Plotline


it has been 12 years since the end of the last series, and the world us 100% unrecognizable from the beginning of the first series of ww back on Gg.


the Old Ones, an ancient race of demons hell-bent on taking over the entire world have finally been defeated but not wiped out, instead they have surrendered under the condition they can still live on earth, which some have been allowed to. The old ones are of all shapes and all sizes, from subway-sized kiler earthworms to people with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a scorpion, to some that are just moving piles of slime, however they are no onger our enemies, as their sense of honour dictates, they must abide by the conditions of their surrender, and they agreed to live in peace.


Nightrise, an organization first encountered by Artemis and Yumi when they were mere teens was once fighting to serve the old ones, to help weaken humanity so they will be enslaved more easily, after many defeats after which they continued to come back stronger, thanks to a massive plague, they managed to gain enough power in china and india to become dominant, finally becoming the worlds only superpower, however thanks to some hacked satelites, several hundred neutron bombs were fired at them, controled by Steven Adams, effectively wiping out all of nightrise once and for all... as well as a billion people.


after this came the real challenge, Boghren's invasion. Boghren timed his invasion perfectly, all over the world demons fell from the sky like so many meteors, once they landed, they began killing everyone they saw. but thanks to the salf-sacrifice of both Steven, giving his life and Marco, giving his immortality, the portals were sealed, it is commonly accepted that steven killed boghren then died of his wounds, or boghren ate him and self-destructed, but his body was never found, a memorial was still erected to honour him.


Marco highland, the son of multi billionaire and master wizard Artemis Highland played a huge part in these events, eventually, he split himself into 2 of himself, one went to marry his love, Leslie, the new grim reaper, build a house and live thhe rest of their lives in ech-other's arms, while the other went to become a global dictator, becoming humanity's common enemy, they all focussed on him and his legion, preventing them from killing each-other in the "blame game" that half of marco was killed 10 months after becoming dictator, everything that happened was laid at his feet, and for once humanity united, no longer letting race or religion seperate people, and the demons once under his command, who rebelled were welcomed among humans again.


THE WORLD TODAY:


with just less than a billion humans on earth, most cities have been abandoned, to be reclaimed by the forrests and the deserts, the cities of today ae eco-friendly and futuristic, yet at the same time, they are like ruins, gread spires reaching over the jungle canopies, covered in vines, but they are fillled with people and technology, in the deserts, cities are now underground, like massive ant colonies, hooked up with U.V lighting in every hall, every house so the people still get their vitamin D. underground highways are still under construction.


naure has reclaimed the world, but sentiend life, not just humanity, are still going strong, and , with the lessons learned frm the past, are starting anew, like from when humans were once tribals first unlocking fire, they are beginning again, starting from scratch, and this time... won't screw it up.


THE SCHOOL:


this school was once an old castle, transported to a magic dimension by Marco and his Legion to keep it safe, but after Boghren's invasion, it was bought back but with a difference, now it sits deep within a thick forrest, several huge black and blue spires coming up from it's stone towers and around, with massive chambers underground, where basic destruction spells are practiced on the roots of the forest's trees, its a full time job keeping them under control.


near this forrest is a lake, 500 metres across and over 100 metres deep, and below it is a creature beyond horror... the school's mascot.


in the forrest around there are creatures both native to earth and otherwise, alongside parrots are 8 winged monstrosities from another world, bought to earth either by marco's legion or by Booghren's army, no longer a killing machine, but simple animals, like the vast majority of all demons.


of course with this introduction of other races, you don't need to play as a human if you dont want to.

Bio: Coming from a smaller band of water nypmhs that lived primary from a lake connected by a straight to the north atlantic ocean, with a few normal dwellings in a nearby town, Nellie's parents raised her to be afraid of the humans, as they had not forgotten the acusations and the murders done during the war 12 years ago. At some point in her youth, they found she possessed an inner spark of magic that her kind occasioanlly had, and her parents, in a wish to keep her more in a world of magical things that were on her side, as well as a way to have her train that spark, over letting it fizzle out like so many others in their band hand, they waited till she was of age, before sending her off to a school they had heard about for precisely their needs.


