Answered New and feeling alittle lost

Hello so I am checking out this site after the one I been on for 5 years been getting a little stale... Okay allot stale like sea biscuit stale. Though I have been rping a long time trying to move own makes me feel a bit awkard. I have lurked, read rules, said hello, set a profile. So if there any advice one would give to a new comer?

i don't think there's much advice to give tbh, just hop in the roleplay recruiting section to find people you think you'd mesh well with writing-wise. there's tons of people active throughout the day with various rp interests so you're bound to find someone. and hey, you could post your own partner search/interest check too :>

imo the best way to make new friends and get to know the community would be to hop in on discussions already started rp or general discussions forum (the #forumgames one is a blast). and if you don't see a particular topic there, start your own thread !

As it was already suggested, the best way to start roleplaying is to check active Recruitmet threads or start your own, and to get to know people, participating in discussions is a way to go

You might also want to check the Comprehensive Guide to RpNation and FAQ that can also help to navigate the site

I feel you on this! I just joined after having been on my last roleplay website for 14 years. I feel so thrown off being on such a different site than I'm used to.
