Walter would want to be part of the 4 in Ivy's car as she is the only one he knows so far on this trip but he could end up going into the other car because he didn't speak up soon enough about going into Ivy's car and I could work with that anxiety.

They sounded like they were pretty busy the last time they were around. Besides, even if they're still pending on this, not everyone replied about the car thing, so I doubt they wanna go on with only half the original cast of characters.
