Well you could. I just figured some characters would find value as the reason for competing in the tourney. (Just thinking on a character level) the more power or value I think has it increases the drive. A normal card for say JK or Gregorious or young brash Ty would be good. But maybe not everyone? Idk. If any of that makes sense? Brand new D gear perhaps? Idk.

That's true! Tag duels in the show was always cool and seemed like great fun. Though my pals and I never did tag duels except on rare occasion when we had a fourth, which was not often at all.

I was lucky since my friends did duel, not many were in my neighborhood either and I didn't do tourneys because I was under the impression, I'd lose and risk my best cards that took forever to obtain or just was too favored to risk. So as a kid who mainly was in the neighborhood with friends dueling and not traveling beyond that, it limited the number of duels I had.

No probs! And it sounds like fun. The more I rewatch GX, the more a GX rp comes to mind and wanting to do one. So I'm betting even if you lose, it's gotta be quite fun since GX was great imo.

Jaden was pretty good and his deck was strong. I'd think after the series he'd be a favorite to win. Haha but that's just me I guess. Chazz and Jaden working as teammates? That will be tough. Plenty of clashing there.

I was thinking about using shards, sorta like the heart pieces in Zexal, but the shards will make the shape of a crystal. Like six pieces will make a full crystal. And that'll be your pass to enter the finals.

Can't argue with that Xd I know I'm video games where romance is involved, the ones where banter, differences and intial no interest or just difficult are often the best ones. Imo. So Rp and other ships I'd say must be like that, the most entertaining and fun.

Doing some wikia searching i learned Yugi and Joey both had their mothers appear. I never knew that. And I see Arc V the main protagonists mother is shown. But wow, I never noticed parents appear too often in any of the yugioh series, Chumlys dad being one of the few I can recall.

Recalling a yugioh character I had in another Rp that never got started. I might look over some deck possibilities and different types since he was a Bastion esque character with multiple decks. Except I'll go through my Rl cards to create them this time. Rewatching yugioh and talking about it got me in the creative mode. Random moment here

Looking at the newer gear for dueling in the series. Am I wrong to assume based off pics that the newer gear appears to be missing certain areas? Or has the tech developed to the point where monsters zones and stuff for card placing during duels is now irrelevant?

It's doesn't sound bad just different to me. I've not yet seen it though, just images here and there and hearing about the cards.

The Rp was set around the original timeline but his image I used for him looks like a GX Oc with the RA yellow jacket. anyways I built or created a author/pro duelist who uses a variety of different decks he tries out, each meant to be as powerful as the next. But since the Rp never got past characters before the unfortunate absence of some folks in charge, I never did complete any deck ideas for him. So for the hell of it and since creating new deck types is fun for me and challenging in yugioh related ways. Thought I'd Do that, even though I have a Rp reply to another roleplay I'm in that needs doing. Haha distractions and blocks.
