So, I'm looking to do a mermaid roleplay. I'm willing to further discuss details and such, but here are some of the gists:

• A merfolk is captured at sea and taken to an aquarium, where they're put on display for the public. A new worker at the aquarium finds this inhumane, and so the two plot on a way to free the captive merfolk. (can be changed to a laboratory and scientist)​
• A ship gets hit by a huge storm, and one of their crew members gets knocked off into the ocean. They awake to find themselves in a cave, and a merfolk is tending to them. Will the human stay, or will they convince their savior to take them back to the land? (can be pirates, a normal sailor, or a guest on a cruise ship)​
• Character A has been living in their little shore town since they were a kid. There has always been an air of mystery and legend, but A has never really believed them. They left the town for school, but now they return for the break. One day while walking along the beach, they end up being a real live merperson, Character B. (MANY details can be changed about this)​

I would prefer to play the merfolk, but I am also a-okay with doubling up. I'm fine with romance or platonic, and I am okay with any pairing. I would prefer someone who writes at least one paragraph per reply, since I usually mirror my rp partner, but I understand writer's block or a lull in action during the roleplay.
