Hey All,
This is a quick announcement to let you all know about the trial we are performing on the site. We haven't purchased it yet but we will if feedback is decent enough. Its not a secret that we've been looking for a shoutbox. Since its not really meant to be used as a real time chat, its just a slow loading shoutbox not really meant for conversation. Its also terrible with performance as many people have complained in the past.
If this trial does not work out, we will return to the old system.
Smilies:
The awesome smilies by @The Pooka will be included shortly.
Banned Users:
Users who were banned previously in the old SB are not going to be instantly banned on this trial as a show of faith. If we end up keeping this system, then you'll be free from your permanent SB ban. However you will be on probation in the mean time.
Banned users can begin an Appeal process in Admin contact for chat privileges again.
No Verbal Warnings:
During this trial period, the staff will not be issuing zero point(verbal warnings) to users. Any infractions will instantly be worth a point or higher.
Larger Version:
For those of you who like the larger version, you can click on chat at the top of the site. Be warned though, don't open the lobby room on the bar while viewing the larger version. Only one of them will display messages.
PM System:
This is not a replacement for the PM system. Users are encouraged to use this to RP with each other outside of the Lobby room but be warned we can see everything through this system. Site rules still apply, no cybering/sexy rps.
The List of Friends:
Out side of the Lobby, your freind's list is populated with people you follow. You can block at any time someone who messages you among other things.
Annoying Sounds, Showing Usernames, etc:
Click on the gear at the top right of the room. If you want to disable it for the big version and enable names and the stuff, you'll have to do it on the mini version first.
Hate it beyond all life it self?
At the far right there is a green switch that lets you turn off the bar.

We want everyone to post their feedback here. Whether its negative or positive. All we ask is that you keep it respectful and actually explain why you don't like it if that is the case.
