margeaux’s personality has two very distinct sides to it. on the one hand, she can be quite straight-laced. wanting to be the best is one thing, but everyone expecting you to be the best adds a special kind of weight to a person’s shoulders, and that’s the kind of burden that mj bears. with so many eyes on her, she has a reputation to uphold, whether that be being a good student or having the best outfit in the room. with so much stress, mj struggles to stay afloat. despite her friendly disposition and outgoing personality, she often comes across as cold and distant in an attempt to avoid snapping at the closest bystander. “i’m fine,” she’d lie if anyone were to ask. “just tired.” in reality, she cares all too much what people think of her. sometimes, of course, this can be good when it comes to putting in the extra study hours to do well on a test, but other times, it’s nothing more than a nagging in the back of her mind. along with this desire to be at the top, mj subconsciously projects these expectations onto other people. in group settings, she likes to take control because she feels she knows best. when things don’t go according to plan, however, it causes quite the setback because while she appreciates organization, she’s not very adaptable and it takes a while to accommodate an unforeseen bump in the road.​

on the flip side, mj can be quite the party animal. when she lets loose, she really lets go. is it an unhealthy escapism coping mechanism? absolutely, but that knowledge has yet to stop her from having a good time. as a lightweight, it doesn’t take much to get her blackout drunk, but it’s something she does regularly because, let’s be honest, there’s nothing like a system full of alcohol to help take your mind off of pressing responsibilities. once past that point, there’s no telling what margeaux will do. confident and daring, there’s nothing that she won’t try at least once, and she’s never one to back down from a challenge. this just goes to show that if she wants to, margeaux can be quite the reckless individual after hours, and it’s only a matter of time before her bad habits bleed over into her day-to-day persona.​

Who knew what was in that water, anyway? But that's Cameron, always overthinking instead of just living in the moment. When her brother dropped out of high school and left home, the pressure just dropped down even more on Cameron's shoulders. When she wasn't home, she was at the library, chugging a 24oz coffee while flipping through some large tomb. She grows impatient easily, especially when people are trying to distract her. She has a desperate need to be the best, a control streak a mile wide and can dig her heels in the mud better than anyone. But on the opposite side of that coin, she puts her all into everything she does and doesn't like to lie or be someone people can't trust.

personality — past daddy’s money, fancy clothes, and expensive jewelry, there’s a personality that money couldn’t buy. though the stereotype of her being a rich girl, mean and ruthless, she is actually quite the contrary. though she isn’t quite the charitable type, she’s extremely loyal when it comes to her friends and family. you’d think that she was a total regina george, but really she’s more of a cady heron who just does her best to fit in. with a high status and money that could buy the whole school if she wanted, she actually experiences a lot of loneliness when it comes to her friends. this puts a halt on her at home life, where she’s usually in her room, laying in bed, and either watching netflix or scrolling through instagram.

a very humorous, fake smiled girl is what is seen at school. she keeps it that way because who really wants to see a sad rich girl whining about how her life isn’t perfect. that wouldn’t be taken well by anyone. so she plays her act and wears her mask. but at home when the sun goes down, a couple cigarettes are lit and a bottle lays with half a handle left, as she stares out into the night just wanting to experience a real love.

don’t get her twisted though. if you do happen to double cross her, she has a nasty vengeance streak, and her father will hear about it. and with his high status and knowing everyone in the city, you wouldn’t want to. she comes with a lot of baggage, and is an extreme emotional rollercoaster who actually goes bat shit crazy when she’s upset, so that’s another vice of hers.

Personality: Charlie is an adventurer— a curious individual with a desire to experience different environments, broaden his horizons and do things that are out of his comfort zone. This mindset obviously requires constant social interaction, which is not a problem at all for Charlie— a natural people person, his animated attitude, ability to crack a joke at just the right time and intoxicating laugh make for a charm not many can resist. Another important element that contributes to his charm is his realness, Charlie says it as it is and everyone knows they can always count on him to tell them the honest truth.

Despite his open-mindedness toward the world, the world has not always reciprocated this feeling of acceptance. Talking different, dressing different, being different has unfortunately brought a lot of unwanted hatred into Charlie's life. At first the distasteful jokes and harmful comments really got to him, making him spend countless afternoons crying on the phone with his best friend back in London, but over the years he grew one hell of a thick skin. Now? Wielding a bundle of self-confidence and self-worth, not much can bring him down.

