Nonsensical as in attacking a monster with 25000 attack power with a 3000 attack power monster when they had 1000 life points left being a tame example. And this was on YGOPRO where most people at least know something about dueling... And it's a simple click interface there, no complicated keys or anything. :p It's like actual Yugioh video games in how simplistic it is to use.

And yep, Alexander was the one 'hiding' nearby and watching the duel.

*_* What? Alright. That takes the cake for odd moves I've heard. Nice though on the simple interface used. The video games were pretty fun and simple for dueling.

And like I said, that was a MINOR example. I've seen some absolutely ridiculously bad moves that made less sense than that one.

And yeah, I'll probably write out the post tomorrow after I've actually had some sleep. Writing with no sleep is not a good idea for me to do if I want to remain coherent. :p

Wow. Seems like that one was simple dueling 101 and the what not to dos. If that's minor then I can't imagine what others could happen.

Some of them were just absolutely ridiculous... To the point where they defied basic logic.

If the site I used can get these episodes to work, am planning on watching the newer eras of Yugioh. It appears the gear looks closer to normal then that image I saw of Arc V's protagonist.

Pot of Greed seems really funny to be banned. XD It just lets you draw two more cards from your deck. Though, I can sort of see why? It could seriously screw over your opponent if you just so happened to get all the right cards or whatever.

To answer your question: Yes you can. You can use cards that appeared in the anime or even the manga as well. Since I think some of the other cards only appeared in the manga? Don't take my word for this, I've never read the Zexal manga before soo... But you can use cards from both if you want?

That's where it gets funnier to me. I saw casual players would see the same as me or us according to this forum with why it was banned. While Tournaments saw the way you mention. But.... Haha

Maybe it's just me the non tournament duelist, but if pot of Greed changes a opponents outcome that much or screws them over. The I would think A( The deck was greatly arranged for that card and B( It's sad that little old Pot of Greed effects someone so badly. It provides a small advantage of cards through advanced drawing but also lowers your deck count at the same time. Which means it could double unless you end the duel before your deck reaches 0. Which I realize is rare but it has a unspoken effect though if used. While unless arranged the two cards drawn would be a gamble, nothing certain for cards drawn otherwise.

Anyways..... Just a opinion. The show used it all the time and my friends and I used one in our decks growing up and three way dueling each other or regular dueling each other. We never had the issue brought up in why this card was banned and we dueled almost every time we hung out. Both competitively and non competitive.

Eh, who really knows dude? I'm sure the people have their reasons for banning the poor card. But you're free to use it in the RP. Because I'm a super nice Kit Kat. XD

That's why most banned cards are banned... Either because of OTKs, being UNBELIEVABLY broken in certain strategies, or being Stratos. No seriously Elemental Hero Stratos isn't broken or anything but it's still banned just because it can search itself. It's not even used for OTKs.
