New World

Should we make our characters on the character sign up or just develop them as we go along? I'm a bit new so I'm not sure how this works. :)

We can do it either way. Anythings fine with me. :) I guess we can do it under the character sign up. Would you like to post a sign up sheet or shall I?

Sure! :) I'll message you when it's done~

It was a normal down in the real world, Earth how you should say. Everything was normal, nothing bad happeninG. That was until IT happenEd. Elizabeth was walking down the street, coming back from her busy day of schooling. Her steps were soft and quiet, easily walking down the sidewalk. She froze when she heard a scream coming down from the alley way, quickly running towards the scream. Before she could turn down the hall way, the girl was slapped behind the bed and knocked out.

The next thing the girl knew, Elizabeth was falling in mid air and heading towards what looked like a block world. She screamed as she fell, a loud thundering boom echoing out through the world as she landed, a crater sized hole with where her body had hit.

The sun was setting. Steve was casually smelting some iron that he had found earlier in his expedition. Suddenly, he heard a thundering boom in the distance. That can't be creepers. He rushed to his chest and grabbed his golden helmet and sword for safety. Cautiously walking to the origin of the explosion, he could see trees uprooted from the blast. The air was full of dust. Steve did his best to shield his eyes. He finally reached the crater. To his surprise, it was a girl. She was unconscious from the fall. How the hell did she survive? The sky was beginning to turn black. Steve quickly carried the girl to safety. He carefully set her down on his bed. Questions quickly began to race in his mind as he stared at the sleeping beauty. How did she get here? Who is she? Why is she here? Nevertheless, he prepared some pork-chop for her when she wakes up. She is going to need her strength back.

As Elizabeth had been carried, her body was limp though she did have a pulse and was breathing shallowly. She seemed to curl towards the warm that she felt, though unconcious she had the instinct to curl closer. Elizabeth groaned and reached up to rub her head when she felt a surge of pain rip through it, awakening her from her fall. She glanced around a little and cried out, all of her body being sore. "W-Where am I?" She murmured softly, her head tilting as she gazed around the dizzy room. It's all.. blocks? She thought to herself, her head resting back down and her eyes closing in confusion. "Anybody?" The girl cried out softly, her head still dizzy. She didn't seem to still be dozing, but had her eyes shut.

Steve felt pity towards the girl. He still remembers how he felt when he first came to this world. "I see that you are awake.. Well, half awake," he chuckled softly, trying to cheer her up. "You are in Minecraftia. At least, that how I like to call it. I know that everything might seem strange at first, and I'll try to explain as much as I can, but first, you should try to rest. That was quite a fall you had back there." Steve let the food sizzle in the furnace as he tended to the girl's wounds. "My name is Steve in case you were wondering." He smiled softly at her.

The girls eyes shot open when she heard a voice, quickly looking around the room. She smiled weakly at the males joke and tried to sit up, ending in herself falling back down onto the bed. "What's Minecraftia?" The girl asked softly, and did obediently ly down to rest. "Your house... it looks weird." She said, half like she was amnesia. "I-I don't remeber how I got here.. or where I came from.. I only remeber who I am." The girl siad softly, looking at the man she was suppose to call Steve. "Nice to meet you... I'm..." She paused for a moment, trying to remeber. "I think.. it's.. Elizabeth." The girl said, looking around with a soft grunt.

"Nice to meet you too Elizabeth. I'm not really sure what this place is. But I do know that I'm--we, are stuck here until God knows when." Steve handed her the pork chop. "Eat this. It will make you feel better. All I do know is that at night, all sorts of abominations will try to send us to kingdom come. I built this house to shelter myself from those monsters. It's been my home ever since. I guess it's also your home now." Steve sat next to her on his crude chair. The chair creaked in disagreement.

"Do you know how long you've been here? Are there others?" She asked, being able to prop herself up onto her elbows. "Sorry I know to many questions." Elizabeth blushed darkly and looked away, looking around the home. "It's very nice." She complimented as she took the pork chop, being an obedient little child and eating the pork chop. She had began to feel a little bit better, looking at her rescuer as she could call him. He was handsome yes, but how had he managed to stay away from the abominations. She rubbed the side of her head that hurt the most from where she landed, groaning softly. "You don't have to share your home if you don't want to. I can find my own home if you would want me to." She said, not wanting to be a burden to the man.

"I'm not sure how long I've been here. It has been too long for me to remember." He answered. "But I am pretty sure that we are the only humans here." Steve walked to his crafting table and began to fashion another iron sword. "I suggest you stay with me... Unless you want to become zombie bait. It will be easier for us to survive if we stick together. I'm going to gather some wool tomorrow to make another bed. But for now, I guess I'll be sleeping on the floor." Steve gave her the sword. The name Elizabeth was crudely scratched on the blade. "For protection. If you see a monster, just give it a strong poke in the head with this." He said jokingly.

