Introduction:

Not once did they acknowledge the consequences of their past events. Mostly they just stood there, watching themselves deteriorating into dust and ash, their souls just burning from the pain. But with pain, comes a soothing remedy; a slight getaway from the horrid reality they call their lives. This may sound dramatic toward you, but pause for a moment to really understand what it means to hide your true self.

Hiding your true self takes a better form of a loss of words; emotion. Words can still flow out of one's mouth, and their thoughts flood into a voice; a choir of opinion. But opinion can lead to mistakes; good, bad or just unintentional. Things could turn into misfortune and every word runs dry. Nothing left but dusty old feelings.

But words and emotions do not have to be the main form of expression. Somethings can be used to hide those dreadful thoughts. Small things, both similar and different can easily camouflage it.

But what happens.. When these two small things collide? Do they just mix together and form something new, or do they push themselves away to simply crawl back in their own shell?

They do both.