Personality: A bit of a more quiet, stick to the rules, don't get in trouble kind of kid. A bit strange when it comes to human habits, not quite understanding a good handful of them, though she has a fasnication with books. Has a very short temper, particularly when it comes to trouble makers, earning her a frequent dub of "Snitch."


Personal Items: A sealed bottle of lake water kept as a charm on a bracelet. A pet clown fish with sea anemone.

Other: Actually can't see well outside of water and has a great fear of fire. Returns to her natural form upon large contact with water (a.k.a. rain won't do anything, but getting a bucket of water knocked over her head would)

Appearance: In my tradition,no image;too much hassle.


Four foot six,spiky blood red hair that reaches the nape of the neck,lean muscular build. Fair skin,slight tan. Black scelera,no iris. Angled facial features. Has red "cable" markings running up the sides of his arms and legs,ending at the collarbone and navel,respectively,in red circles,with the same circles on his ankles and the backs of his hands. Wears a blank black t-shirt,which covers the Legion emblem on his chest. Wears denim jeans and cross-trainers on his feet,with black socks. Wears black wristbands,with a watch built into the left one. Long,pointed ears.


Bio: Trace was made as a weapon for the Legion Remnants to use in a desperate bid to re-assert dominance over the earth. However,a raid by the Unified Magical Entities left his creators either dead or in prison awaiting execution before behavioural imprinting. He was taken for study,and was eventually completed by UME researchers,and was released from his tank,without behavioural imprinting. He was then sent to the Highland Academy of Mages so he could learn of himself,others,society,and the magic he was created with.


Personality: Trace Legacy lives up to his name. He has no memory of his past,and very few opinions. He heard stories of the war,and of the Legions fall,but found himself surprisingly neutral on the matter. He is very blunt and open,and also has next to no understanding of the finer points of what is acceptable in modern culture. Quick to anger,and slow to cool off,combined with his rather tenouous grip on his powers can lead to dangerous situations. Finally,he has a sore spot for being referenced to as an object or thing. He sees himself as a proper human being,even though he's artificial.


Magic Skill: Varries,and is limited.


-Memory Manipulation: He has enough control over it to prevent accidental casting. However,miscasts are frequent. Can only improve memory or delete memory.


-Timestreaming: Zero control. He can see possibilities of the future,and the past,but cannot interact. He cannot control when or how long he goes into a timestreamer trance.


-Magic Discharge: Moderate control. He can discharge raw magical energy in a variety of forms,from shockwaves,domes/spheres,rays,or blades. He may accidentaly discharge,and if he attempts a manual discharge,he may not get the result he wanted (Ray instead of a wave).


-Magical Regeneration: No,his wounds don't heal. All mages have a limited "Power pool",which must be vented regularly or else the constant stream of power will cataclysmicaly overflow. For Trace,this threat is even more apparent,as his pool is small,and it regenerates extremely quickly.


Magic Tool: Anything made of,in whole or in part,of platinum or palladium. Platinum allows for more powerful casting,whilst palladium makes his casting more efficient.

Bio: Born to marco highland and Leslie Fitz/Highland, the surviving half of Marco, the so-called "dictator" who put al the world's problems at his feet, uniting humanity as brothers and sisters, so they didnt tear each-other appart in "the blame game" James was raised on the old Highland family home, he would spend his days taking lessons in accedemics from both his mother and the "shadow a mystical creature who has, over the years, come to care for James like a big sister, he would also play around the yard with the family pet, a siberian hisky named "Inga" and learning some basic magic from his dad, of course often times htey would btoh get bored and he would play around with his dad in the yard, playing "hellicopter" or "magic paintball" where they would use a simple colour-throwing spell and they would have fights.


he was also educated that if anyone asks about his name, he should say he has no relationship to the dictator, which is his dad, and that if they ask about his parents, he is to say they are dead, killed by the legion. Marco has raised james so far to be happy, energetic, to look up to people, not look down on them, and to help other people and be considerate, essentially, he has been raised to be everything his father wasn't at his age.


Personality: Playful, cheerful, immature, friendly and effectinite.

Bio: Gorgonzola was born and raised to be a cheese magus in order to succeed his family's dairy farm. However, he does not want to be bound to merely cheese magic...while his parents were not looking, he read and studied up on dimensional magic. One day, his intense studying and hard work allowed him to develop a unique fighting style of his own while growing out a fabulous afro. His main goal in life is to learn as much magic as he can.


