[Next Stop: Sunshine City]The Bar

@Crocodile, @Chibii, @KamiKahzy, @Talon

Alright so lets start putting up our character concepts and things we might do before I determine how much power level I want to start us off at (Unless we completely want me to pick first). This way we can make sure we don't overlap with each other and spend time on helping everyone with the actual mechanics yet.

@Lord of Chaos, any decent online character PDFs?

I'm thinking of an arcane character of some sort - in the vein of Dr. Strange but not so ridiculously powerful.

Still pondering on aesthetics and abilities. Being me I'm skewing toward the darker side.

I have a good character builder excel file. There's also pretty good editable pdfs, but they don't do any math for you. Up to you which you'd prefer

Let me see it?

For posting we can use the awesome sideblocks bbcode or some variation on it and with posting marcos we never have to type it out again. Just editing the values in it when you lose HP and stuff.

Strength: 19

Dexterity: 12

Constitution: 14

Intelligence: 17

Wisdom: 8

Charisma: 11

Well, my character is a little strange and niche but I think he'll be pretty good for a starting character.

His name is Hunter and he's a paraplegic. There was an accident involving a school bus bombing that he was part of that cost him his legs. He's overcome it by getting robo-leg replacements. Ideally he'll have two sets, his civilian model and his 'work' model. Civilian model would just be a regular looking prosthetic that lets him walk normally. You'd never know what it was unless he pulled up his pants leg.

The other set is a bit more industrial and more tailored to his actual play style. He's a thief at heart so he values speed and stealth above strength. The legs are really just a means to an end though, something to help him run away or get into a place for a job. His real strength is his hacking ability, as he's a wiz when it comes to code.

The other equipment I figured he would have is a special mask that acts as both his way to conceal his face and as a helpful tool that has a lot of smaller functions. Night vision, binocular scopes, video camera capabilities, things like that. Other than that he'd have some basic things like a knife, a small pistol, and his trusty tablet that is his primary hacking tool when he cracks into a server room.

I can ramp up or down the capabilities of his tech to suit the power system. I can always think up more ideas if need be.

And I like the sideblock idea, makes things neat and easily visible for everyone.

As the game progresses we can make multiple characters by the way since its a huge city.

I suppose I'll be doing a crime fighter type, costumed man of mystery, high in stats with no real powers. Very much a mix of Batman and Captain America.

Thinking he'll go by Revenant, basically some self-made billionaire who vanished for a while and came back in peak condition. Obsessed with saving the city from the corruption and crime spreading in it. Plays up being some sort of phantom with his costume and stealth when not tapping into his network of rescues he recruits as agents in his crusade against the city's dark side.

Leads a double life mainly to conceal his true agenda, using his wealth to finance his plans.

Would I be able to have a facility? Figure he could invite others to work with him in some sort of super group to use the facility.

Facilities are a thing according to the rules, but you need the points to buy them. And they are NOT cheap.

People can have their indiviual bases and stuff if they want but we can also have a collective base.

Everyone can chip in points.

Perhaps we can use a defunct base or THE base from where abs0lute wrecked everything and perhaps the amount of points you guys chip in the beginning is how much of the place actually works since its mostly a wreck.

Also I'm pretty good at the system and @Crocodile can also help if hes willing.

I'm going with a "reality hacker". Backstory is that he was a run of the mill computer geek who fell through the cracks and saw the code of the universe (or at least that's how his mind parsed it). Now, he can access that knowledge to create or edit things in the real world. Definitely white hat, but independent of any official organizations or authority.

Main powers: create objects, healing people/objects, damaging people/objects.

I wouldn't mind crunching some numbers but I think we'd have to decide how the story is going to start before we decide if we want to renovate the old tower right off the bat.

I'm more than willing to crunch numbers to help.

Also open to shared facility but Revenant wouldn't occupy the tower. He's too paranoid and secretive. You'll be lucky to ever get him to take off his mask initially. Either way, I'll plan on having facility either by himself or shared.

Yeah.

I don't think I'll give you guys the tower for story reasons after thinking about it. Its much more fun if you guys go explore it one day.

That sounds fair. Also good luck getting Hunter to cooperate with anyone. He's a jerk and a loser and hates playing nice in general. :P

I guess I'll seclude you some where in the city :P .

Are we going Golden, Silver, or Iron Age?

I'm thinking of calling my guy DOCTOR MIDNIGHT, MASTER OF THE PRIMEVAL!!

I'm too much of a fan of all of them so these big sandbox M&M games basically has different aspects and sections in those ages and different levels of tech and stuff.

For all intents and comic book purposes, this city is currently the whole world.

Yeah, definitely going with Revenant. Behold his shadowy glory.
