New to role playing

Hi! I'm Chknut... I've never role-played before, but I've wanted to for awhile now! It looks like a lot of fun, but I'm really shy, and I hate feeling like such a noob. I don't want to join a bunch of role plays and mess things up...they seem so complicated.:saddd: But this seems like a nice place to start!
