  my writing style is lit - adv lit, i don’t like labelling a word count as it will vary with context! third-person. i prefer drawn / anime fcs, but rl is okay too! (i used to do alot of krps if people still do that ahaha). no canons or fandoms, only original oc x ocs!

• WRITING SAMPLE

  the back of a dainty hand, tender and smooth from years of educated care bounced lightly against the intricately patterned door. curves danced imprisoned against the dark wooden surface, golden handle yearning in almost a coo— the pleading urge to wrap her nimble fingers against in a twirl. what once was familiar routine now felt spontaneous, as mielle could not recall the last time her palms pressed against the worn handle that used to be like home. clad in none but the flimsy linen material of a summer night gown, her slippers danced in tandem against flooring; her planted feet aching to sweep her back to the comfort of a much too empty bedroom. a slight fear of rejection, as t’was not long ago where her high cheeks danced red with the slight tremble of tinted lips. the broken promise of how she was always welcome, now pierced and nurtured by formal knocks on door; just as the rest of his guests through day.
  
  to call the sultona castle as ‘large’ would be a severe understatement; twisted staircases clad of intricate golden rails scoured the nooks of corridors, countless doors of the most intricate designs— all with purpose— lined edges of each turn and trail. arts of all kinds adorned the bland inner walls of home, painting drops of colour against beige wallpaper through yearning portraits of untold pasts. there was a tranquil silence in vast estate; adding an essential eeriness all too familiar from the barren hallways that seemed to extend to the depths of hell. practically empty, if it weren’t for the flaxen blonde slicing through silence with hesitant knocks intwined with a light shuffling breeze. a casting gleam on lower back, the large hall window seemed to stare in mockery. another disappointment of the night, though the door continues to beckon.
  
  mielle blinks once and then thrice, a furrow of drawn eyebrows paired with gnawed chapped lips. her hand raises though it does not reach, the demon in her mind growing far too loud with whispers of a bother. she frowns, what bright cheeks now sullen from lack of sleep and worry yet it all fades away with the muffled shuffling from inside the office. deer in headlights she stills; falling into silence to listen to the muffled sound of his voice before a soft reluctant grin grows. the demons fade and her fingers curl, opening the door regardless with her feathery steps peeking through.
  
  “that’s a new one. you usually just say ‘come in’ but now you’ve upgraded?”a light tease of a jab, her words heavy yet expression light-hearted all the same. ruby eyes, a scarlet shade of blood in contrast to her brother’s blue shine dimly underneath the light, flaxen blonde locks drawn loosely into a ponytail with strands that cup her cheeks. mielle is cautious, there is a gap in where she stands still at the door— the worry that she is not allowed in. her eyelashes flutter and she meets his gaze; there is a subtle glint but she holds it strong. she looks different from the day she had died in his timeline; at peace— more pure. sorrowful yet oblivious at once, but in her eyes there is nothing but love.
