Elaborate Characters

Hello everyone.
I'm Yami from Canada, born in 1989 and passionate about roleplaying. I also play D&D with my friends and LARP in the summer, but it's never as satisfying as playing characters in the written form. English as my second language, I truly began writing rp posts when I was 11 years old and have greatly improved my English writing skills and expanded my vocabulary thanks to rp. My story styles consist of concepts similar to the tv shows and movies that I watch, which most likely include supernatural or science-fiction elements.
I've been lurking on RPHaven's chatrooms for a few years and have often been disappointed due to that website being overrun by erotic content and so little percentage of literate players interested in story driven rp. So, that is how I ended up here, while googling for an alternative that would allow me to maybe find people to get creative with once again.
I'm only interested in one-on-one rps in private with players that write male characters, preferably in instant messaging such as discord or skype(though I rarely open my skype app).
I'm not sure what else I could mention in this introduction, as I will write in the Looking for Partners area soon enough.
I hope to find that some of you might be compatible partners with me so that I could play the characters I've created and develop them in individual stories with some of you.

So far I've only found one person to rp with. Looking through all of the "Looking for Partners" there seems to be more people into Fandom and anime stuff rather than the style I go for. I'll keep looking.