Personality: Laid back at times, but extremely hard working when it counts. Loves to read books and talk about magic. Prefers not to fight unless it's necessary. Even though he tries to distance himself from the duties of a cheese magus, he cannot help but talk about cheese when he gets the chance.


Personal Items: A locket that has a piece of cheese inside. This cheese does not rot and can eternally regenerate itself as long as a single crumb remains.


Magic skills -


Gorgonzola Eyes: (Average) By staring into an opponent's eyes, he can make the person believe that his/her body is turning into cheese. Those with weak constitutions may end up eating themselves due to the hypnotic nature of the ability. This can be easily countered if the opponent does not look directly into his eyes or if he/she has total magic ability that is equal to or greater than Gorgonzola Eyes. Gorgonzola does not need to chant this - his eyes simply turn red when it is active.


Cheese Fondue - An everlasting cheesy hell <literally> (Medium): Due to his upbringing as a cheese mage, Gorgonzola can shoot cheese fondue from his hands...this cheese fondue has the same exact properties of lava...although he can change the temperature at will. He can also control the amount of cheeze fondue that he shoots and can even manipulate the shape of it (ex: using it as a whip).


Cheese Sample Barrage - Unlimited Cheese Works (High): By chanting a unique verse, Gorgonzola is able to summon up to 10,000 7 foot cheese samplers and either wield them as swords or throw them. These samplers are not your average samplers - the objects being used to stick the cheese on are large double edged swords. Due to the energy consumption of this technique, Gorgonzola can only use this ability once and it has a time limit of 5 minutes.


Afro Tentacles - (Low) - An ability learned from studying dimensional magic. Sprouts tentacles from his afro that can be used to attack or defend...these tentacles only have a range of 2 feet.


Afro Storage - (Low) - Can store up to 3 objects in his afro, regardless of size


Other: Has a high affinity for cheese...and milk. Can create or mimic objects/potions from these two items; however, objects that are mimiced have their usefulness halved. He can also coat objects or people in cheese to increase their power temporarily (wears off in 2 hours).


Wand/magical item:


Cheeze Blade of the Cooking Gods - Usually stored in his afro - this blade has the ability to turn any non-humanoid/living thing into cheese. Can also turn them back. Note that the blade cannot cut....at all! It is simply a sword with melted cheese running inside of it


Lucky(?) Cheese - Stored in his locket; an immortal cheese that when eaten, triples the users magic output...however, the user will suffer a bad case of diahrea later on....this increase only lasts an hour and cannot be stacked with anything else that raises magic power.


Cheesestick of Destiny - A wand that enables him to summon up melted cheese golems that are 9 feet tall...these golems have powerful regenerating abilities and thus, need to be entirely wiped out in order for them to actually stay dead. The more cheese golems summoned, the more energy it takes to keep them around.

Bio:


Minka was a miscarriage. She had passed the gates of heaven without living a second on earth and had been very jealous of those who did. Her envy drove her to attempt a passage onto earth, although the influx of people had warned her it was not the same.


Escaping at the age of seven, she fell from heaven and found exactly what the people had been warning her of. It was too late now, though, as she found heaven to be locked off. She had fallen, but most of her magical inclination had remained; giving the clue she might’ve been a mage if she had survived the pregnancy stages.


Personality: Minka is very trusting towards others and can often be thought of as naïve, but she’s stubborn if crossed once and isn’t quick to forgive. Has quiet tendencies and comes across as socially awkward until she gets used to you; otherwise she is nice and friendly. Book-smarts, good selective memory, clumsiness and a cool head appear less often but can be defined as traits.


Personal Items: A broken rosary, she still has every part in perfect condition though.

kay, so, question: this is about the life after Ww wars right, I say that loosely--so this is about children born after the war who are being trained at the school, correct? I'm not quite clear on the objective yet.


on a side note: what does Gg stand for, if it doesn't stand for anything, what does it mean?
 
This season of WW takes place twelve years after the previous season,which was a war,yes. Our characters are the next generation of witches,warlocks,wizards,ect. and are recieving training at the Highland Institute of Magic. This season,I predict,will be laid back and full of lulz,instead of the drama rollercoaster of the last three seasons.


