• Well, if it isn't obvious I am looking to start an RP that is set in the Bioshock universe. Specifically Rapture, I love the setting and feeling of the city more that Colombia. The dark, lurking feels. The music, art deco, and time era it is set in. I love it all. Pre fall of Rapture, during the fall, and post fall of Rapture. It hits all of what I love and lets admit the introduction of the game was what reeled a lot of us in. If you are stick around. Lets cover a couple of basics before we get started. Shall we. So first, a little about me.
  
  
  • I am a genderless blob, but I do prefer and use female pronouns for the most part. Feel free to use female pronouns or more gender non specific.
  • I roleplay a variety of characters. Male, female, gender queer, straight, gay, asexual, and the whole mix. Open to doubling, tripling, and so forth and so on to build a fun filled roleplay.
  • When it comes to pairings. MxF, MxM, platonic, and ect. FxF is something I maintain in my outside life, I don't find much of a need to roleplay it.
  • Open to canon x OC, canon x canon, and OC x OC rps. Though, Bioshock is rather friendly to OC x OC.
  • I like to chat in OOC, get to know my partners and just keep up even if we might not be posting every day.
  • I suffer from a chronic illness. This can make my life a bit difficult at the moment and I may have an upcoming surgery on the table. I will do my best when I have a flare up, but it is difficult for me. Sometimes the pain is too much and all I can do is lay in the dark and cry.
  • With that said, I will try to post as often as I can. Like many I am in lock down so I have free time. However I am also raising eight puppies that were born in early April.
  • I am ditch friendly. We have all done it. I won't take it personally, but I might send you a message to see whats up. If you aren't feeling it, send me a message. I understand if something doesn't stick. Either you don't feel the theme, we don't mesh are writers, or any variety of things. I will not be upset, but I appreciate a heads up if this isn't working.
  
  
  
• Onto what I am looking for in a partner.
  
  
  • An active and friendly partners.
  • Someone who will do a 50/50 pull with keeping the story moving. Inserting plot ideas, characters, and so forth. Lets build a colorful world. We have a base to work on. Lets make it something we both enjoy and keeps us on the edge of our seats.
  • Have a sense of humor. I like puns and dad jokes, please enjoy them. Even if they are so very cringe inducing.
  • Be friendly and courteous in OOC.
  • A decent sense of grammar and use of spellcheck. I am far from perfect, but I try to keep things down to a minimum.
  • An average of 3+ decent sized paragraphs, sometimes more and sometimes less. No one liners please.
  • Creativity. Create with me.
  • If you are interested. Send me a DM, title it with either your favorite location in Rapture or your favorite character. Please do NOT just send me a basic message with 'hey you wanna rp' and nothing else. Either say you like an idea or bring something of your own. Even if its a very basic idea. Something you want to work with.
  • I prefer main characters to be over 18. Rapture is a dark, dingy place and we will be diving into some dark themes. Lets not have kiddos stuck in it. We will work with the Little Sisters, but prefer to not have them be a main character.

  Plot One :: The Escape
  Set during the fall of Rapture
  
  Muse A was brought to Rapture by Andrew Ryan himself. A decorated veteran who saw war and its cruelties. A man who like Ryan, wanted something new. He wanted a place free from war, where people weren't tied down to moralities, to god, or to whatever excuse people used to explain their actions. Ryan brought him in to help ruin Rapture's security and police force. To set up its defenses and protocols for if things went sour. Muse B came down with the promise of work, the promise that they could make something of themselves in the great city of Rapture. They only found that they were the bottom tier of Rapture, to work and clean toilets as the elite enjoyed the splendor of Rapture. Never able to climb the chain. They came in contact with Frank Fontaine and started to smuggle product in and out of Rapture. Rising through the hands of Fontaine and under the radar of Ryan.
  
  Then came the war before Fontaine and Ryan. Rapture started its great fall and both A and B wanted out of Rapture. They couldn't do it on their own. A was well armed and knew how to fight, but all their ideas of getting out of Rapture were locked down by Andrew Ryan himself. They were ordered to help extinguish the parasites, no matter the cost. A started to seek other channels to get out, offering their services to help others get out. Their skills and connections to certain areas of Rapture to obtain guns or easy access to security systems. B knew Raptures secrets. Pathways used for construction of the city that were now vitalized by smugglers and the gangs of the city. The paths that were under used and still open to access Rapture. The two team, but they were on opposites sides. A believes in Andrew Ryan and his ideals, still loyal to the man. B was a follower of Fontaine and after his death, a believer in Atlas. The two on opposite sides of the war, but with the same goal of escape. Now they must work together to make it out alive.
  
  Plot Two :: Return to Rapture
  Set X amount of years after the games (timeline to be discussed, thinking modern times for setting)
  
  Rapture has survived what should have been its destruction. Sophia Lamb didn't destroy the city with her plan, groups of survivors managed to protect others parts of Rapture. Brilliant minds coming back together in order to rebuild the infamous city. With hard years and many years, the city survived. They rebuilt areas they thought were lost, started to establish a functioning city again. All under the guide of their new leader. A man who even managed to unite Splicers, offering them a steady amount of ADAM and plasmids in order to keep them happy. A man who took in their mutations as the new step in human evolution. Plasmids and ADAMs just kick starting the next generation. The stronger generation of humanity.
  
  A mix if brilliance, an iron will, and willing to take dramatic actions. He brought Rapture back up. A new system of submarines that could travel from the city to the surface. Attacking passing ships for supplies, food, and most important of all. People. These people were used to fuel Rapture. New Big Daddies, new Little and Big Sisters, and they were forced to do the hard labor of rebuilding. They were forced to help repopulate Rapture. The new leader having one thing in mind, to have Rapture rise once again ad become a new figurehead in the world. A place to be feared.
  
  There was a zone in the Atlantic that was rumored to be a hot spot for boats to disappear into the water, for ships to be cleared of people and arrive beached on shores. Covered in blood but nothing left but that. Rumors started. Another Bermuda Triangle. Giant sea monsters, pirates, and various other things.
  
  Then came a group, led by someone who knows of Rapture. (Kin to a survivor of the city, to be discussed of course) Someone who heard the tales of the city under the water. The city where no gods or kings existed, only man. Man that showed it true colors. The corruption of power. Tales of Big Daddies and their Little Sisters. Tales of people who could have fire at their finger tips. The fall of Rapture. They put together a team, to go back to the fabled city. Experts in various fields (where the characters come into play), oceanographers, gene specialists, military personal, journalists, ect. The team would try to cover all the bases of the stories they heard of Rapture.
