Nightmares and Rage

I like your shoelaces.

Here's our thread! I can get a starting post up really quick, but I feel my meds kicking in and I'm fairly sure I'm about to pass out.

But, here we are~ :3

Kakureta Mokuteki D'Claire was once again locked away in a cage.

It was a large cage - she could stand, she could lay flat, and there was a huge arch of crossing bars over her head. However, she had proven... difficult at best to control. So what did the auctioneers do to prevent her mauling them? Simply cuffed her hands together with a wide chain in between her wrists, and a single, thinck chain was ended into the center of the one between her wrists. The long chain was secured to the top of the cage, and the auctioneers had smugly announced that she was now under control.

Well, A+ for effort! The chain had only proven to create for havoc from Kakureta Mokuteki - or Kaku, as said the nametag on the locked metal collar around her throat. Her body was lithe and strong, the product of hours and hours of training done in the time in the storage room. She had twisted her way up the chain - much like aerial silk dancing - and was lounging along the metal links in a laying position. With the chain wrapping securely around one calf, crossing along her back and around one wrist, the young girl had taken to hovering jut a few feet out of reach from many hands. Smugly, she would cross her free leg over her other and hum casually, almost mockingly.

Kaku grinned in amusement as she heard the auctioneer speaking to another vampire. As you can see, she's quite lovely - and obviously, quite fit and strong. She's well into the billions  due to her Pure-O blood  - "Like you're gonna get a free sample from me. What is it this time, Charle'? You got another customer lookin' for me?" Kaku grinned again, apple-green eyes opening as she carefully unwrapped herself a bit from the chain. Still out of reach of the auctioneers hands, she was now casually up right with one gel secured and the other crossed, one arm wrapped. It looked a bit painful, but Kaku didn't seem to care.

Charles hissed in irritation, glaring at the girl. "Shut up, girl," he grumbled, and Kaku's grin only widened. "What's that, Char? Am I annoying you? Ugh - you poor thing, having so much attitude thrown at you. Honestly, all you did was throw me into a cage and chain me up. But naw, you don't deserve being treated like this." Her obsidian, permanently tousled hair bushing over her back and shoulders, Kaku hummed to herself as she dripped from the sky with carefuly balanced movements until the soles of her boots tapped onto the floor.

I'll leave you to decide on your own, the auctioneer sighed and turned away, vanishto the back room. Kaku turned her apple green eyes to the vampire, her expression cold and blank as she watched him. All traces of mock were gone from her face, leaving only bitterness in her pale green eyes. They re the only true mark of color on her body, her skin almost so pale it could be considered snow white. She was clothes in a pair of black skinny jeans and a plain black t-shirt, showing dozens of scars and marks along her arms, vanishing under th fabric. No doubt it continued almost all the way over her body, hidden under her clothes. The harsh metal collar around her neck hid many, many scars from forceful fangs - a sure sign of past abuse.

"Another blood sucker," she said coldly, just before turning away and swirling her way back upwards. Tangled carefuly in the chain, she leaned back into the laying position and  began to actively ignore the vampire.

Takashi tied his hair long black hair up in a loose pony tail as he walked with auctioneer down the hallway. They exchanged small, polite conversation before coming to the real topic of why they were here in the first place. As the two stepped into the room the auctioneer, Charles, began to define the girl. In the manner he described her, it sounded like the two didn't get along. And the banter the girl gave only strengthened his thought on it.

As the Charles left his side, disappearing into the room they had once been in, the vampire turned his attention to the girl before his eyes. She seemed, strong willed and very stubborn. But Takashi pushed the thought from his head and stood near the cage, arms folded neatly behind his back.

The vampire watched the human, with interest, as she made her way back up the chain. He looked at her as if he was studying a new creature he had never seen before. His expression showed little else other then interest and perhaps the faintest sign of amusement. But the sudden cold tone of her voice only peeked his interest in her more. Out spoken, blunt. That was new for him. Most other humans he took were shy, almost seemed lifeless after countless times of being sold and bought, not to mention the draining of blood. But Takashi brushed aside the cold, abrasive tone the girl had.

"What's your name?" He asked in a soft manner as he stepped towards the cage again. He was almost close enough to tough the cold steel bars of the cage, but Takashi knew better then to do so.The vampire brushed a stray hair out of his face as he cocked his head to one side, still looking at the human with a keen interest. He certainly had the money to buy her, if he wanted to. And he did want to. But Takashi had other interests when buying humans, other then the type of their blood. He had set a personal goal of having to have some connection with the human he was interested in taking home. He just hoped that this girl could provide more then an harsh tone to him for him to find out.

"Depends on what language you want it in," Kaku called down smugly, twisting in the chain. "In Japanese? Kakureta Mokuteki. In Dutch? Verborgen Doel." Kaku let herself lower a few feet fro the chain, balanced upright with one leg wrapped in the chain. "In Englsih, I'm Hidden Purpose. If you're gonna take me away to Italy, better call me Scopo Nascosto." The young girl slowly trailed downwards like a drop of water down a window, twining herself with clinks and  clangs from the thick chain.

"Most of my buyers call me Kaku." Her voice was bored now, rather than coy and mildly mocking like when she seemed to mentally translate her originally Japanese name into different languages. Her feet hitting the floor again gently, Kaku let herself plop onto te ground and sitalmost eerily stil, her legs criss-crossed. Her hands were in her lap, which was just about as long as thechain would allow. For a few moments, she just studied the vampire silently, apple-green eyes narrowed curiously. Finally, she gave a droll, almost condescending smile. "You're going to buy me."

It wasn't a demand, or a question. It was a simple statement of perfect knowledge. She saw that glean of interest in his eye, that curiosity she knew all too well by now. "I know you are. You aren't looking just for blood. You're looking for a challenge and someone who isn't broken from your kind." Her eyes casually swept the room, showing other perfectly obedient slaves purring submissively as they were bought and taken away like cats or dogs. "I'd almost venture as to say you're looking for a friend of sorts. You won't be finding one in me, hate to tell ya - but you know you won't be bored if you purchase me."

She suddenly jerked into motion - a loose chain link slammed against a machine against her cage. Where she got the link was a mystery - the chain seemed unfiddled with, and her wrists were still secure. However, the sudden hit seemed to knock the machine into life - a robotic voice instructed the buyer to either insert bills into the slot below, or scan your card here. Either insert bills into the slot below, or scan your card here. Either instert bills... The voice droned on and on as Kaku leveled her eyes at the vampire once more. She was silent, but an expression of quiet hatred flickered in her eyes. She wouldn't fight, for now. Not until he bit her - she knew it was coming.
