Desh'miriai, Guardians. Dragons, & their riders. Fiends & Monarchy clash with each other. Hunters under one ruler, the Dark Dragon Come together in this epic Fantasy Adventure.
In the world of Novaria, Children & adults all follow one Ruler, & under this, lands across Biomes & host many different cultures & Creatures, though they all follow one particular interest among these diverse lands; Dragons. The Dragons are the Guardians of their domains, protecting the people who live amongst their land, & for several generations that's how it was meant to be. Until a child, young & naive, went up to the dragon, to learn from it, & she did. This bond formed a legacy of born children, & with their respective dragons, went up too their Guardians & learned their language, the language of Dragons. The tradition because Religion, cultures unifying under the dragons even more, cultures become one all based upon the facts that these gifted ones, marked with the insignia of Elder, they are named Dragon riders.
From the day they can walk, they learn from the dragons the wisdom's of magic, being able to control the nature of which the dragon controls, by using it as a medium. Along with the words, these children are born to live, breathe & speak dragon, as well as learning to fight themselves in their respective ways, as Dragon Riders, & guardians of their Biomes. An astral plain of energy, children born too have this gift, have a connection too their outer & inner world, as such, the children can communicate with each other, almost telepathically, using their dragons as mediums, in this pool of energy. A telepathy with each other, which is how the land has also become even more united than ever. These Riders all report too the Monarch, doing his/her bidding, which is usually for the good of the people...until recently.
"The Dark Dragon, it's habitat unknown, said to be just a myth, has found a rider!" News of this spread through the land, as the Monarchy was unknowingly being corrupted by a Man so ruthless, poisoned by his own power & his Dragon, that would make it so the current dragons would be seen as a threat to the land of Novaria. As so the Riders must come together to defeat this force of darkness which threatens this land.
A tale of Romance, Politics, Power, & Unity, This is the story of The Dragon Riders.

Depending on race, dragons can channel magic through riders, though on if it's possible by their race. If they can, That magic power is increased through the dragons. Any other class will just have an enhanced stat, like for a warrior would be enhanced endurance or something similar.
Magic is dependent on Both Race and Class. Playable races include Humans, Dragons, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs. Of those only Dwarves and Orcs cannot use magic. I only say dragons because all Riders need a Dragon compatriot, and if you and one other agree you can Pair, otherwise you gotta be both.
UPDATE: I changed the Dragon System. Now there are nine, and the leader will be my Light Dragon/Rider combo. First pick go to the five GOOD Dragon Riders in the founding group, and I will tell you when it's available for others to offer to join the Riders.
