Old to RP, New to RPN

Hey yall. Been RPing for 15 years or more, but new here. Not SUPER used to forum RP (most of the forum RP I've done has been on Gaia... which was a bit of a nightmare for me, to be honest) but I need to get back into it, as I now have a full-time job which takes place almost entirely during peak RP hours, and I can't use chat programs of any kind while at work. Funny enough, forums are okay, and I do have some downtime at work.

I know all RP sites have a different culture. Curious what'll be different here. Still, I'm hopeful, because the site seems active!
 
Welcome to RPN!! I am the Mechanist! The hero of the commonwealth and of RPN!! There are Tons of RP's to join, and even more people to RP with, myself included ^D^ We've got all kinds ranging from modern to medieval to futuristic. I myself am prone to fantasy, medieval or futuristic rp's, and I am a sucker for romance and a good love story. Trust me when I say we almost have it all!! Feel free to help yourself to the cookies and punch at the table.

Welp, I'm really pleased with how active it is. XD Don't quite understand a lot of it yet but... it's already met the "not a ghost town" criterium!
 
Ghost town, never.. Zombie town.. ughh do you like zombies cause a lot of people I meet here are dead.. or at the very least are heart-less and soul-less but very very nice... so yes you might want to watch out for that. J
