New...but enthusiastic

Hello my fellow Roleplayers. Can I say that? I am not really a roleplayer yet am I?


Well, let's keep it at that. I am Anne, 32 years old (don't worry if I forget my age...I usually tend to forget my birthday as well, so I could still be 32 in over a year), from the Netherlands. I have always been fond of stories and roleplay. I used to write a couple of short stories in Dutch with a friend.


A little while ago I started thinking about joining some roleplay community or something. A place where I could share my interest with many like minded individuals. It looks like I have found that place...let's hope I have indeed.


As you could have noticed this introductory post was the first thing I did after signing in here. So don't worry if you find my profile missing details or if you are missing an avatar on it. Those things will come eventually.


Now let's take some time to tell you about my specific interests. I like several different directions for my roleplay, so chances are high you could find me applying for your story some day. But what I like best are the following things:


- Medival fantasy


- Postapocalyptic survival (Fallout a.o.)


- Modern day survival (like "tomorrow when the war began")


What I don't like:


- Anime/Manga


- Vampires and most other supernatural beings


- Super heroes


There are many more things that could fit either of these categories. But we will find those out eventually.


I think I'll leave it at this for now. And before anyone asks: Yes I have read the rules and i have voted

Glad to see more and more folks in what I suppose I could call the 'older' age group joining the site!


I may be a bit bias, but I'm almost certain you've found the place you were seeking for a fantastic roleplay community. RpN is the place that got me back into the roleplaying scene and I've not run off in two years so that's bound to say something. =P


I hope you're able to find your way around the site but if you need any assistance, bop into the shoutbox or PM one of us on the staff and we'll be willing to lend you a hand!
