Multiple Settings New and searching - totally unsure

Hi!

Well as the title says I am brand new to this site. I did rp quite a bit when I was younger and always dabbled in writing fiction so I can string a sentence or two together when the mood strikes. So you won't be receiving any one paragraph replies.

Now my problem is I'm not sure where to start. So I guess what I'm looking for is someone who is experienced in this sort of thing to give me a hand. You are perfectly welcome to pick the storyline and I'll slot myself in somewhere (as long as it is something that we agree upon and that I have some semblance of knowledge on). I'm hoping it's also someone who could correct me on areas I'm not doing well in and help me learn more about this world.

I would be really appreciative of any help that I get. Thanks and I hope to hear from someone...anyone.
