Realistic or Modern [ New Search ] Modern/SOL/Pairings

My name is R. I’m looking to add some new role plays in the mix.

I’ve been role playing for over a decade through various mediums. Life can get kind of busy and be unpredictable (I have a full time job, a kid, and a fiance), but I try to respond daily when I can. Sometimes my weeks get crammed and I may have to wait until the weekend to respond, but I can be fairly active at night once I get my me time.

• I prefer to play male characters. I am, however, willing to play any gender when I bring in side characters as they help move things along.
• I use realistic face claims and character sheets prior to introductions. I like to have them for reference and it’s just always been something that I’ve done.
• Messages here, Discord, or Google Docs are my current preferred places to role play.
• I definitely like to try to plot as we go along and come up with twists. Don’t be shy if you have ideas of your own that you would like to throw out there. I like fluff, angst, dark themes, and drama, like most of us.
• The only thing I’m weird about—please don’t use first-person. I’ve had a few people do that and it totally throws me off. Third-person please.

Here’s what I’m most interested in right now:

• Single parent x school resource officer (I have a plot)
• Former childhood best friends (I have a plot)
• Bodyguard x heiress or celebrity (I have a plot)

And a general overview of what I do—anything really modern, slice of life, or pairings. I’m even open to something as moldable as an apartment setting with young adults and figuring out their dynamic.
