New Nation

Nothing is left on the Old Side. The scent of bombing has long since dissipated into the air and all that rises is the dust of the ashes, the sprinkling of bone dust, and scraps of cloth. The land on the Old Side is barren, but nobody sees this. The Officials have barricaded that part of the nation with a shiny metal wall and built a whole new city.

This city is a rebirth, a self proclaimed Renaissance! The leader of the New City is Yavanar Salimus, an old man with a powerful disposition. His New World is his alone, no one can challenge him because his advisers are all old and with similar dispositions to him, his son who is 32 will take over when he dies, and his citizens are all...babies. These babies have been cultivated, so to speak. Half artificial, yet still human, they grow in artificial wombs until they are born.

The year is 3492. The oldest generation of babies will soon begin education in the new, passionless education system in which everyone receives the same, filtered information. History is rewritten. No religion. No family. No out of line interaction. Yet, despite Yavanar's tight control, some of the babies somehow gain...personalities. Some are loquacious. Some are creative, thoughtful. Smarter than average. Despite the extensive DNA testing, they still become different. Not all, though. In fact, 98% of the 200 oldest generation are the automatons Yavanar anticipated. The rest somehow aren't.

I'm still developing this idea, but if you'd like to help me develop it further, message me! I would like someone my age 14-17 and my own gender, but anywhere near to that is fine. If you're a creative guy, that's fine, too, I suppose. Thanks for reading!
