Notifications are not properly working.

There seems to be a problem with the notifications on site lately. 


Posts without quotes or direct mentions will not pop up, and I would only notice such posts when I stumble upon them.


The bug made a few posts on the OoC and my extra threads go unnoticed for hours - this is potentially a problem. 


Please do take a look at the problem - I only have two rps under my belt yet I find the bug to be quite a disaster, I cannot imagine the same for those who took even more Rps.
