It greatly stokes the imagination yes.

I think this game has too many parameters. Even if this were a dice or numbers-based game, it's got more parameters than we really need.

*Do we need to know the quality of the magic circuits?

*Is alignment really relevant when we already have bios?

*Can Class Skills and Personal Skills be merged?

*If players describe their Noble Phantasms, could we do away with all those parameters?

I'd like to reserve Assassin.
It got reserved already by Lazarus I believe.

The sheet accommodates for Canon examples of combat mechanics so parameters are largely encouraged for detail purposes. They aren't intrinsic parts of the character building process per say and may seem extraneous but they all help in determining general power thresholds by enforcing many rather broad but still defining limits.

I will agree that these parameters hold more significance when one understands what they entail more, which I will strive to explain in the mechanics tab in a few hours when I can get on a computer.

I've never played the visual novels (only seen the anime), so I look forward to seeing the mechanics explanation.

Yeah I should have put that section up first for easier sheet making.

Also I will get to replying to conversation s when I can get on a computer in a few hours.

Well...Caster (Medea) was someone to be recognized; she was both intelligent and skillful to the point that she hacked the whole Grail System in some sort of way; tough luck for her that she had to deal with two masters at the same time if not three; if it would had been a free for all battle between the masters with no alliances; I am quite sure Caster - Edea would had won ...and probably married Souichirou Kuzuki : p.

Right.

I'll be playing this War's Saber, would someone kindly be my master? I sent my Charsheet to the GM, just awaiting some hashing out.

We have a pretty significant lack of players to think about pairing yet. I may allow people to create more than one character but I feel that wont be enough either way.

The character sheets for this game are a huge barrier to entry. I suggest simplifying character creation by dropping or merging parameters, particularly for people who aren't familiar with the lore. Seriously, the opportunity to play an epic & mysterious historical hero should have players flocking; I'm pretty sure the complicated mechanics hold them back.

A lot of clarity goes down the drain then. However I will concede that the sheet restrictions I have placed are to make sure people versed in the mechanics of Fate dont break or powergame subtly. In our case right now I find that highly unlikely unless someone with knowledge willing to power game pops in(Which has happened many times here). I like to have the sheet as a safety mechanic, but if all of you want to simplify the sheet then I can omit a few things somewhat.

Alright then, after some consideration I have decided that on this:

Give me your broad ideas on your characters and their abilities(mostly in regards to servants), and I will fit them into parameters and skills that make sense for you. I did this with @SephirothSage for the most part, and it seems to work best since the part that's difficult(Fitting into parameters) will be done by me.
