One Time Luck
Hey everyone. Early 20s female here looking for someone to role-play and create interesting narratives with. I love writing, world-building, characters with flaws and stories of retribution - but I have been struggling to write lately, and have always enjoyed role-playing, so here I am. I enjoy journalism, poetry and psychology - all of which I think influence my writing!
So I am really quite open to hearing any potential partner's ideas, but here's what I'm intrigued by (personally!):
Now, replies:
I generally aim to reply a few times a week but this depends on flow and whatever we think works for our roleplay. I tend to dip in and out of the forums but I'll always try and keep checked-in either way, as I often have a lot going on during the week. The shorter the replies, obviously the quicker we'll do our exchanges! I tend to stick within 500-1,000 words but could be more or less depending on what we're role-playing and where we're at. I try and keep things pretty straight-forward, so no pressure, just keep me in the loop and I will do the same!
What I'm looking for:

- Exploring close platonic or familial relationships within a larger story
- Psychological thrillers
- Futuristic dystopian
- Historical (but I would absolutely have to do research as I know I am terrible at historical recollection. So I'd tread carefully here.)
- Time Travel (I've had a romance plot in my mind with this but I haven't really fleshed it out.)
- Crime/Noir
- Feel-good Adventure(?)
- Slice of Life (If the plot has a high emotional drive or gritty themes, I'm all for it!)
- School-based roleplays
- Anime
- Canon/Fandom
- Cyberpunk/Steampunk
- Chicklit
- Non-literate
- Plots that don't have much else going on but romance/love triangles

What I'm looking for:
- Preferably someone who is 20+ and wants to do a literate role-play and explore different themes (wholesome, gritty, complicated - the list goes on). If you're a history nerd and can get me to do something historical, that is a bonus!
- Someone who is open to feedback or getting feedback. I haven't roleplayed in a long time and experience writer's block very often, so I would love to take the opportunity to get better and improve with someone that also wants to improve and is willing to give constructive criticism.
- Fun! Since this is more casual (no real commitment long-term, although by now I am very aware this entire post sounds not-so-casual...) I am more than happy to scrap or re-work things if a plot is getting dry. Maybe we can try a few things and see what works!
- To get to know my role-play partner(s) OOC! Role-playing is always more fun for me this way.
