Hey, guys, this is just a thread where you can post any ideas you have for the RP, your character's relationships with others, questions or comments you may have, or if you simply just want to chat with your fellow RPers. howdy!! super excited to start up some plotting
both my gals are open for some plotting, i don't have any specific ideas right now but hit me with them if you do!!

I know we already plotted for Freyja and Kasper, so I'll move on to Genevieve! Kasper would definitely be intrigued by her, because he's for sure never met anyone quite like her, but he's not very outgoing or confident. He'll probably think that she's too smart and ambitious to take notice of someone like him, so he'd let Genevieve make the first move, but he would be open to an acquaintanceship! He's not a very competitive type, so he wouldn't be too worried about fraternizing with an opponent from another school, or anything.

Definitely! Genevieve is pretty competitive and would want to check out the competition. She's super big on trying to read people to find out their strengths/weaknesses so she can use it to her benefit. She'd enjoy having a chat though, she'd probably ask lots of questions about his school and country to broaden her knowledge of magic overseas

Ooh, I don't think Kasper would take too kindly to being interrogated lol. He's not one for conversation much and easily feels overwhelmed by lots of questions, slightly less so if they're not personal questions, but nonetheless. If Genevieve keeps hammering away past the point of small talk, he'll get suspicious of her intentions and shut down completely, since he's not very trusting of strangers.

a z u l a I dunno about Genevieve lol, but Kasper will probably be intimidated by Katia's aggressive, competitive side. He's not very openly expressive of his emotions around people he doesn't know well, so he'll probably try to hide it and just avoid her. But if they have an open disagreement about something, he won't back down so easily, and then I could see things getting ugly between them.

I hate to spring this on all of you so suddenly, but I may have to drop this RP. I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed in trying to complete these sheets. Even more so now that my reserves are gone.

Jannah If that's your final decision, I respect it, but considering that the sign-up thread isn't particularly active right now, I don't think you have to worry about someone else claiming your spots before your forms are complete. The only sections I'd like paragraphs written for are the Appearance, Personality, and Backstory; everything else you can answer more casually.

Aviator Aaah I could see that! She’d totally come off that way and would be super confused as to why Kasper doesn’t like her. She’d see it as some healthy competition or friendly talk and be like ?? Why was that bad lol

I'm just worried about losing my slots. I mean, I barely even started on my second and I needed an ability slot for her. I'm very slow at filling out character sheets, especially when they're as in-depth as these ones.

Jannah Honestly, I don't think you have a whole lot to worry about; there's still two special ability slots open, possibly three if a z u l a chooses not to make Katia a werewolf. That, plus there are a whole lot of open spots on the roster now, since all reservations have expired, not just yours. So there's not a high probability that even if someone else does come along and join the thread they would take your particular spots.

artfvlly I don't think Kasper would dislike her lol... he just needs some time to warm up. He's pretty forgiving, so even if they don't hit it off at first, he'd be willing to give Genevieve a second chance.

Well, I am working on Jae-Hui a bit more. I'm digging into his history now, and oh man. I did not initially envision him as a recovering alcoholic, but here I am...

I should point it out now that most of my characters have quite troubled pasts. Not sure what I'm doing with my champion yet, but I doubt hers will be completely pleasant either.

Haha, I got to writing and it is what came out. It ended up working with what I already had for his past so I left it.

Meanwhile Genevieve would def relate to Gavy a lot, they kinda have similar histories but Gavy's more extreme. Gen might come off kinda insensitive but she would like Gavy a lot and like to have a chat with her

Might change Jae-Hui up a bit to be a student so he can be the Mahoutokoro champion instead of a professor. I was going to make the Uagadou champion, but idk. I'm out of ideas. The one I had requires one of those ability slots and they seem to be filling up pretty fast. At this rate I don't think I can handle doing two apps in this anyway.

RP is not supposed to be stressful and this one is stressing me tf out right now.

Ahhhhh thank you both so much for the love! Gavy is a special gal and will be very excited to meet new people and make new friends! Warning she is likely to become a hugger really quickly, if she finds out someone doesn't like physical signs of affection she will respect that but they will also see her practically vibrating because she wants to hug them so badly, especially if they are a friend hahaha!

