Oapboap
The Grid. A digital frontier.
Hello, RP Nation! Handle's Oapboap. Well, more accurately, it's the handle I used when I was huge into online RP, so I figure it should be the handle I use when I return to it.
Been enjoying role playing since I could play pretend; and once I learned that that translates VERY WELL online, there was no going back after I graduated high school. That was almost 16 years ago. I was active on AIM (shut up) and LiveJournal (stop laughing) when they were the places to be. That was circa 2001-2007ish. Last time I played was about 7 years ago with an online friend so we could practice our writing skills and stay sharp.
Long story short, I stayed with the AIM people when they went to LJ and then they just stopped. I wanted more, but gave up.
Onwards. The last site I checked out I registered with, made a character and started a thread. And it still hasn't seen a response, even though it was "guaranteed" to see one within 3 days max. Whoops.
And that's why I'm here. This site sees a LOT more traffic, which means a much greater chance to get into a thread.
That was such a cool story that you might need a jacket.
A bit about me and my likes:
-34 and not feeling old now. Thanks @Edrondol!
-Big into Sci-Fi, modern and fandom settings.
-Never actually fantasy sword and board RPed, and would like to change that.
-I like to write sometimes, and can give you at least two large paragraphs, if not more. (Depends on the day, how work was, if I'm drunk surfing, /var/etc/)
-Really big into slice of life/interaction threads; mainly groups, but willing to do 1on1, if I'm comfortable with you.
Okay, enough for now. Byyyyyeee.
