Well, some exceptions can be made. Like for instance, let’s say the Doctor has none of his technology. But the person playing him wants to keep his sonic device? I’d only allow the thing to unlock doors and scan minerals, but all the other functions shut off. So if you think I should make an exception, give me a ping

And I might through in some growth throughout, lolefinding items or gaining powers through the story

I suspect the intent is that this is going to end up having elements of survival horror, probably in the form of monsters. And it's hard to be worried about survival or be horrified if you have Superman smashing everything to pieces or something. As I understand it, the point of this RP for fandom characters is to see how they engage with a setting that's out of their element, in ways that force them to focus on who they are rather than what they can do. As well as giving natives of the town fun interactions with famous fictional characters.

I'm happy to skip the sonic screwdriver entirely for this game. Makes things more interesting that way. I'd prefer to keep his Time Lord physiology, though, as well as the option to regenerate should it come up. If not, it's all good.
