- i'd prefer to write onsite at this time, but i'm down to chat ooc over discord.
- threads > pms (apparently private threads are a thing so )

- someone who also has a passion for writing and storytelling
- someone who's patient and agrees that real-life comes first
- story-wise, i want lots of characters and a variety of themes to explore! i love romance, but i don't want the story to just focus on characters falling in love. i want platonic and complicated relationships, too!

- a/b/o, omegaverse, whatever it is.
- OCs that are described in terms of 'dom/sub'.

all these plot blurbs are pretty bare bones because i prefer to work out details and specific character dynamics together. feel free to suggest any twists, or even share some
of your own plots and ideas!
The world is coming to an end. So where would you rather die? Here? Or in a Jaeger?
this is inspired by the pacific rim series! i love the idea of mechas fighting big monsters and exploring the drift compatibility system between pilots. for anyone unfamiliar with the series, it takes two individuals to (safely) pilot the mechs and they need to be "drift compatible" (a phenomenon that isn't predetermined by whatever relationship does or does not currently exist between two people). while piloting the mech, both individuals minds are synced, meaning they're able to access each other's thoughts, feelings, and memories. so there's a battlefield within the mech as well as outside of it and the potential is endless!
here's some ideas we can build off of:
- half of a famous pilot duo died a year or two before the start of the story. the one remaining has insisted on "piloting solo" which has taken an immense toll on them over the years, leaving them a shell of their former self. one day, an outsider (maybe they're an outlaw) is brought in because an algorithm determined them to be drift compatible with the remaining pilot.
- two rivals at a military academy are confirmed as drift compatible
- two pilots each lose their respective partners in a major battle and are forced to drift together when only one of their mechs remains functional
- bonus points if these two have some...unresolved feelings and issues.
- feel free to suggest your own ideas! c:
very loosely based off the webtoon "freaking romance".
character a is struggling to figure out their life and decides to take a big chance and risk by moving to a new city. they're forced to rent out a cruddy apartment and lo and behold...life still sucks. but one day an interdimensional rift appears in their bedroom and they meet character b, who is living a completely different (and arguably better life). but there's more to character b than meets the eye and whenever the two of them make physical contact, they vanish from each other's worlds.
is it possible to fall in love without being allowed to touch?this one is based off of the game with the same name. please give it a chance if you haven't played the game yet! it's made by the same developer as life is strange and features a trans protagonist.
basically i'm thinking that character a grew up in a very old-fashioned family and struggled with their identity and sexuality growing up. they left the small town they grew up in the first chance they got and cut ties with everyone they knew while they spent the next several years figuring themselves out. at the start of the story, character a– who is now fully transitioned– is forced to return home where they discover that the best friend they left behind, character b, has also underwent a lot of changes over the year. the story will center on them getting to know one another again as they work through the issues that brought character a back in the first place. i'm down to throw in some murder/supernatural elements to spice things up as well!based on adam silvera's novel they both die at the end. you don't need to have read the novel, but please hmu if you'd like to cry about it together. i personally will never fully recover.
in this world, an organization known as death-cast calls people to inform them of their impending deaths (typically the day of/before, though for the story's purpose i'm fine with stretching it out to a week/ten days) and allow them the time to tie up any loose ends before they die. an app known as 'last friend' exists for deckers (people who have been informed of their nearing demise) to connect with fellow deckers or non-deckers with their own reasons for being on the app (some altruistic, some not so much). organizations and certain privileges exist for deckers to utilize throughout their 'end days', such as make-a-moment, a center that provides an assortment of exciting activities like skydiving, rock-climbing, etc. a travel arena also exists to allow deckers and their last friend(s) to experience traveling the world in 80 minutes.
overall, this is definitely more of a short-term, angst-ridden, and unforgivingly painful story. i admit that i'm a masochist for even wanting to write it, but i know i can't be the only one. i'm totally flexible with gender pairings here and am also fine with adding onto the premise- provided the main idea remains intact. both our characters could be deckers or one could be a non-decker, let's have fun with this! hell, if we end up falling in love with the characters then i'm down to throw them into a happier au afterwards, i just need the hurts first--i'm looking for something loosely based on the bridgerton series. think historical romance centered around london's nobility and gentry. with all the drama, political intrigue, scandals, and romance. i want lavish parties and balls, family rivalries, love triangles, fake dating, banter, gossip, the whole shebang. and while i'm not a huge stickler about historical accuracy, i would like for there to be some believability.
i believe this sort of story would work best with a slightly larger cast, so i'd really love to build a world full of posh british nobles with someone that also shares my taste in, ahem, tea~
rivals to lovers? friends to lovers? strangers fake-dating? give me your ideas!!
one idea i have involves a pair of gays posing as a straight couple to get society off their back but in the process they're forced to deal with the drama and misunderstandings that come with their decision.based on the webtoon subzero. basically there's two kingdoms that have been feuding against each other for generations: the crimson dragon kingdom and the azure dragon kingdom. only those of royal blood are gifted the power of dragons, which enables them to shape-shift into dragons. for reasons we can determine ourselves, the heir to the azure kingdom's throne has lost their ability to connect with their clan's dragon and is unable to shift. both kingdoms decide to end the war by joining kingdoms through an arranged marriage. the azure royal is forced to move into the crimson kingdom.
definitely brewing up some enemies-to-lovers vibes here! i love the idea of the two royals being forced to rely on each other as they navigate through politics and issues that run even deeper than their families' grudges. i'm slightly leaning on the role of the crimson noble here but i can go either way~
and here are some very loose concepts i'm interested in writing/exploring:
- “i could fix them but honestly whatever the hell is wrong with them is way funnier”
- any cliche romcom/kdrama plot. hit me with some unapologetic romantic cheesiness.
- something spooky/supernatural (vampires maybe?)
- space academy/travel shenanigans! i have a gdoc with some character notes~
- a hero's tragic descent into villainy and the villain that changed them
- best friends to lovers but one of them is destined to kill the other
- two characters trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world (zombie apocalypse? robot apocalypse? who knows!)
- i'd really love to write an arranged marriage plot with an elf princess
- modern day greek mythology