As far as "GG" goes,I wasn't a member in those times,so...Maybe Esme or Kagura wil have an answer.
 
Gg, otherwise known as Ggnaruto, then Ggroleplay, was the orginal name of our site before it became RpNation. It's our way of saying how long ago it was (around three years....).

Race: Half-Breed, Human/Demon (although his appearance is totally human, Virtus still easily has the same heightened physical and regenerative properties of demons)

Bio: Much of his past is unknown, and he refuses to speak of the time before he met his familiars. He refers to them as his family. Although his half-breed lineage is common knowledge, who his parents are exactly is still a mystery to others.


Personality: A touch distant and aloof, but with a good nature and temperament.


Personal Items: Nothing in particular.


Magic Skill: High in Theurgy, the invoking/summoning of spirits/demons. His half-breed blood makes an excellent conductor for the different types of abilities and creatures used in this style of magic. He has four familiars, spirits bound to him as a chosen master. Their bond with Virtus is so strong they can even summon themselves to him, with no effort or will on his end, simply to keep him company. His Theurgy with these four spirits is much better due to being used to them, and their complete willingness to serve their master.


When invoked, the familiars will 'merge' with the master, granting their powers. For example, if Virtus invoked Azure, he'd gain power and control over water to the skill of a much more experienced mage. Virtus has enough skill to invoke two of his familiars at the same time.


His familiars are as follows:


- Azure: A spirit of water, given physical form in the shape of a small, serpentine dragon. He has a calm and level personality, and acts as a leader of sorts towards the other three familiars. Additionally grants super senses when invoked.


- Byakko: A spirit of wind and lightning, given physical form in the shape of a small tiger. He is quite excitable and overly friendly. Additionally grants the ability to fly when invoked.


- Genbu: A spirit of earth, given physical form in the shape of a small turtle. He is incredibly wise, but often has clashing opinions with the other familiars. Additionally grants super strength when invoked.


- Suzaku: A spirit of fire, given physical form in the shape of a small flaming bird. She is quite passionate, and is easily the most defensive of her master. Additionally grants super speed when invoked.


When not invoked, each familiar has a true form that may be summoned to fight for or with Virtus. He can summon all of his familiars with ease in their small forms, but can only maintain one's true form. The spirits can still fight in their small forms, but their powers are greatly diminished.

History: There isn't much to say. His early life was as possible, until his parents sent him to the school. That was when his life changed.


Apperance: His skin is tanned to match his dark curly hair and eyes. Taylor doesn't care how he wears his hair, so it typically goes into his eyes often and look like he cut himself in the dark. He is short but muscled, and can be very quick and agile.


Personality: Taylor is practical and realistic. He doesn't like to hope for things, as he sees to hope is to expect. This can make him come across as rather pessimistic. Looking past this, however, Taylor is a lot of fun to be around. As such a practical person, though, Taylor isn't exactly one to joke around; but he will show humor in little, "uncharted" ways. Taylor can have a short temper and a blunt side, but he is loyal and caring.

A silver charm of a galloping horse, symbolizing power and speed, that he carries in his pocket.

Bio: Fairly simple, raised in a medium sized town, were Cam found the hum-drum of 'normal' life quite boring. Her parents restricted the use of her magic though she shows much potential. When she got the oppurtunity to study at the Magic Academy she quickly accepted and is exceptionally eager to proceed in the magic arts. She likes doing science and things, expirementation and things like potions.


Personality: Depends on the circumstances, otherwise she is sweet and amiable. Cam likes to see the brighter side to life because she is fortunate for the things she has. She is very smart, Cam would be the person to troubleshoot and figure out the easiest solution to a problem. She's also one to take things apart to see how they work, and maybe put them back together if she isn't bored with it. She can get annoyed with people who take things for granted and dont show much initiative. She is brave and stands up for what she believes in and doesn't let people step on her.


Personal Items: Carries around a leather messenger bag/satchel thing she uses to carry anything she may need. Has a familiar, a Savannah cat named Bast.

