Age:

18

Gender:

Male

Weapon:

Royal Flush- Noir has the perfect weapon for someone who has been doing card tricks his entire life. Cards. His weapon is cards. At first, they seem like normal playing cards however instead of suits there are dusts. Diamond is Ice dust and instead has a snowflake as the suit. Heart is Fire dust and has a fireball. Spade is Lightning and has a bolt symbol. Finally, Clover is wind and has a gust symbol. That is his main deck. He has some alterations in it like the ace’s are gravity and all have a black hold symbol on them instead of their suit. He also has placed in the deck multiple jokers, they are fused with a random kind of dust and have differing effects. Also they are razor sharp and made of sturdy lightweight material, because just throwing basic cards at an enemy is not a great idea. These cards can be thrown or stuck to people when he is in hand to hand combat. When stuck they normally explode with whatever dust is infused with them. Noir carries around multiple decks and has some cards hidden in different areas of his body. So, the next time you make a joke saying he has “Ace’s up his sleeve” he probably does.

Personality:

When first meeting Noir he seems nice and for the most part normal. Coming from a richer family most would expect a sort of gentleman who is prim and proper. Well with Noir you might get that initially, till he starts twitching and spazzing out. One second he could be super nice and then as you look away he will start mumbling to himself and have the look so intense fear. He has some intense and random mood swings, they rarely go to angry side, but he jumps around from despair to happiness a quite the pace. Explaining Noir is difficult as he makes very little sense, to most he seems insane and acts as if he should be in a padded room but then you get the genuine moments with him and see there is some human left in that sporadic brain. This is not to say that every moment is random, he can sometimes be calm and collected. Getting good conversations out of him can be easy if you can keep his attention and worries centered.

Another thing about Noir is he is a kleptomaniac. Not your usual kleptomaniac though, he steals without even realizing it. Normally it is nothing worth a lot of money and it small trivial things that he uses later to gamble away like a sock or shoe, but it is amazing to watch him just take something thinking it is his and just wandering off only to lose it in a pot. Speaking of, he is obsessed with gambling and the idea of luck. So addicted that he obsesses over luck daily, for some odd reason that has yet to be explained, luck means everything to him. This is both bad and good, bad because he has an unhealthy gambling addiction and good because people can easily distract him with games. Helpful when you need him to calm down. Overall Noir’s personality is random and makes no sense to most just like his fighting style. No rhyme or reason, just Noir.

Skills:

Poker Face- It is almost impossible to know what Noir will do next in a fight, his actions make little to no sense as stated before. People also can’t use his speech or eyes to tell what he will do next either because most of the things that come from his mouth is random jargon and his eyes dart around as if he can’t focus. He also shows too much emotion, but they also make no sense, like he could be getting swung at and be laughing or trying to strike up a conversation.

Put on a show- Noir is the perfect distraction, you want to knock out some guards but don’t want to be spotted. Easy, tell Noir to go talk to them, he will gladly walk up and start doing terrible card tricks or trying to sell them something he accidentally stole. While he distracts the others can easily get the slip on them enemy. He is quite the talker and can talk his way out of most situations.

Sleight of hand- Remember how before it was stated he was a klepto. Well that is where this comes in. He can steal just about anything without the person or himself noticing and if he does notice he forgets within a few seconds of stealing it that he did. This is bad for his teammates sometimes but very good when you need something like keys or a keycard. His card magic may seem terrible to the people he is distracting but sometimes it is terrible because the goons are focusing on the cards and not his hands. He is not terrible at card magic or just magic in general he just sometimes forgets what he is doing in the middle of an act and just improvises and most of the time it just does not work.

Weaknesses:

Luck is not his lady- Noir is incredibly unlucky. That is no joke either, for a gambler he has possibly the worst luck possible. He almost always loses games and most of his lien. In fight this shows up every once and a while, like certain throws will just miss or fall flat on the ground.

Spotlight- Noir is loud, any sort of sneak mission is not for him for he would rather be in the spotlight then creeping around. He also likes to talk to people when he is supposed to be sneaking so it is better to just send his dense self-off to talk to the enemy and be a decent distraction. He is also, as stated before, very unlucky. So, he could be sneaking and trip or crack a branch under his foot. Just don’t take him on stealth missions.

Short attention span- As most have guessed already Noir has an amazingly small attention span. Like you could tell him to go do something and he will forget a few seconds after you told him. Hence why sometimes his “magic” is terrible. This is also why his emotions fly around all crazy. Because he constantly forgets what he was doing or loses his train of thought.

Fighting Style:

Noir does not have a distinct fighting style. As stated above his attacks are random and make little to no sense. When he fights he makes split second decisions, so it is hard to tell what he will do next. Hence why he is a particularly hard person to fight or predict. One second he could be going to for a swing only to purposely miss and sweep at the legs. He looks like an idiot when fighting but that is how he catches you, he has ace’s up his sleeves. He may seem easy to read at first but after a bit of fighting people start to notice there is no flow, no order. He is a chaotic mess. But it’s effective oddly.
