Not So Grand Entrance

Hello RPN! 


I have been getting interested in RPing but I have no experience actually doing it much since childhood.


I was going to get into D&D until I realized that I was mainly the only one interested & getting my friends together in the same place at the same time is nigh impossible now.


I'm particularly interested in RPing with others in video games at the moment (PS4) but may be willing to try forum RP & other forms. 


I just need a place to start. Any help & suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome!  You may want to stop by the Dice section (and the Dice Looking for Group section), we've got several D&D games in progress or looking for players.


Here in the forums, dice games such as D&D are done in play-by-post style, which can be rather slower paced than tabletop, but it's still a lot of fun.  I'm sure the GM will be happy to explain how they want things done in their particular game, but mostly it's pretty freeform until you get to combat or anything else which involves dice.
