New and Old Relations

Miss Fit

Meta-Magic Eight Ball
[private for me and @SeverusX]

So I didn't know where you wanted to start so for Mori x OC I did directly after school(No host club this afternoon) where they meet in the courtyard and for Kyoya x OC I did their families meeting about the marriage for the first time.

Kohana

The air conditioner blew cooling air down her neck and shoulders, relieving the hot flush that covered them. She had been tense ever since earlier in the morning when her parents told her about this meeting. To walk in a house and meet your future husband, parents-in-law, and then discuss the marriage all while still sixteen made her feel anxious. Hopefully they would decide to hold off until she graduated high school. At least her stressful day had been made significantly better by being given a change of clothes much better than the yellow princess dress uniform at Ouran.

Slowly the black luxury car drove down the long driveway, arriving in front of an extravagant house. Staff came outside to greet them as Kohana stepped out of the car. She walked behind her parents as they were lead to the main foyer where they would meet.

Mori

The clouds drifting in front of the sun was a blessing, he decided. Without them the day may have been too hot to bear. It was the last hot day before the cold would blow in and most people had taken advantage of it, swimming in their pools and spending most of the day outside. Currently he was walking out from the school building, having no host duties to perform today, with Hunni riding on his shoulders like normal. The meeting had been canceled on account of Haruhi needing to study and Kyoya having a meeting. Mori was fine with it, though he enjoyed spending his time with the club he also had a test coming up and some time off is appreciated.

As he walked towards the car something caught his attention, as if a Sudden sense of nostalgia had hit him. When he turned his head fully his stride faltered. The hair, eyes, even the small turn of her lips was the same. An exact resemblance to the several years ago. She stood only a few feet from him, and he could easily call out to hid old friend, but her name... what was her name. it started with an S. Shiemi? Shima?

"Shina."

Kyoya

Kyoya hadn't been excited for this day. He'd never cared for arranged marriages to begin with, and he was only seventeen, after all.

He'd never really thought of getting married, actually. But it had been decided for him by his parents.

At the very least, he'd wanted the chance to choose for himself, but of course, he never really got to choose anything for himself.

Sighing as he heard word that the family had arrived, Kyoya sat up straighter and put on a fake smile. He had to at least look pleased.

His parents sat on either side of him, both with large (not fake) smiles on their faces.

Shina

Shina had spent yet another boring day in school. She liked a few classes, but generally, she felt that her time could be used better.

Doing art, for one, or baking, maybe. She enjoyed both of these things a lot, and it seemed that she never had time for either of them.

Sighing as she left the classroom building, Shina looked up at the beautiful blue sky and smiled.

At least the weather was gorgeous.

She usually got driven home by her personal driver, but today she decided to walk home. It was only a block, after all.

Taking off the jacket of her uniform, Shina folded it over her arm, and was about to leave when she heard her name.

Turning to see who'd said it, she spotted someone she hadn't seen in forever. Mori. He'd been her childhood crush.

"Mori?" She called, smiling as she made her way to him.

Kohana

She focused on the click of her mothers heels more than the people waiting for them. All she saw was two men, each with black hair, and a woman. One was obviously the son and the other the father. The father had the obvious "all-business" look on him, wearing a pressed suit, and stern expression, though the smile made him look somewhat better. The son had the same black hair and gray eyes behind glasses but Kohana knew a fake smile when she saw one. If that was the person she was supposed to marry then he looked just as unhappy, even if he had the better sense to hide it. Looking away towards the dark wood table she only half listened to the conversation. Something about it being good for both businesses, being pleased they had reached an agreement, and every reason that could justify it. Finally her father turned to her, smiling in happiness as the meeting went as good as expected. "We're almost done Kohana. Just a few more things to be settled between Mr. Ootori and us. Why don't you and Kyoya take a walk around the house. Get to know each other."

She didn't need to be told twice as she pushed the chair back and waited for the boy to do the same. Kyoya? It was the first time she had heard his name.

Mori

Though his face remained relatively impassive on the inside he was glad to see his old friend. As a child they would play together, and he enjoyed showing her the new kendo moves he learned from his sensei. Shina, Hunni, and him had been close, until middle school. He and his cousin had attended Ouran starting in middle school, but she had attended another. Slowly the distance killed the friendship, something he strongly regretted. It wasn't in his nature to talk freely and so when together he preferred to hear her talk but it was harder to do that over text or phone. "Ah," he said lowly, voice holding a somewhat brighter tone. "I did not know you attended Ouran." That last part was true. If he had known he would have attempted to renew their old friendship or bring her to the host club.