"Thats strange..." The girl said as she wasn't able to believe it. The only two humans in this world. Maybe she was brought here for a reason. "I'll stay with you then. Ain't no way I'm becoming bait for a undead zombie Nu uh." She shook her head. "You will not be sleeping on the floor! I will. It's your house. You deserve the bed." The girl said as she sat up in argument. Elizabeth took the sword, twisting it in her hand as she studied it. She gently ran her fingers along the spot that said her name and smiled a little. "You'll have to teach me first. IVe never used a sword before." The girl sod in honesty.

"It's pretty easy. Just swing hard enough to deal some damage. You'll learn through experience. But if you want me to teach you a few moves, I'll be more than happy." Steve taught her some basic combinations he uses to slay creatures.

"Please I insist. You may sleep on my bed. You are my guest."

"Steve. I'm fine with sleeping on the floor." The girl argued, but had obediently watched how he did some moves and had easily caught on. "I Command you. It's your home. So you sleep on your own bed." Elizabeth stood, and though shaky she pushed him onto his bed stubbornly and sat down in the chair when she started to feel light headed. She rubbed her head once more and leaned back, her hoodie having fell and hair hair having lost its curl, being a humongous mess.

Seeing that the girl had fallen asleep, he threw a blanket over her. The night was cold. Steve looked out the window and saw some creepers in the distance. Thank God she didn't see them. I still remember the first time I saw a creeper. Even though Steve had been in this world for some time, he was still deathly afraid of creepers. He could almost see the face of the Devil in their dark soulless eyes. Their body was full of holes, which made them lighter. This allowed them to sneak up on humans without being detected. But after a few experiences in the jungle, he discovered that they are afraid of cats. After I make Elizabeth a bed, I better get a cat to repel creepers. I'm sure she won't mind the company.

Elizabeth hugged the blanket that had been put onto her body, gladly hugging it close since the nights were Cold out. Elizabeth shifted a little as she felt like she was falling again, her eyes clenching shit and her body shaking gently. It felt as if she were falling all over again, the air blowing her back and the hard ground colliding with her delicate body. She was honestly suprised she hadn't broke any bones, and was glad she hadn't or else she would be in more pain than she already was. It was scary, the thought of falling and hitting the ground all over again.

The gentle morning sunlight flooded through the small wooden house. Steve was already awake, crafting a pair of shears. He looked at Elizabeth. She was still asleep on his chair. That looks uncomfortable. That's why I'm going to make the best bed for her. She is my guest after all. Steve inspected his newly made shears. I'm going to have to find some more iron later. My supply is running out. He prepared his supplies for the trip.

Elizabeth shifted as she heard some faint noises but had seem to ignore them. She slowly opened her eyed when she heard Steve's soft steps. Her eyes gently opened, looking at Steve as the sun flooded into her eyes. She groaned quietly and sat up straight, stretching. She rubbed her eyes tiredly and looked at Steve once more since he seemed to be going somewhere. "Where are you off too?" The girl asked with a soft frown. She tried to stand up, but instead fell back down in her chair with a Soft whimper. A hand ran.through her hair and brushed it down, watching his movements.

"I'm going to get some wool to make you a bed. I'll be right back." Steve gathered some wool from some sheep that was near his house. He chuckled seeing the sheep without their wool. "Don't worry little fella. It will grow back." He patted the sheep's back and returned to the house. He immediately went to work on the bed. The result was a small bed with a wooden frame. He added some leftover wool to the mattress to make it more comfortable.

Elizabeth had found her self wondering around then home while he had been gone, either looking through the house to see what it had to show or going outside and going to see what was going on outside. She had been cooking some food for Steve when he had returned, having found a book on how to do some cooking and craft certain things. "Pretty bed." The girl said as it was finished, walking over to it and running her hand up and down its matress. "So soft too. Are you sure you don't want it? It seems more comfortable so you can have it and I'll take yours if you like." She said as she sat down on the side of the bed, feeling how ir comforted her body when she had sat on it.

"No, you can have it. I made it for you. By the way, thanks for the food." He said as he munched happily. "I'm running low on iron. I'm going to find a cave. You can come if you want." Steve grabbed his helmet and pickaxe.

The girl nodded and looked up as he said he was going to find a cave. "You mean things like bears live in?" She asked as she stood up and grabbed her sword, wanting to go with and see what he meant by cave. To her in the real world it was hard to find diamonds or iron or coal because she was never able to look for any.

"Kind of. But the type of cave that I'm looking for should run pretty deep. Let's just hope we don't find any creepers." Steve grabbed his sword and a stack of torches and made his way outside. He determined the position of the Sun and concluded that it is about noon. "We should hurry." As they were walking, he thought that he should ask Elizabeth if it was ok if they had a cat. "You're not allergic to them, are you? I've discovered that creepers are scared of cats. Plus, I always wanted to have a cat." He grinned.
