New Artifact: Held in Contempt

Basically, its a pair of Soulsteel Flame Pieces which "automatically" add the user's Compassion (the Virtue which drives the Abyssals to kill) to the user's ping.


I think its a really potent effect. I looked at the Endings Style for inspiration- the form increases minimum damage to Martial Arts. However, my artifact *adds* Compassion, rather than replace, making for something a little more dangerous.


After all, consider an Exalt with Essence 3 and Compassion 3- really easy to do out of the box. He's already pinging for 6 dice.


Could this be too powerful of an effect for a rating 3 artifact?

I think artifact three is about right if the commitment costs are high enough, they should definitely be higher than those of your averabe daiklaive, cause especially for low essence characters the artifact is potentially pretty awesome and so they should be forced to trade off some essence for perhaps more than doubling their damage.
