✯ Raccoon Catcher ✯
Eleanor Barnes
Aliases: ManicPhoenix, Phoenix
Birthday: February 14, 1994 (21 Years Old)
Video Content: Let's Plays, Vlogs, Original Music
Subscribers: 9,412
Personality: Eleanor tends to think that she and ManicPhoenix are two different people. Eleanor is quiet and keeps to herself. Phoenix is outgoing, loud, and silly. As much as Eleanor would like to be Phoenix in her everyday life, it's something that comes as a challenge for her. But Eleanor was always a quiet person. Or at least, she thought she was until she became Phoenix.
Phoenix gave Eleanor a chance to start out with a clean slate. Phoenix started out as a vlogger but then evolved into a gaming channel as Eleanor discovered her passion. She had a chance to meet people with the same passion. Although Phoenix has helped Eleanor become a little more outgoing, she still generally keeps to herself.
Eleanor avoids conflict as best as she can. She much rather defend a friend than defend herself.
Although she has a generally positive outlook, just as everyone else does, she can have her bad days. Despite coming across as awkward and introverted, Eleanor becomes an entirely different person after she gets to know someone. On occasion, she can channel her "inner Phoenix" and put on her internet persona to come across as more excitable, energetic, and sociable.
Background: Eleanor grew up in an environment that wasn't exactly conducive to being original. Most girls were far too focused are looking like celebrities to even think for themselves. Pop culture never really interested Eleanor so she was often isolated for being "uncool." Even her parents suggested that she just tried to fit in. Eleanor's escape was the internet. Whether she was playing games or watching videos, she felt far better sitting in front of her computer than socializing with most people from her school.
Her parents were often concerned because of this and would confiscate her laptop. Eleanor was never really a defiant person but she certainly wanted to show her parents that her passion could become a career. At eighteen, Eleanor moved out and bought her own equipment. She started recording her first vlog that day. By the end of the week, she had over 500 subscribers. Her subscriber count has steadily risen since then but not high enough to the point where making video could be her only income. Eleanor currently juggles her waitressing job and YouTube to find enough money to survive and follow her passion
