Once upon a time...

...I decided to join a roleplaying forum and start off with making my very own introduction thread! Huzzah!


I've been an RPer for about 6-8 years now approximately, and while I've spent most of that time dabbling in MMO RP, I can no longer afford to contribute time or money to maintain a presence in an online game - so I instead decided to go back to my roots: Forum RP!

• I consider myself an average writer, at best, and thus veer more towards Detailed RPs, although I don't mind Casual RPs either! When it comes to themes, I'm a sucker for Fantasy ( particularly Game of Thrones-y realistic fantasies! ), though usually I don't have a set preference. If the concept behind the RP is unique and clever, then it won't take long for me to get hooked!
  
• When it comes to my characters, I predominantly roleplay male characters - starting off with a basic concept and then working my way up to a fully fledged character, often with some humour/comic relief associated to them! We can't all play the broody, stone-faced hero, can we?
  
• IRL, I'm a university student with a passion for reading and writing. I love languages, particularly learning new ones, and I've got aspirations to become a journalist later in my career.

I would love a Game of Thrones style fantasy RP! Let's all kill each other mwahaha! I am sure your writing style is much better than you think as well. I am also a sucker for roleplaying as a guy, although sometimes I will write a female character - I don't know, I just like being in a dude's brain I guess!.

Whoopsydaisy, didn't expect a reply so soon when I headed on over to bed right after making the post!


I played Final Fantasy 14 for a spell, as I absolutely adored it; but it takes quite a lot of time to reach the max level ( if you can only spare 1-2 hours a day to play it, that is! ).


Thanks for the offer of help, for the record! I'm still in my first year, so any help given is appreciated. ^^ Likewise, if you'd like to RP or just have a chitchat, feel free me to poke me via PM or otherwise!

I was also playing Final Fantasy 14, I haven't re-subbed for ages. I got tired of the endless grinding, and well - I too didn't have a lot of time to spare daily and sometimes I'd just burn myself out trying to catch up level/gear/story wise to the rest of my Free Company.


First year? Make sure you have lots of fun! Don't stress out too much about grades as 2nd and 3rd years are way more important. Make all the mistakes in your first year but definitely learn from them too. Awww I loved Uni I'd love to go back and do it again!
