I've got Ty's reply and duel to come. But as the planning stages and post prepping nears the end with Brass and myself + Ammokkx on the Commentary side of it. I've noticed I'm getting into Jk or Joker Z's character a lot. It's got me more into his deck and how to play it.

Yep. I think I've got his character down pat, but now that I've used and studied his deck... I feel like I know it well as if I've used it myself in Rl for dueling. While the deck and his style of character/duelist has me sold on that Shark deck fitting him perfectly. Imo

Whatever happen to the Kaibi Corperaton anyway in Zexal?

It doesn't exist.

I wonder why. It was very big in the original one.

I like to think that Zexal is a branching sort of-ish AU thing to 5D's that some people tagged Kaiba's company and got rid of it to 'save the world from being destroyed' or whatever. That's why it doesn't exist and no one speaks about it.

I wonder what had happened to Kaibi then.

Most likely dead? Like all the other characters would be? I mean, if it takes place as far into the future, as I like to think it does, then Kaiba would be dead like everyone else from the original series. But more so, with that big explosion that wiped out the city at one point. I think that killed off a lot of characters, to be honest. And now Neo Domino City was built after it.

I wonder if that's why Dark Magican is considered a legendary monster or if it's because it was Yugis favorite monster.

I always considered Dark Magician an equal to Blue eyes white Dragon. So I'd like to think it was legendary due to that and their respective duelists using them as the center of their decks. If that makes sense?

Idk just how I like to see it. Though I always favored that card from the original era and in general.

I mean, if you think about it, none of Yusei's monsters show up. You got Yugi's, Kaiba's, Joey's, Jaden's, but none from Yusei, hence why I think Zexal is from a branching timeline where 5D's never happened. But still connected to the main series unlike how people seem to believe it not being 'canon'.

I'm seeing some old deck archetypes have gained new additions with the newer generations. The more I look up cards and decks, I see more of old archetypes of which I wouldn't have expected to get adds. (Ancient Gear and Cyber deck) for example as the two I'm speaking of. Cyber as Alexis Rhodes Etoyle cyber deck and those cards she had in it. Since I figured they were two that GX had that wouldn't have been expanded upon. But am glad they did! Just surprised.

Yeah, too bad Mai Valentine and Alexis, Professor Crowley aren't around in the series to use them. I can't recall the last time I saw Mai and see her duel. Saw some more Harpie deck cards too.
