I'm okay with being average <3
I've had this AU stewing around in my head for a LONG time, but I'm not an artist and most AUs NEED some form of visual attribute to really get started. The AU is called "Clockwork Falls" it is a steampunk based universe set in the 1920-30s.

In this universe everything is less advanced in the modern way. Imagine a 1920s Gravity Falls that runs on steam powered mechanisms and gadgets. Ford is the town's most notable and recognized inventor and mechanic. Stan is mayor and is a greedy, selfish and heartless man who only wishes to profit off of Ford and his inventions. Mabel is just as adventurous and cheerful and her lovely Waddles is still cute and chubby. But the poor thing does have a peg leg and an eye patch (so cute). Dipper also has his original personality and works under Ford as his apprentice and is an inspiring inventor as well. Ford is against the use of magic, and believes that Stan's constant practice of it has made him into a horrible and corrupted person.
"But what about Bill!" Haha. Don't worry. Bill was one of Ford's experiments. Ford was trying to create artificial life (One of his life long dreams). Bill was originally suppose to be a mining bot, but Ford saw potential in his creation. After letting a bolt of lightning strike Bill's metal body, he has finally done it, But there was problem. Bill was very mischievous and troublesome. He would intentionally sabotage Ford's work and he would take his "fun" to far, unusually resulting in somone getting hurt. After a year of trying to "fix" Bill, Ford gave up and deactivated him, then proceeded to throw him into his "Failed Pile" where all failed experiments go. (Which is just a giant hole in the middle of the forest). On day Dipper came across Bill and took him back to the lab and started working on him without Ford's knowledge and managed to reactivate him. Bill awoke with a deep, resentful hate towards Ford for throwing him away like he was nothing, and with one thing on his mind. Kill Ford and destroy is legacy, by any means necessary.
Bill has the ability to create mechanical streamed powered monsters and bring them to life while simultaneously controlling them. He has the ability to time travel, but it causes him to rust and disintegrate so he only does it when he absolutely has to. He has full control over anything metal and he can transfer his consciousness into anything and anyone and possess it, but this leaves his body vulnerable and he must hide his body before he does it. He can shapeshifter took like anyone and anything as well.
In this universe the Pines family must find a way to stop Bill. But there are many challenges. Bills monsters and crazy antics, corrupted magic users, power hungry and traitorous brothers, and not to mention all of the weird and unexplained. Together Ford, Dipper, Mabel and friends must find a way to defeat Bill before he Kills Ford and wipes out their family.
