I’m new here.. Durrrr..


I have RPed for about 5 years.. Didn’t get into Forum RPs before a year and a half back.. My old forum is dying, so I thought it was about to look for a new home.. x)


I can RP pretty much any genre, though I love fantasy/horror.. :3

That was probably one of the most timid yet adorable introductions I've read. Hi, I'm Kurt. I've been on the site for around a year, and tend to be quite active. Don't hesitate to ask questions about the site - It's relatively simplistic, but some things can be confusing at the start, especially for me considering I was new to Forum RP. Things should be easier for you with your past experiences, but still, don't worry about asking. We're a friendly community here at RpNation.

I have a question, though..


I'm a little confused over what you here consider "Simple" and "Casual" and "Detailed" RP.. It seems to be simular to what they used on my ld forum, but I figured I could ask, just to make sure..
 
Simple - Anywhere from a sentence to a paragraph. No more than that, usually.


Casual - 1 - 4 Paragraphs


Detailed - 4 - 8 Paragraphs


This is the basis of what I would do for each level of roleplay.

Nation Building is a type of roleplay which can or cannot be character-driven. Basically, you control a group of people (A tribe, settlement, nation, etc.), and you have to deal with other states (other players) and any other threats offered by the GM. If you've ever played Sid Meier's Civilization, it's basically that. You control a type of group, and then have to perform diplomacy, wage war, etc.
 
Very cool. It's extremely different from anything else you'll find on the site, however. That's why it's one of my faves xD . However, it's also the least popular genre.

Alright.. xD I figured I should join a normal RP for to figure out how it works.. xD But now that I have, I think maybe I should go check out Nation Building again.. :o :D

Hello! My name is Lizzt in also new. My favourite genre is Fantasy (sometimes with horror involved) and I'll probably start a form for one of those rp'd soon :) I've roleplayed for more than a year and I'm still doing my best at it. I'd love to know you more and be friends :) also would love to rp soon :3

Hmm.. Well.. Do like a good horror/fantasy RP.. But I'm also slightly lazy, so if it has 1000 pages of plot and pre-made backstory, I tend to nope.. xP


But except that, I can really do anything..
