I logged on earlier today to sixteen notifications and a message. Nothing unusual there. I went through them, opened up tabs for the ones that were of importance to me, and then walked away for a moment. When I came back, sixteen notifications and a message; except there were no new notifications, merely the same notifications as before, although not in bold like new notifications.
I click on the notifications, refresh the page, etc. The number disappears for a moment, only for them to reappear after just ten seconds of not changing pages or clicking the notifications list. It's extremely annoying, especially since my notification bell doesn't update its number for new notifications unless I refresh the page, and even then returns to the number 16 within a few seconds. Same issue with my message notification, too, keeps returning to one when I have nothing new there.
