How to Tame a Zoo Keeper's Heart
Hello Hello~ I'm going to keep introductions short because my attention span is even shorter. I'm Crash. I'm 28 and have been rping for 12+ years. This is a thread looking for someone to match with the Zookeeper for a juicy little M/M romance rp. I like the slow burn. I like the slice of life and I love the drama. Strap in and bring it!

Many comments like "cute, adorable and OMG I want one!" Of course some of them were for the animals, however, this zookeeper had brought many guests with his glowing smile. If it's about the animals, his confidence would never allow him to stumble. If it's with people, he could stumble through the most basic small talk. Zak, while he may be laid back introvert in his free time, gives 110% of himself to work everyday. His coworkers often call him the nicest hardass to exsist.

A combination A, D and E. A snake fearing uncle visits the zoo and sees an old class mate he used to bully holding a slippery killing machine.

Or possibly even E and F! The ol enemies to lovers type story. The Zoo could be looking for extra hands and are willing to pay handsomely for hard workers. The new recruit gets paired up with none other than Zak Trotter, the goofy looking kid from high school who was obsessed with animals. He was no longer goofy looking and his passion that everyone made fun of had been turned into a career. The new recruit could ask for another trainer but the bosses would deny his request. Zak was the best they had and would teach new recruits properly.
They would work together completing their daily exhibit chores list. So maybe Zak would go a little extra hard on one of his bullies from high school. However, his distaste for the man wouldn't interfere with taking care of the animals. Each task had to be done perfectly, these were animals lives that were in charge of, there was no messing around with the health of the animals. If the bully would try to step up and poke fun of Zak now, he would take no bullshit in the job he loved. The bully could walk his negative little cheeks right out the Zoo's gates and never come back. Zak would offer to buys the man's lunch after a few days of improvement or even share his homemade one. Sharing whatever fruit he brought that day. Zak practically fed himself like one of the residents, eating large amounts of fresh produce everyday.
???: "These stupid animals won't stop dropping seeds on me!"
Zak: "Hey! First off, these animals are highly intelligent. Second, you are the invader in their home. Why not try to stop looking so threatening?"
Zak: "The animals can sense your bad energy, you know. Plus, you are scaring the kids."
Zak: "Don't stand so close to the pond. Careful. Those are slippery! Hey, careful! Awaah!"

This one is a bit different than the other plots. Maybe a bad group of people start using the public zoo as a meet up spot. Not only would this pull in the wrong type of crowd, but it would bring danger to both the patrons and animals. The zookeeper can't help but notice one guy come around extra often but is clueless of the frequent vistors true intentions. Don't ever judge a book by its cover, huh? Maybe the guy just liked the animals! One day, the zookeeper could walk into the bathroom just before a fight would break out OR the aftermath of a fight with your character injured (bleeding lip, nose, face/black eye/cut hand, leg, arm...) The zookeeper shows kindness by helping the man out. Just because the bad guy got hurt, doesn't mean his job is over. He still makes drops at his local zoo while the zookeeper notices more and more going on. Maybe it's because Zak finally started looking more closely at the criminal. Maybe it's because he felt protective of the man.
Zak: "Now that is the gloomiest I've ever seen someone who is staring at the Prairie Dogs. Doesn't it just warm your heart hearing their chorus of yippes?"
Zak:"Don't you ever do something that will endanger the animals ever again!"
???:"Oh shut it. I was only worried about you dummy..."

•°A°•°• An Amazing Uncle(your character) brings his brother's/sister's kid to the zoo. Maybe a chaperone on a school field trip for the first visit and the second or third he would be using the kid as an excuse to see the zookeeper again. It's easy to get pulled in by the zookeeper's dazzling charm. It would be funny if the sister or brother brought the child to the zoo because the kid wouldn't stop asking. The uncle tags along and gets ratted out by the niece/nephew, "Uncle! It's your zookeeper friend!" The looks he would recieve from his sibling~
•°B°•°• A photographer(your character)visits his local zoo. He could be hired by the Zoo to update their pamphlets and news letters with fresh pictures of their residents. Their social media is booming and they figured updating would bring in even more guests. The zookeeper would be in a few of the pictures advertising their wildlife shows and interactive exhibits. The photographer finds himself taking a few too many of a cute zookeeper.
•°C°•°• An Artist finds the local zoo home. It's quiet during most morning except for the howling, cawing and calling animals. The zookeeper often finds this man alone, doodling in his notebook. The zookeeper would try to extend some form of friendship by passing on knowledge about the exhibits or bringing out smaller animals for close encounter demonstrations. He might even bring concessions to the artist on his breaks. Even the zookeeper would notice the artist forgetting to eat all day being so wrapped up in his work. The artist may start to sketch a few pictures of the Zookeeper, being drawn in by the glowing man.
•°D°•°• A man(your character)goes to the zoo but doesn't expect to see his worst fear there. (Could be any animal really. Snakes, bats, sharks, alligators, hawks, big cats...) The zookeeper sees the man frozen in place, nearly having a heart attack and moves the man to a quiet area to calm him down. Maybe the zookeeper eventually helps him overcome his silly fear of that animal.
•°E°•°• A local(your character) sees an Ad for the Zoo via social media and recognizes the Zookeeper as an old classmate. The zookeeper usually kept to himself in school while he studied hard to get his dream job. He had the personality type to get along with everyone but was never anyone's first pick on the account of the zookeeper being that "weird animal guy." The zookeeper could have tried to stop a bully that resulted in a fight and got him transferred to a different school. Your character could even be the bully that made fun of the zookeeper for loving animals or being gay. "Zak Trotts with (insert the animal of the day here)" could be a common way to put the zookeeper down using his own name. How the turn tables have turned... There's just something about a man in a wetsuit.
•°F°•°• a New coworker has been hired! Has Zak the Zookeeper been assigned as trainer to shape the new recruit into a blossoming flower of joy! This could be an opposites attract type story. The Zoo Bosses sending the gloomy recruit to a beaming ray of sunshine hoping it will rub off on the cloudy man. Zak would be happy to help put the new guy but just because he is new, doesn't mean Zak goes easy on him. The zookeeper pulls the new recruit along at his usual pace, including a daily update on social media. Zak snags a selfie with the new recruit tending to one of the animals in the background.