No one is without fault however, and Charlie definitely has his flaws. To start, his honesty can be a little too... brutal, sometimes. Truth hurts, and although not intentionally, Charlie has hurt several people in the past for being too honest, much to his disheartenment. His lively personality can also be a little too much to handle sometimes, especially to those who would rather be left alone in their own corner when they're feeling down, which completely opposes Charlie's "sad day" routine— "sleepovers", AKA eating instant noodles and listening to Beyoncé music all night long.

wardrobe ⎯ elton dresses like he's the unofficial 3rd member of buzzfeed unsolved. with grungy colors and way too many layers consisting of hoodies and denim jackets to match, just be glad he chooses to wear muscle tees during the summer to avoid a heat stroke. he comes from an average to slightly below average family so most of his clothes are from thrift shops, and there, you can only be so picky with your fashion sense.

personality ⎯ a socially awkward goblincore man who'd rather play a game of d&d than talk to people about actual college life drama. he's not a huge fan of big crowds, having a weird sixth sense that he almost always knows when a fight is about to go down. even when someone wasn't openly showing it, he usually has a hunch when people are upset and need a talk to get their spirits lifted. his observation skills also work well in noticing the little things people normally overlook, it makes him a wizard in those "where's waldo?" games. is definitely the poster child of "the introvert kid who gets out of his shell when you give the time to know him" and once he finally feels comfortable around someone, he'd trust them with his life. his entire identity is practically built around the essence of trust, with it being his barricade. his trust comes in the form of a dagger, those who wield it can plunge it into his back but until they lose grip, the dagger is still theirs to keep. although his loyalty could be described to be biased and blind, it's the best way for him to show appreciation to the people who stick by his side. to choose the opposing side over a friend's gives elton a bitter taste of shame in his mouth.

there's no trouble in waiting in the eyes of elton, he lives by the guidance counselor level of cheesy quote, "good things come to those who wait". throughout his entire life, he has been subjected to delays and sudden changes of schedule, and it never seemed to bother him, the worst reaction you'd get would be a small sigh before he just shrugs the feeling off. this is the same in regards to situations involving people, he would never urge them to skip through details or to hurry in their part of a project. it's never been a problem and he would just tell them to take their time and patiently wait for the result. he believes in trusting the process, progress isn't a straight path after all, if there's a road bump he'd welcome the detour with a smile. this has made him very easy to take advantage of; all his life, elton has always wanted to be part of something, be around people that make him feel like he belongs. is it counter-intuitive for him to bend over backwards for him to get the sense of belonging? yes. but heaven knows he'll do it anyway. the euphoria he gets from receiving praise and validation is what keeps him going, and he'd do almost anything to get positive remarks from people. with expectations leering down at him from professors and classmates alike, he aims to reach them all, even if it'll burn him out in the long run. at the end of the day he wants to be relied on, and to meet others' expectations, he's always going to be the first person to volunteer for extra-credit or pet-sit for someone.

it's very clear that elton is the type of guy to focus on his feelings over anything. emotions were always the achille's heel of elton. it's not relatively a bad thing but when it overcomes all known logic he has, it's like watching a tornado break loose. no matter how much he tries to bottle up his feelings it always builds up to the point where he just breaks. it's a part of him that he tries not to show to the public eye, but he'd be lying if he said that all the splinters he got was from playing his guitar rather than smashing a chair. it's easy for him to be swayed in making decisions solely by how he feels, making him a tad bit impulsive. being guilt-tripped and riled up is a natural occurrence for him unfortunately. he'd describe it to be a hulk attack, his emotions just always managed to get the better of him which would cause him to lash out whenever the pin finally drops. this temper of him manages to get him to talk faster and practically impossible to decipher with his thick northern accent seeming to fuel the fires of his aggression. some could consider this side of him to be a little attractive but then again, they shouldn't be supporting one of his bad qualities.

personality ⎯ your friendly neighborhood himbo who's a sucker for b-list movies and getting into sticky situations— both literally and figuratively. he'll give you a wink and a smile but don't expect anything more than a couple of wild child escapades before he ghosts you, as much as he longs for love and affection, he lacks the commitment to make things work. not to mention he shares the attention span of a goldfish you'd win in the county fair at age five; one second his eyes are on you, the next he's making animals out of the abstract clouds in the sky. there's never a serious nor dull moment when james is around, even at a funeral he'd make a joke and have the audacity to laugh at it, he'd take getting a scolding over any thickening amount of silence. in the face of confrontation, he's quick to change the subject, he hates talking about himself and would much rather live in the moment than dwell on the past. he acts as if he's in a whole other world of his own, head empty and leaping into thrill— although adrenaline is a poor substitute to fill the hollow void his yellow sunshine left. however, to relapse would break his granny's heart (and then his legs after her crying becomes shouting).

he's not the best student but then again, he's not much of a studier and still manages to pass with stock knowledge alone. james is a bit of a jock with his full- ride scholarship for his rugby skills and is definitely the guy to go to when you need to open a pickle jar. besides his popular and almost untouchable aura, he's a chill guy to talk to and is the type to just walk up and randomly strike up a conversation. don't take it personal if he doesn't remember your name though.

but if he does manage to remember your name, then you're a real one and james will have your back always. like a golden retriever, prepare for him to be a little clingy towards his friends and will whine if he's not given attention. not only that but james gets bored extremely easily and is the guy who'd pass notes in class just so he has something to do. he's not much of a fighter but give him a proper motivation to, he knows how to throw down a punch. don't think about messing with him, despite his himbo energy, he's still mr. popular which means he has developed a bit of an ego to him. although he does believe in forgive and forget, don't be surprised if he'd occasionally make people pay if they ever think about talking back to him. it's not anything extreme though, just a few little pranks here and there to set it to them straight. james wears his heart on his sleeve, what more can i say?
