here!" He whispered. He pressed a kiss to the small hand.

Aiden grinned. "Just fine love. All the better for seeing you. Go on and show me the next one, little dove." He took a seat on the bench, excited to see the next dress. Within the few months that he had known her, he had fallen hard and fast for her. Only a week ago, he had announced his formal courtship intent to Lord Mathews, who had given his reluctant consent.

Alistar cooed and wriggled his hand excitedly. Kaliyah laughed gently. The baby reached up at her, hungry. She brought him to her chest and let him feed.

Sabra came out wearing a black, somewhat shortened dress with a cutout above her chest and the small of her back. It had black lace running down the sides giving it an elegant look. The girl blushed madly.

Roderick pressed a kiss to Kali's temple. "My beautiful family...only one girl missing." He looked up to the door, as if expecting his daughter to walk through.

Aiden grinned, nodding. He moved closer, wtapping his arms around her waist. His fingers brushed against her bare back. "I definitely like this one."

Kaliyah laughed gently. "She's at Apolline's trying on dresses. I'm sure she will be home shortly." She said to Rodrick, rubbing his arm reassuringly.

Sabra smiled sweetly and shivered softly at his touch. "You do?" She whispered. Apolline giggled and quickly exited the room to leave the two alone.

He nodded, running his nose down her neck. "I'm just worried that Aiden is with her."

The blond nodded. "Oh yes. It suits you. And lets me touch your soft skin. Easy access." He teased, pecking her forehead.

Kaliyah sighed and turned into Rodrick, kissing his nose gently. "Even if she is, I wouldn't worry about it, alright? He's a fine young man." She whispered, smiling up at her husband. The baby fell back into a soft sleep, his fragile head rolling against her chest.

Sabra giggled and grinned wildly up at Aiden. "Easy access?" She whispered, her hand moving up to run through his blonde hair. "Is that good?"

Roderick frowned and bit his lip. "If you say so. Well...at least Apolline is chaperoning." He smiled at his son. "He'll be a little hellion, warning you now."

Aiden bent to kiss her softly. "Very good, little dove. I can touch you as much as I want. Promise me you'll wear this dress next time I see you?" He nipped at her bottom lip.

Kaliyah laughed softly and stroked her son's sparse hair. "With a father like yourself, I would believe it."

Sabra's blush deepened as he bit her lip. "Anything for you." She said, her voice taking on a smoky tone. She leaned up and kissed him again, a bit longer this time.

(Maybe sometime soon Rodrick can face an old enemy of his from when he was an assassin and a bunch of danger falls on the family?)

((Yeah! You wanna be him?))

Roderick pouted. "I resent that statement, Princessa."

Aiden swallowed harshly. "You're trouble. Go change, I'll walk you home."

(Sure! We'll start that in a few posts :) maybe Rodrick runs into him when Kaliyah and him get away on the vacation thing)

Kaliyah frowned and pecked him on the lips. "You know I love you," she whispered before kissing him deeply. "A lot."

Sabra giggled and went to change. She came back out and laced her fingers with his. "I'll have my maid come pick up the dresses. Thank you so much Apolline!" She exclaimed, hugging the woman before exiting the shop with Aiden.

(Go for it!)

"I know. And you're right. I'll probably let him run around in mud and get grass stains..." he teased, kissing her back. He settled down, gently taking his son from her.

Aiden swung their laced hands as they walked. Occasionally he woul d bring them up to his mouth to lay kisses in her finger tips. He was utterly bespotted and it was easy to see. "I was wondering if you'd like to go on a sail boat trip with me. To that little island off shore. Just a day trip." He smiled nervously.

Kaliyah laughed and helped transfer their son to him. She stood, stretched, and walked over toward the mirror. Already she was losing the baby weight and it was feeling great.

Sabra smiled. "Oh, that sounds great!" She exclaimed excitedly. "Perhaps we could go when my parents go on their trip. They leave in two days." She stopped walking and wrapped her arms around his middle, beaming up at him.

"You look just as good as the day I married you." He said, watching her as he rocked Alistar.

Aiden kissed her nose. "You minx! Do you plan to tell them at all?" He asked, hands running down her back, dangerously low.

Kaliyah blushed and cast a smile over at her husband before moving toward their dresser. "Well thank you. I try." She replied before selecting a simple white dress. She slid out of her current clothing and into the new piece.

Sabra shook her head, her smile turning into a mischievous grin. "I wasn't planning on it. They'll be gone a few days, actually." She ran a hand through his hair once more, loving his touch so low on her back.

Roderick chuckled. "Perhaps less humble though." He teased, setting the sleeping baby down.

Aiden laughed. "I might just take you for a few days then. Or perhaps I'll come over. Unchaporoned!" He said, tilting his head down so her nails scratched his scalp teasingly.

Kaliyah pouted at Rodrick, putting a hand on her hip. "If so, that is entirely your doing." She responded with a gentle laugh.

Sabra smirked and kissed along his jaw a second. "Either works for me." She whispered softly, her voice catching in her throat.

He came up to her, lifting her until she was sat on the vanity. The bottles rattled gently as her weight settled on the wooden furniture. "And how is that? Enlighten me, love." He asked, caging her in.

Aiden's breath hitched. "You are going to get me into so much trouble, little dove..." he gently pulled away from her. "We should go before your father comes after me. I promise, once you're parents leave...you're wish is my command."

Kaliyah gasped as he placed her onto the vanity. She wrapped her arms around his neck loosely, grinning at him. "If you hadn't so openly adored me, then perhaps I wouldn't think so highly of myself," she responded softly.

Sabra laughed and tugged on his hand. "I should hope so." She replied with a giggle. She leaned against him as they walked, ocassionally running a hand over his chest to tease him.

He kept his hands on her waist. "But how could I not? I adore you too much to keep it hidden. Plus, as my Princessa, you deserve to be showered in adoration!" He nosed at her jaw, kissing it lightly.

Aiden smiled at her, moving his arm around her waist as they walked. "I know it might be too early...you don't have to say anything, I just want you to know, I love you." He kissed her lightly and opened her front door for her.