Aviator Awwwww a crush plot between Kasper and Gavy would be so cute! I know she will likely love the fact that he also tends to act based on his heart rather than his head, it will make her feel like she has found a kindred spirit for sure! When she sees him brooding she is going to draw little birds on the corners of his notes! She will also never understand how he could dislike the beach but she respects it and knows that she will never convince him to go hurricane surfing with her hahaha! But you had better believe that if he is upset or needs a safe place she will make him the best damn tea party with popcorn and a movie that you have ever seen! I also feel like they will need to take turns holding each other back when telling people off!

artfvlly I love both of your girls sooooooo much! I feel like Gavy will somehow always end up dragging Genevieve on some sort of crazy adventure that she didn't sign up for hahaha! Also, it is likely that if Genevieve accidentally treats Gavy as inferior that Gavy will say something, not to be mean but to make sure Gen realizes what she said might rub others the wrong way, Gavy won't hold a grudge tho. And yeah I could totally see them bonding over their similar histories! I could even see Gavy opening up somewhat about the tortures of the exorcism but not all of what happened to her of course, there is some stuff she will never speak of to anyone. Gavy will also love Freyja and like I said above I could totally see them going on adventures together as well! I feel like these two would hit it off from day one and probably become really close friends! She might be entertained by some of Gavy's studying habits such as how Gavy transforms into different historical figures when studying them because she feels like it allows her to understand them better. If Gavy sees someone betray Freyja she will watch that person like a hawk and not allow them to hurt her friend again even if Freyja has forgiven them! She will do everything she can to protect such a sweet bean while also being a sweet bean herself haha! I just think these two would be great friends and I love your girls so much!

artfvlly Kasper definitely still has leftover feelings for Freyja. Like, he's hurt that she broke up with him, but he would never wish any ill will on her, and he understands why she did it and that it was his fault. At the same time, he'll feel like he's receiving mixed signals from Freyja and will be cordial and friendly around her, but sorta also keep his distance... at least in terms of rekindling anything romantic. He would let her take the initiative with that, if she chooses to. He'll also feel a little unsettled about Freyja knowing about his Legilimency. Not because he doesn't trust her, but because it's his most closely-guarded secret, and he feels guilty about having a curse to constantly overhear others' thoughts and invade their minds unwillingly; using that ability makes him feel monstrous. So knowing that Freyja knows what he can do will make Kasper feel inferior and unworthy of her attention.

Sanctuaryforall1 That image is so cute, I love it!!! Kasper is always baking but feels shy about admitting to it, since he feels like it's not a very masculine activity, but I think he would feel comfortable enough around Gavy to bring her baked goodies. He might even make an exception to his long-standing conviction that chocolate is disgusting and make her some chocolaty desserts lol. He personally doesn't do art because he knows he's not particularly good at drawing or painting, but he enjoys observing it nonetheless, so he would definitely take an interest to find out that Gavy has an artistic flair! I'm also thinking that maybe he and Freyja together could teach Gavy (the only non Nordic among them) how to ice skate? And then maybe Kasper would tease her about not being able to handle the cold, or even knowing what a real cold winter is, for that matter.

Since a z u l a so far hasn't chosen to make Katia a werewolf, there's still two special ability slots open! But if you're just not feeling the muse for a second character, I completely understand. Seeing Jae-Hui as a student would be really cool! Plus then we would have another male champion. I'd be completely fine with you choosing either way.

I just had no idea it would take me this long to make even one character. Sheets usually take me awhile, but this is ridiculous (even more so when a lot of the family's lore I already had developed beforehand). I might just stick to the one.

I have begun edits. It's official. I'm making Jae-Hui Mahoutokoro Champion because I definitely cannot handle the two characters in here right now. It's disappointing, but it is what it is.

Oka,y finally done my app! I just powered through it. It was actually made a bit easier too in that I made him a student instead.

Jannah I don't know if Jae-Hui and Kasper would ever be besties, but I can definitely see potential for at least an acquaintanceship between them! Kasper might think Jae-Hui is a little tedious at first and needs to learn how to have fun and be more spontaneous, so maybe Kasper will try to lure him into a game of ping pong or a walk around the school grounds after curfew. Kasper isn't a very stellar student, so perhaps he'll appeal to Jae-Hui for some tutelage in exchange for free homemade food? Since Jae-Hui also has an interest in art and other creative pursuits, I could see the two of them striking up a conversation around that.
