Intellectual Sword

Not a Sword Art, But a Sword Ingenuity
Hey, Intellectual Sword can be a bit of a mouthful, so everyone may call me IS, or whatever really! Such as little sword or little intellect, yeah. :)... wait, no

Haha, before I'll continue, I want to make it clear: I am one of those highly nauseatingly disgusting, pretentious-sounding, word maestros of purple-scented prose. Cough. Before you point your torches and pitchforks at me, I apologize deeply. I'm well aware of the faults of flowery, over-the-top writing, but that won't stop me from trying to be a master at it. I'm very fond of purple prose done right, as 'poetry is the highest form of literature' but of course I have much to improve on still. Hopefully, everyone will be accommodating with me, as in, keeping their evil thoughts spoken behind my unknowing and carefree back. s( ^ w ^)--b Oh yeah! I'm further completely garbage and inexperienced with roleplay, so this'll be a fun ride definitely.

But back to introducing myself. I'm a guy with a deep fondness of Chinese culture though I also like a lot of stuff from other cultures, such as Japan and Korea, also 'Murica! I've really dabbled globally for entertainment so the list can get really lengthy, and my music taste is even more eclectic!

Anyhow, I won't bore anyone further, but I'll be happy to answer any questions and such.

Much love to everyone who read through my drivel. :captaincat:

Ah Wuxia. A classic epic :D Speaking of epic novels, I have only read Sanguoshi or perhaps known as Romance of the Three Kingdom.

Haha don't worry, chinese language is really hard, so take it slowly :D I'm not good at that either.

I've never fully read the classics myself, only dabbled a bit in Three Kingdoms and moreso on Red Chamber. Chinese poetry is fun too. :D I mostly indulge in Chinese webnovels or what they call fast food literature. And yeah, learning chinese is probably easier if you have locals to practice with, self-practice can only do so much.

Well it is recommended to have a tutor, and preferably a native speaker so they could fix the tone of your speech. The same with Korean. Japanese is easier than these two T.T

I was considering that, got that idea from reading a webnovel too. Hahahaha. It's just tutors cost money, and I'm miserly as they come. Though maybe once I make enough money to spare.

True that. In here, the cost for a tutor is around $400-$500 a month, which will made me broke in a hurry. T.T

I just try to learn from movies and variety shows here and there, but it barely help TT
