Elvario
.
This RP is part of the Isekai Hell setting. It is currently open to be joined by one or two more (maximum of four other players of which two are guaranteed to return from part 1), so let me know if you are interested.
What to expect out of character:
Rounds will take a maximum of 4 days / 96 hours, after which I will start working on a narration post and get it up as soon as I'm able. Narration rounds will arrive earlier if all participants posted. The total duration is intended to be between a month and two months, depending mostly on the pace of the RP, how many (more) join and how much interest there will be.
The RP will be mostly slife-of-life with hopefully some comedic moments. The focus of the RP will be on character interactions and on creatively dealing with simple challenges. The focus of the RP will be looking around the village of Norroburry to find some missing kittens upon request by the Adventurer's Guild.
What to expect in character:
A request has come from a certain Catherin Felinus, a retired noblewoman who took a vacation to the quiet and quaint mountain village of Norroburry with her 101 cats. Sadly enough, it seems that a couple of her adorable meowing fluffs decided to venture out into the unknown and haven't returned yet. What brave heroes will come look for these missing cats? The adventurer's guild can at least confirm she's put up a fine reward for any such noble souls.
After part 1's conclusion, it was revealed the noblewoman is intending to settle in Norroburry instead of just staying there for a vacation and that her cats are a fair bit more difficult to deal with than your average cat. One cat has been returned, five more are still out in the wild. The Adventurer's Guild would still have the quest open to join in for (late/new) people.
When joining, please let me know the following things in your first post:
1 ) Any specific achievements/goals your character would have within the overall goal of the RP, such as trying to increase standing with a certain faction or obtaining a certain item/asset. So long as it doesn't diverge too much, I'll see what I can do to include it.
2 ) Any point boosters the character might have. (Attentive Student, Mentor, Devour, Narrative Booster, etc.).
3 ) Any [Wanted] or criminal titles your character might have. (Note, some city or guild-related settings will make entry for criminals considerably more difficult and would need discussion pre-joining.)
4 ) Any Buddy Skills, Masterwork Skills or Complex Assets your character might have.
Tag and character goal:
Elvario Amice Bellamy – Find the missing cats.
Maxxob Sir Edwin Stormcrest? – Find the missing cats.
Megilagor Viole – Find the missing cats.
If joining(?) Femboy Ul Dyrl - Find the missing cats.
Sir Edwin would himself staring blankly into the middle-far distance for a while after his encounter with the perfect... wait... perfect? Was that cat perfect? Sure, it had nice purple-blue colours, but it'd just been a cat, right? His earlier desires to worship this feline and rid the world of all inferior ones would start to dissipate as his mind cleared up again.
In the distance, he saw a crowd moving. He now knew what was at the centre of it. That same cat that somehow got into his mind just a bit ago. How, if or when he wished to dare approach it again was up to him, though normally, breaking free of a mind controlling effect once meant you'd not so easily for for it again. The main challenge might be the crowd the cat had gathered around it. Pushing through them would be easy, but one wouldn't know what they'd do if their favoured cat was suddenly taken from amidst them. After all, the effect of the cat's influence seemed even stronger on them.

Having successfully returned one cat, she'd smile at Viole. “I'm glad we got the van-is-shing cat! Where should we try next?” She'd ask Viole.
Based on what the'd learned (assuming Ul had shared some information on it), there were some options left. There were plenty of high places for a cat 'that likes heights' to go to, though the likeliest was the dormitory building for mineworkers. It was close enough for a cat that hadn't strayed too far, but by far the tallest place around. There didn't seem to be any smoke near the city, though there were some smelters closer towards the mines that billowed out smoke across the hills.
The biggest gathering of people seemed to be in the small village square, for some reason. They were moving around in a group as if following something. Perhaps it was something worth checking out? The village seemed to have a pastry shop, small as it was. It was close to a few other shops, though it was currently beating them all out with the scent of freshly baked cream pastries. Finally, there was the lake near the village, that might appeal to some types of cats. Perhaps not the type that likes water, but definitely those that'd want what's in it.
“Do you think there would be any cats near the lake? I'd like to go see the lake from up close!” She'd reply, clearly having a fairly bit ulterior motive to go there and not doing much to hide it.