Magic skill: Average, but she's learning. Cam uses Alchemy as her main power as a magician. She has a transmutation circle tattoos on both of her palms. Her alchemy only molds the matter around her, she cannot change it's chemical structure--hence change it into another material, compound, element, etc. for example iron into gold--only matter manipulation. She works best with natural matter such as water, earth--rock, stone, and dirt--and metals, she isn't very good with air and complex compounds plant matter--wood essentually. But she is getting better, however slowly it may take. She has never been very good at the whole 'spell casting' thing.

History:

Having lived for what seemed like an eternity under the "protection" of a grove witch, hidden deep within a forest and nowhere near any civilization, Talhar grew to see life for what it is, a life with no room for dreams, only stonecold reality. His magic powers were honed by the grove witch but only for her own benefit, she trained him to take her place upon her death, to be the new protector of the forest and live life in solitude, and misery. That's until the day that suddenly a large school appeared in the forest, a school which he encountered upon one of his solemn explorations in search of civilization. At first he couldn't believe what he saw, he had only seen such constructs in books, the only construct he had ever seen in person was the shady cottage where the grove witch lived. After realizing this wasn't a dream, he entered and that was the start of his new life.

Personality:

He's raher shy and timid considering he has never really been in contact with other humans, besides the grove witch. But he's undoubtedly a friendly child who only wants to make his parents proud and doesn't wish anyone anything bad. Once you get him to open up, he'll turn into a very cheerful and funloving kid who doesn't shy away from hard work and study, but neither does he shy away from minor misschief, explorations and fun.

Bio: Lawrence is a reincarnation of a dirty rotten scoundrel. A despicable man who died a coward's death after betraying his friends and family, cursed to relive his life with a terrible burden. Lawrence remembers nothing of his past life as a coward, but is often haunted by vivid images of misdeeds his former entity committed, unbeknownst to him. To compensate for his past life, whatever force at work granted him the abilities and demeanor that are the extreme opposite of his past life.


Personality: (The Boy Scout)Lawrence is a noble soul who puts himself last and wants to protect the innocent. He is almost naive in his belief in the good that is inside everyone.In short he has a lawful good personality.

Magic Skill: Average





[Empathy]- While holding the sword Lawrence dubs the "sword of Truth" he can sense a person's true intentions and feelings. The only downside is while he wields the sword and uses this power Lawrence can not tell a lie. The ability is cancelled out if he is somehow disarmed.





[Pathfinding]- While concentrating Lawrence can lock onto a target and relentlessly track them. This requires meditation however, which leaves him a sitting duck while he picks his target.



[Light]- Lawrence can generate light particles to either defensively to blind others, or offensively sending out beams of hard light to pummel foes. At his current level the range of the blasts and blinding effects are extremely small unless he has his sword to act as an amplifier.

Race: Shadowmancer (Basically a human mage with power over the substance of shadows and is able to create additional shadows from his own body).

Apperance:

He is of the average height and below the average weight, his hair is brown, just like the chocolate you would see him with on occasion to keep his weight up. He wears a smile on his face most of the time, unless reading his book. Nothing is spectacular about his clothing either because they are consist of brown shirts and either blue or black pants and wears a silver necklace in the shape of an arrowhead. Yet the most remarkable thing about him is his second set of pupils in his eyes that seem to look wherever they want.




Bio: War was a funny thing to Cedric, maybe even traumatic even though he never seen it. The only experience he had for it was from the stories his granddad told him. To others life would be considered hard and lonely, but luckily he always had shadows. He could play with shadows, talk to them and the other way around. His granddad died after paying his way into schooling, leaving no relatives to speak of, except a long lost aunt, or something like that.


Personality: He is a happy person and is not usually seen without a smile on his face. He really doesn't like to have the first word or the last, which makes him try starting a new conversation. He also has a weird incapability to feel sorry for other people.






Personal Items: Necklace and his book.



Magic skill: Above but not excellent at magic. As a Shadowmancer, Cedric is able to warp shadows and have some control over the dead, but he can't summon them though, instead he summons a personage of that person with limited knowledge. When warping the shadows, he can add substance to them and give them three dimensional form for a time.



Shadow Warping: Alters a shadows density and mass to create a solid object, ranges from blunt objects to boxes. They are harder to keep form in well lit areas.


Recall: By announcing the name and something that belonged to the targeted person, dead or alive, Cedric can call upon a shadowed form of the selected person. Knowledge is restricted and they are fragile in well lit areas.
