Realistic or Modern Not what it seems

hey I wanted to do a roleplay where two people meet online in a virtual reality (kinda like imvu or a online sims type of thing) they play for a while and get to know each other and decide to meet but things aren’t what they were supposed to be once they meet in person.

It could be a catfish, serial killer, your cousin idk but something isn’t right.

I’d like a partner who can keep the roleplay going I don’t mind being the lead in the roleplay but I like both parties to make decisions
