THE FACELESS FOX
“Aw, man. I knew that doggy wasn’t just there for show…”
As Welsha addressed the stranger– even smiling and waving as she did so, in true Welsha fashion– they quickly leapt off of the building, carefully transitioning into a safety roll to break their fall as they made contact with the asphalt. Once they were back on their feet, they slowly began to approach the duo, unknown weapon still in hand.
“It was on purpose!” The voice playfully called out. It was high-pitched, lively. Like that of an enthusiastic young woman. And as the then-faceless assailant finally closed the distance between them, she was revealed to be exactly that.
“Hi Hiiiii~!” The pink-haired girl enthusiastically greeted the trio, holding a cutesy peace sign up to her cheek with an innocent smile. It was as if she had completely misunderstood the situation she had just shot herself into. Adjusting the protective goggles that sat atop her head, she stood proudly and fearlessly before her foes.
“It’s me, the Azure Dragons’ adorable-and-amazing poster girl, Kimikooooooo KUGISAKIIIIIII!!!”
The imaginary fanfare roared on as she continued to pose in front of them for a few seconds, before gripping the modified metal bat in her hand even tighter and pointing an accusatory finger in Welsha, Pablo and Pit’s direction.
“Listen up, pretty lady and Mr. Handsome!” She called out to them, her green eyes still lacking any trace of urgency or seriousness. “Just like I thought, you guys’re, like, totally botherin’ my friends dad and takin’ his money!”
Her free hand carefully gripped the rest of her bat’s handle, and her expression hardened ever-so-slightly. For a moment, she just stood there, thinking back on her last conversation with her friend before she had embarked on this journey...
“Chunhua…” Kimiko had said, placing a comforting hand on her friends shoulder and using her thumb to wipe away the tears that had escaped her eyes. The two had known each other since high school. She’d spoken to her father on multiple occasions. Every single time, he seemed like a perfectly respectable man who would never fall into whatever shady scheme Chunhua had described to her.
… What could possibly be going on? Loan sharks? A rival gang trying to get the jump on the East?
“...Whatever it is, don’t worry. Your buddy's gonna put a stop to it.”
Chunhua softly sniffled, looking up at her pink-haired friend with a concerned, yet also relieved expression.
“...Kimi…?”
Kimiko pushed a triumphant thumb into her chest to point at herself, a cocky grin painted on her face as she stood tall and made her promise.
“That’s right! I’ll save ‘yer old man. It’s our first year of college, and I don’t want you fallin’ behind with all your worryin’! That just means I gotta help ya with more homework.”
…
Enough reminiscing. Back to the present. Kimiko kept her grip on her bat– implying that she was more than ready to use it if need be– and continued to stare down Welsha and Pablo.
“Now,” She started, eyes trailing over towards the pocket that Pablo had slid the envelope into. She cautiously took one hand off of her bat, pointing towards him.
“That envelope, gimme. I don’t really care who you are, or what your goal is, but, like, leave Feng Ma outta it.”
Instantly returning her hand to the bat and lightly tapping it against the ground, she added one last bit to her request.
“Unless, of course, you guys wanna do this the hard way. And ma’am, I’d really rather not mess up that pretty lil face ‘a yours.”

At least she's smart, right?Home DistrictEast DistrictGENERAL DESCRIPTIONKimi stands at 5'4, weighing 123lbs with mute pink hair and charming, green eyes. Her signature article of clothing is a baseball cap, and while they vary in style, she is almost never seen without one on her head, or on her person. The same goes for her bat. She wears whatever she wants, going from skirts and crop tops one day to a hoodie and sweatpants the next. It's impossible not to recognize her smile, or her pursed lips when she is incessantly whistling.PERSONALITY
Kimiko is very bubbly and friendly, and can be described by her fellow gang members as either "Fun to be around" or "Horribly annoying". She has a knack for teasing and provoking others, and is notorious for angering many of her opponents in fights to the point where they really want to kill her. She is fine with working hard to get what she wants, but isn't afraid to manipulate and trick others to achieve her goals either. A master of jokes and bad puns, she always tries to lighten the mood, even though she's horrible at reading moods. She genuinely cares for (most) people, despite how she may treat them, and will always lend a helping hand to someone in need. She loves praise and attention, and works hard just to be able to hear a "Good Job" or a "You're so cool!"
Originally being from the North District, and the younger sister of an ex-serpent, Kimi is very cunning and street-smart, and has seen her way through plenty of fights. She uses this experience to her advantage, to help her gang wherever she's needed. She is very intelligent, but is modest about her gifted mind as she doesn't like the attention one gets when they're smart. When asked why she joined the Dragons, she simply responds with "Because they're cool". Due to her natural craving for leadership and power, she wants to reach the top of the gang, whether it be a minor position of power, or the King's throne.
She has a bad habit of humming, and an even worse habit of whistling. She'll stop if told to, but will probably start up again in another 2 minutes.
- POTENTIALITY PROFILEROLLING THUNDERKIMIKO'S POTENTIAL • ROLLING THUNDERPRIMARY CLASSAlchemicSECONDARY CLASSEtherOTHER NAMESExplosion Enhancement, Aftershock, EncorePOTENTIALITY DESCRIPTION
While she cannot manipulate, generate, or otherwise create explosions, Kimi's potential allows her to enhance the intensity, range, destructive power, and all other properties of explosions and sparks. She does this best by combining her ability with the sparks that fly off following an explosion from her bat, using them to create a second, stronger explosion following the first impact from the bat. She also has the ability to change the shape of the explosion, from anything to a highly condensed and accurate one, to a complete mess of one.
It should be noted that Kimi is highly resistant to her own enhanced explosions, along with explosions in general. This doesn't mean she can't be killed by one, though.
STRENGTHS + WEAKNESSES
+ Excellent crowd control
+ Dangerous at close and mid range
+ Can cause certain things, like guns, lighters or cigarettes to backfire on their user
+ Perfect for explosion puns
- Kimi can only enhance explosions. She cannot cause things to explode from her bare hands, with her mind, or anything else of the sort. This means that without a spark or an explosion, Kimi cannot use her Potential.
- Kimi's bat must be reloaded after every shot. She carries plenty of blanks with her, but this can be a pain to do, especially in an intense one-on-one fight. She is also unable to make explosions without her bat, unless she has another way to make an explosion or sparks.
- Kimi is no good in long ranged fights. If she can't hit them or get her explosion to reach them, she wont be able to fight.
- While her ability has the potential (get it?) to be extremely dangerous, there is always the possibility that Kimi can hurt allies with it if they are too close.
WEAPONS + EQUIPMENT
The Bronx Cheer
Kimi's trusty, metal baseball bat. Designed by yours truly. At first look, it may appear to be a regular, metal bat. But when Kimi uses it, it is truly a horrifying device of destruction. Essentially, The Bronx Cheer is an Explosive Bat. Utilizing four .30 Caliber explosive blanks as a primer (or, just as a regular alternative for her weapon), impact landing directly on the "sweet spot" of her bat causes a small, but extremely powerful explosion with the lethal force (but not the piercing capability) of a real bullet. By manipulating the sparks from the bat's explosions, Kimi is then able to use her Jinx more effectively, by combining the force from the bat and creating a second, more deadly explosion from its sparks.
-After each shot, the barrel of the bat pops out to make Kimi's life a bit easier. She has the choice to put however many blanks as she wants, but the intensity of the first impact will lower for each blank she doesn't put in. In the event of an intense fight, she may choose to only reload with one blank for each hit, relying more on the impact of the second explosion to keep her safe.
(Basically, it is just a more durable, metal version of these two designs:
