Old Emoticons

Is there a way to use the old emoticons still?

You can manually do them by clicking the emoticon icon and scrolling down. There is also a way to do it by typing something in. But it's a hassle either way. Like, you can't just do the smiley icon on your keyboard and have the old ones pop up.
